We have been shopping here for years. Our garage door broke at the beginning of the month, so of course we drove here to order a new one. Employee stated they would also contract out the work to a trusted company and get the door installed. It is now the 29th and we still don't have a door installed. Not only does it take 20 minuets for the "Operator" to transfer you to the correct area of the store to speak to someone, if the person who took the original order is not working they state they cannot help you. Today we called back and were told that it's "Unknown" when it would be done. Keep in mind we already did the financing and had the contractor out to the house to measure the standard two car garage. I highly suggest if you are planning on using Lowe's for a garage door,,,,, don't! Unless you don't mind waiting over a month for it. We are gladly taking our business somewhere else...... read more

Placed an order for a smoker, with assembly (and paid for it) at 9:00 am. Receipt said it would be available for pick up that afternoon. By 6:00 pm I had not received a notification that it was ready for pickup, so I decided to go to the store to find out. I was told at the pickup desk that "we have been unable to find it". As they looked for it, I requested to speak to a manager. A 'Mike" showed up and stated he knew "exactly" where my smoker was at. I suggested that he go show the two people currently looking for it. He informed me the problem wasn't locating the item but rather that the order wasn't received till late in the day. I inquired as to if the smoker was assembled and he said no, and that assembly would take two days to do. I stated that that is not at all what the web site said and that I would just take a refund and go elsewhere. As he was (slowly) processing my refund, BEHOLD, here comes a young man pulling my ASSEMBLED smoker. So, obviously "Mike" lied to me both about their ability to find my purchase, when the order was received, and the length of time required to assemble the item! read more

Do not purchase your appliances from Lowe's. I purchased an LG washer and dryer set and warranty from the Lowe's on Bryant Irvin last December. When it began having issues just months after purchase, I called to have it serviced. It was very difficult to get someone on the phone. Then, they wanted to troubleshoot vs sending someone out. Once they agreed that someone needed to come out, the company assigned (C3) sent a text message confirming that they had received my request. No follow up was done after this. I called them several times with no success. I then began trying to call the store to get help. I tried calling the warranty company again but when I call it says no one is available to take your call. I am very disappointed as I have purchased all my appliances for my rental house and my primary residence from Lowe's. The managers tell me there's nothing they can do. So, I've spent about $2000 on a new washer and dryer that don't work and apparently Lowe's cannot do anything to assist me. The manager I just spoke to said unfortunately I wasn't the first person to tell her a story like this and there was nothing she could do. Buyer Beware. Lowe's should stand behind their product and their warranty they sell. Consumers have no recourse. Choose wisely! read more

Number 1 they have a terrible entrance drive off of Bryant Irvin. Bad enough to call for front end alignments. Number 2 I was in store today looking for septic chlorine tablets and finally asked a person at plumbing desk. He led me to where they were 12 feet off the floor. I said it looks like I need a ladder and he replied I will get you one. That was the last I saw of him so after about 20 minutes I found a roll around ladder and climbed my 80 year old butt up the 12 feet to get the chlorine. Worst store ever! Came in because Burleson said they had 4 of an item that I needed, a lawn mower and 5 of a weed eater. Went to the store and they checked and said yes we do. Went to get them and they had 0 of both! How do you lose 9 big items like that and have no idea! Numerous times the website has claimed to have a product when they do not. Why have a website that tells you if a store has products in if you NEVER UPDATE IT? Even better is when I call this particular store, ask to be sure the product is in, am told they have "plenty in stock" by the store's employees, only to drive all the way out there (today in the rain) to find - no, no they do NOT have any at all in stock. GRRR. This has happened over and over again at this particular store. So today was the last time I will be shopping at this store. I don't recommend this store to any shoppers. I do recommend this store hire less lazy employees that actually check on an item before they confirm that it is in stock, as well as a better website. I bought some hardware for a dresser I was giving a makeover, and I got home to realize one of the drawer pulls I purchased didn't look like the other ones--like it was some older, back dated version that was mixed in with the others. It was super obvious that it didn't have the same finish as the others, even the packaging was faded. Not sure if someone returned this one or what but it was really inconvenient to have to drive all the way back just to switch out a knob. The guys in the paint department were actually very helpful in helping me determine what kind of paint to buy for my dresser. read more

