Decent store. One of these boxes doesn't change much from the others, it's the staff that usually makes the grade. Today they weren't very interactive. Actually didn't have a single one even say hi or send a smile my way. Makes for a very cold welcome to the store. There was one thing I was looking for, though they didn't have it in stock. It's a bit more of a specialty item, so it's possible they don't even carry something of this nature. This location does have have a hot dog stand outside as well. Smells so good!!!! read more

I talked to Husqvarna's de-escalations department about a warranty and refund for my 435 X-Torq chainsaw, which I purchased at Lowe's, because Lowe's refused to refund it. I told the de-escalation team I was going to hit Husqvarna from many different angles for not honoring their warranty and for not giving me a full refund, even though the agent originally said they would. A month after purchase, I used it for the first time, and it would not operate. I tried to take it to Lowe's, and it was one day past their 30-day refund policy. So they refused to refund it. I then contacted Husqvarna about the situation. They sent me to a warranty repair company that was a full hour's drive from my house, one way, which was the closest one. This company kept it for 3 weeks, and then all it needed was a 5-minute repair of adjusting the carburetor. After paying over $400.00 after tax for this saw, it wasn't even usable and had to go in for immediate repair work. I then fired it up again about 8 months later, used it for several hours, and burned about 1 gallon of fuel, and it suddenly stopped working completely. I contacted the repair shop to have it diagnosed. It was a failed ignition module. It took 4 months to order the part and repair it. I decided at this point that this Husqvarna was a total piece of junk. I had spent one hour driving to the repair shop to drop it off, one hour back, then one hour to pick it up, and one hour back. I became absolutely fed up with this unreliable piece of pure junk and asked Husqvarna to give me my money back, since it has a 2-year warranty and 3 years if you buy their fuel oil at the time of purchase. They then denied me a refund, so during severe storm season, I do not have a saw, even though I bought it specifically for this reason. At this point, every time I use it, it needs major repairs, and Husqvarna refuses to honor its warranty and replace it, even though it was not damaged by me but was sold as an absolute piece of unreliable junk that cannot be used once without constant, major repairs. At this point, I will never in my lifetime buy another Husqvarna product, for they do not honor their warranties and will not refund a piece of junk product that they sold. They do not take responsibility for the fraudulent warranties they offer. So, never buy a Husqvarna product; Lowe's will also not refund it after 30 days. Both Lowe's and Husqvarna are absolute nightmares to work with and sell pure garbage while taking your money. If you want a chainsaw, buy a STIHL from a dealer, not a box store, because there are many more dealers who will do warranty work on them, because they are a much better product. Most repair shops do not work on Husqvarna's anymore because they are such a piece of junk and have stopped selling them. At this point, I will also not buy power equipment from Lowe's anymore because, even with an extended warranty you purchase, they refuse to refund you if it is past the 30-day mark and tell you to go through the dealer, but then the dealer won't refund the product either and blames Lowe's for it. Both completely evade responsibility. So far, none of the power tools from Lowe's have been reliable, and they're much worse than even Harbor Freight, which is way cheaper. Husqvarna says they will repair the product, but they don't understand that I don't have time to take it to the repair shop after every use, and now it sits in the repair shop for as long as it sits in my garage. They also don't understand that if they don't refund it, it will cost Husqvarna 10 times the refund amount, because warranty work is $100-$130 per hour plus parts. They are being completely mindless about this on every level. Now I am stuck with a piece of junk chainsaw that I used 3 times. Yet, I had a STIHL for 15 years, and it never had any of these problems. So at this point, I am going to hose Husqvarna and Lowe's with terrible reviews and use that warranty to cost them 10-20 times what I paid for the product, since that is the way they want it. Then, after the warranty is up, I'm gonna have to buy a new chainsaw because repairs are more expensive than buying a new one. I will never buy another power tool from Lowe's or Husqvarna. We purchased an LG under hood microwave at the Lowe's in Lake Worth, paid to have their contractor install it. 13 months, 1 month after warranty, after purchase, the microwave burned out. So we found the same LG microwave at the Lowe's in Westworth Village, paid their contractor to install it. The second contractor found that the first contractor put the exhaust hose so it the exhaust heat came right back down on the microwave. We had to pay almost $600 to replace the first one, which is an entire week's pay. I went to the manager Damen personally twice over 2 weeks, on both occasions Damen promised us at least $100 credit if management refused to pay for their entire failure. It's been over 2 weeks and not one phone call or email from Damen, which amounts to at worst being lied to, at the least dishonesty. I have emailed my concerns, received no answer. We have purchased refrigerators, washer dryers, lawnmowers from Lowe's over the years, but Never will we trust Lowe's, especially the Lake Worth store with any purchase ever again. He acted the friend, but did nothing to fulfill that. I hope there is an explanation, but so far just hollow words and almost $600 we should not be paying, if they'd done us right. We ordered a mower and weed eater online for pickup, it was processed and ready for pickup within 30 minutes! So if you're not doing curbside pickup, which has designated parking spots near the entrance, you will go to customer service. There's two separate lines, one for return and one for, you guessed it, pickups. The associate brought our order up from the back pretty timely and even asked if we wanted help loading it. Easy process! After loading our order ourselves, we walked back inside to pick up some plants and hummingbird feeder. Checking out was fast and the cashier was friendly! We purchased a freezer on sale and paid for delivery. Service was friendly and it arrived on time. My frustration is that the freezer became cold, and as instructed, we transferred all if our frozen foods to speed up the process. Several days later we discover that everything inside was defrosted despite the panal reading -1degree. In order to get a replacement freezer we had to return the defective one and PAY for a new one in which they would credit us for the first one within 24 hours of receivibg the unit. Here it is, a week later, and we are in line to get our refund which should have been automatic. There has been zero compensatiin for our troubles and substantial food loss. I generally like Lowes but this has been a very disappointing experience. I have been a faithful customer for years we're remodeling our house and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Lowe's. We had a delivery and items never showed up so we ended up canceling a few items. They ripped us off for over $300 and refused to give us back the money for it. We paid for the items and the order got canceled and they did not refund the items that we never received because the order got canceled, even though we paid that money for them. I hate to do it, but we are no longer customers of Lowe's and we would recommend to be very careful with what you spend your money on there because they can easily with no conscious just steal over $300 from us when it's very clear we paid for it. Worked out great! I needed an electrical part amid COVID-19. I was greeted at the door and reminded to stay 6 feet apart from other customers and employees. No problem. Found the aisle with my part - engaged (from safe distance) and employee. He grabbed what I needed off the shelf. Simple! Checkout went well. Worst customer service ever - as in NO customer service! We are definitely going to be making our home purchases at Home Depot and Best Buy only from now on. We bought a high end washer/dryer set (over $1k). The Lowe's installers improperly installed the washing machine. As soon as they installed the washer, they set it to "quick wash" as one of them explained "to get the factory smell out." The installers left when they set it to quick wash, assuring us that everything was set. 5 minutes later, we realized they had not connected the washer drain hose. It was simply flopping around spewing water ALL over the laundry room, and into the sheet rock of the wall!! Of course, that tripped the breaker and turned off the outlet. After immediately putting down blankets, towels, rags, and opening all house doors, we called this lowe's back. They sent back the same two installers. This time, they connected the water hose (I watched.). They immediately left with me asking, "Shouldn't we check this to make sure." Their response, "It's fine. Sorry for the last time," and they immediately left. I tried turning on the washer and NOTHING. My husband realized that the water spewing out everywhere had tripped the breaker, so he reset the breaker. STILL the washer would not turn on. We finally realized that the water damage had damaged the actual outlet. We ran about three extension cords (dangerous to do, but we had to test due to ZERO assistance from Lowe's) and realized that the washer would turn on. We called Lowe's (this one) back and explained the situation. They asked for pictures, which we immediately emailed to them. We were promised that a district manager would call us the next day. That did NOT happen. The following day, my husband called 1-800 # for corporate Lowe's and got an incident number and filed a report. Two days later, still NO word from Lowe's. My husband called the local Lowe's again and was told to email pictures AGAIN. He was also promised that a claim with an insurance company would be filed, and that he would receive a phone call. So, a day later, still no phone call. Today, I called corporate and spoke with a nice lady named Faith. She said that "Gilbert" put some notes in the incident that he tried calling us but our voice mails were full. That was a total lie told by Gilbert and I let Faith know that. We had no calls from corporate, and neither of us has a full voice mail. Faith suggested that we call the local store together. (Apparently, corporate likes the local store to resolve issues.) At first, the manager (Stanley) claimed that my husband had never emailed him the "required" information for a claim. That was simply not the truth. Eventually, because I simply refused to accept Lowe's lack of taking responsibility and lack of care for customers, and because I refused to get off the phone, Stanley said that if we bring him an electrician's bill, he will have Lowe's reimburse us. He also said that after promising since the incident date (September 16, 2017) that he would file a claim for any water damage in the sheet rock. Faith with corporate was also on the line when Stanley agreed to this. We also asked for and received an email from Stanley stating that Lowe's will pay for the electrical repairs. I do NOT trust that Lowe's will have these things done, since local and Lowe's corporate has done anything since the day of the incident but bounce us around to different people to speak with. Lowe's was happy enough to accept $1200.00 from my husband and I. LOWE'S sent out the techs that broke items in our home. LOWE'S has to fix that. If one of us had accidentally broken something in a Lowe's store, we would understandably be expected to pay for it. THE REVERSE IS ALSO TRUE. Lowe's broke an outlet AND caused water damage in our home. Lowe's should have some type of CUSTOMER SERVICE, take responsibility and FIX MY JACK AND WALL. I will update my review IF Lowe's accepts responsibility and fixes the jack and wall. read more

I am a frequent shopper of Lowe's. Generally, I have a very pleasant experience. This is my first time shopping at this Lowe's. It started out well, as I had a return to customer service. The return as quick and easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had five items total and had to use the self check out, as there was not a manned check out available. Because the item I returned was purchased on a merch card, they had to be returned to a new merch card. The merch card would not scan at the self checkout, so I selected the "get help" option. The woman running the self checkouts was completely oblivious to anything going on, so another woman stopped and asked if I needed help. I told her the merch card would not work. The way she spoke to me was completely unnecessary and she was extremely rude. She told me that of course those cards worked at this register. When the card would not work, she got frustrated with me and called the other woman who was supposed to be working the self check outs over. They ended up typing in my merch card manually; however, I had to merge cards, because I had a remaining balance on another card. They were not reload my return back onto that card. Because I had a Second merge card, the woman was even more frustrated and began to snap at me and grabbed my ID out of my hand rudely. I didn't dare tell her that I was a military veteran so that I could receive the 10% discount, because the experience was completely uncomfortable as it was. When I went to return my cart, a man was collecting carts in the parking lot nearest my car. I stood patiently waiting for him, only to have him snap at me to use another cart return because he was busy. I will not be returning to this location. I bought a used Craftsman Lawnmower from the store. I was told it had some kind of magneto issue and was repaired. Took it home and did not use it for a couple weeks, when I did use it the mower it sputtered and stalled and would not stay running. I work 80-100 hours a week and did not bring it back until today. As often as I visit this Lowe's, I've can't say I've had a bad experience. But recently we had an issue with a delivery containing wrong items and also missing several items. We went into customer service to find out what happened and the representative helping us, Shayna, was the most professional, intelligent and helpful young lady. Amid all the challenges going on these days related to the pandemic, she remained pleasant and patient as she navigated us towards a resolution. Now, we are still awaiting a call back regarding the delayed/incomplete delivery, but has nothing to do with Shayna's efforts. We'd also like to thank the other young lady in the Garden section for her patience and assistance as she searched for item numbers to ring up our nuts and bolts. Understandable they are busy I get that. But take the time to take care of a Customer the right way. We bought a mower from them in 6-16-17 (Friday) It had a low tire on it and they said they would order us a new one on Monday and have it ready for us. We are six weeks later, I've made three trips to the store and six phone calls and still without a tire. Worst experience ever! I purchased a new washer and dryer set with all the extras and set up for delivery. When the day of the delivery came, only the washer arrived and upon checking on it, found out that the Lowe's sales associate had listed the dryer as a carryout. No problem I thought, this stuff happens so I set the dryer delivery date for a couple days later. Fast forward to today, the dryer shows up in the installation guys try to scam me. They took out my old dryer, brought in the new dryer, and then reinstalled my old cord and vent duct even though I had paid over $50 for new ones. I guess they had not thought that I would have noticed as I am paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair. I watched them do the install, and when I questioned them about the cord & vent duct, they look surprised and spoke some Spanish between them and said that they had the items on the truck. The items were then installed, but it shouldn't have gone this way. You should expect more from a retailer and those delivery people that represent them. Upon calling the store and asking for a manager, I spoke with guy who would only say that that's a separate issue with the company that they use for deliveries and that I should take it up with them. He did give me the phone number and I asked him if he was even bothered at all by the fact that these people represent them to give good service after the sale. His cold response to answering that was that "that was them and not us." I find it ridiculous that a national brand like Lowe's would have people representing them like that. If it was just one issue, like forgetting to add the dryer to the delivery, I could understand. But to have their delivery folks try to scam me followed by the rudeness of the manager is ridiculous. So please get the word out to your family and friends that if you must shop at Lowe's, do so at your own risk and watch them very carefully. It's really hard to get help at this store and the guys that work in the electrical department don't know what they are talking about. I was looking for help with an adapter to change from RCA to BNC the second man argued with me about what it was called and did a google search looking for RCA to coax told me there wasn't anything to do that with and rudely told me the page meant he was needed in another department. WARNING. Do Not use this Lowes Contractors. This is the 4th time I've used them and 3 out of the 4 were a total disaster. But here is the latest one. Needed a fence, Lowes employee came out gave me a price $9300. And I gave him pictures of the hardware I wanted on the gates, all parts were on hand at Lowes. Contractor comes out same thing he gets the pics. This was all back in Sept. They both said 1 and 1/2 days to complete. Just this week 11/12 the fence went BUT no gates. They sent out 5 boxes of hardware NOT ONE piece matched anything in the pictures. So now it's a weekend I have no gates and after a day on the phone they are running around the Lake Worth Lowes looking for gate hardware. And don't dare talk to a manager that's like talking to a empty DR Pepper can. The only help I got was from the 2 Ladies in the Install department, I least they tried . I come the store someone off in this place at Home Depot by lately I've been from Home Depot due to the customer service differences with the amount of Associates that seem to be walking the floor being higher on Depot however I'm starting to lean more towards Lowe's. Originally I was leaving this way because the plants some of the trees and shrubs in particular have a one year warranty on them so I just take them back and get my money back that in itself is worth paying a little extra. I'm not sure if they got a new management at the Lowes though because I've noticed that the staff seemed to be more friendly over the last year more attentive to detail and his daughter all just seems to be a better experience than what I was getting. Last year when I came it seem like everybody kept pointing to the right products I never asked her something to work on my floor they would sell me the wrong product to work on the floor by Astro tree I get sold the wrong tree however the last handful of visits they send me send me the right products making the right recommendations and taking fantastic care of me. I left some seeds in my buggy last time I came in I just happened to mention it to the cashier and she just gave me a credit right there on the spot. I mean I told her that wasn't necessary it was probably my fault I left them in the buggy after all but you just said love takes good care of their customers and you're a customer and then take care of me. That's why when I had to buy another tree I went back that $8 where the seeds cause me to buy $80 worth of trees. And since I know that Lowe's is going to take care of me when I buy stuff in the future that's where I'm going to shop kudos to that cashier in the garden center at nice older lady she did a fantastic job I will be back read more

I recently tried to purchase a range from Lowe's online - the product itself is probably great; I wouldn't know because Lowe's "sold" it to me on Thanksgiving to keep me from buying from a different retailer, but cancelled my order because they knew it was out of stock the entire time. When I asked "customer support" I was told I could buy a similar product for much more money. There was nothing else they were "able" to do (read that as nothing they were willing to do). This is a text book bait and switch taken straight from the playbooks of every shady used car salesman ever. Came to pick up a housewarming gift for very close friends of mine. Upon arrival my lime tree was not cared for the leaves are shriveled up and it had not been watered properly at all. I could not find another one tree in the area so I asked for a discount because I was unsure if the tree would live. Management and the lawn care supervisor assured me that corporate was no longer giving discounts on trees and they would not give me a discount even if it was their fault for not caring for the plant properly. We recently moved into our new home, and going from an apartment to a house, have needed tools, appliances, etc. This is the closest Lowes and we've visited it A LOT over the past few weeks. Everyone we've encountered has been polite, patient (yes we've tested their patience), and genuinely helpful. Today was a stressful day for me, and having to go to Lowes to figure out how we could switch out, or return and rebuy a refrigerator (the one we bought was too big, oops) was on my list of frustrations. I was expecting disappointment and more money and time and being out a refrigerator for two more weeks, I was instead overwhelmed by the courtesy and concern of Rickey, Rachel, and Bobby.