With all the purchases I have made with this location using myLowes and all- I purchase a fridge that stopped working in 8 months and can't get anywhere from them. Even with the purchase of an additional two year warranty. Then the manager ask did I call the 800 number tell her yes been on hold 4 hours and no resolve for her to call the number and tell me they are closed as if I didn't already say that. $500 of food spoiled twice. BUYER BEWARE!!! Spent $3200 to get cabinets and a vanity installed at the store on Bryant Irvin. I received a call 3 weeks after placing the order stating that everything was in. Twenty minutes later, I received another call starting that part of the cabinet was back ordered. No one could tell me why I received the first call. Now three weeks later, and I had confirmed installation again. An hour before the install time window was to elapse, I received another call stating that they ordered the incorrect piece, and it was damaged. All pieces had been at the store for a week (most for over 3 weeks); however, no one bothered to inspect all the pieces. In addition, I had all of my plumbing removed for the installation, and my husband had to miss work to accommodate the installation schedule. I asked to have the name and phone number/email of the regional manager multiple times but was told they couldn't provide that information to me. I did some digging and found a number on online. Again, I was told that I couldn't have the regional manager's information , but I could file a corporate complaint, and I would be contacted within 24 hours. I called the store back asking to speak to the store manager, and I was turned over to a department manager. I have yet to be able to speak to the ACTUAL store manager or a regional manager. read more

I don't own a truck so moving stuff has always meant bothering someone. NO MORE! I am in love with this Lowes. I cleaned out a storage building and the few things I kept were big items. Lowes to the rescue! Didn't have to bother my friends or go to UHaul either. Lowes rents a pickup for $20 for 90 mins! Hooray! The employees could not have been more helpful! It was so simple, so fuss no muss! And if you are late? It is only $5 each additional 15 mins! Too fabulous! What a life and friend saver lol! After a very frustrating wait in the return line (3 people behind the counter with a line out the door and only 1 person actually helping customers) my trip was redeemed by Missy at check out. She was so kind, efficient and honestly her personality made this go from a 2 star trip to a 4 star. There was also a very knowledgeable young man who's name I did not get that helped me find exactly what I needed. I always have trouble at returns in this store... they seem to always need a managers authorization (their card or code) to do their jobs to the best of their ability, which makes me wonder why they don't just give these hard working girls that same authorization ability OR have a manager there at all times... but all that said... Most rude unhelpful people I've met at ANY retail store. The guy that is supposedly the manager of the pro desk has absolutely NO IDEA what customer service is. Customers are who pays your dang salary. Learn how to treat them as such. Just arrogant rude and the "I don't give a damn attitude". He needs a new profession. the Spanish speaking girl at the front tried to be as nice as she could and make up for her arrogant coworker. Lowes President of 1 year (start 7of18), Marvin R. Ellison, having previously killed and stripped the bones of the once mighty J.C.Penny's has begun to destroy the best large hardware/home improvement company in the country. Check the prices and product selection, size/length/weight and you'll notice that, like he did at J.C.Penny's, quality, amount/size and availability are being squeezed out for higher price-lower volume products, fewer staff members, less specialized assistance. Today's last straw was simple bird netting to keep the squirrels and birds from my fruit trees and bushes. Until last spring, before Ellison's accession, Lowes sold a perfect lightweight netting, 14' wide by 100' long for about 49.00. Now, they offer a much heavier netting that is only four feet wide and 25 feet long for 39.00 (1400sq ft versus 100 sq ft). The Lowes manager said they could not even special order the larger, lighter product. I came home and ordered the lighter weight from Amazon and paid 38.00 for 2,500 sq ft, more than 25 times the coverage of what Lowes now offers. Selection is diminished, service is failing, staffing is reduced and the general attitude is less conducive to a pleasant experience. Ellison is a bone collector. It is distressing to see Lowes beginning to bend under the weight of his short sighted, short term predatory marketing model. Meanwhile, Home Depot, long a black hole of customer service is improving and increasing in value. I am not a HD shopper, but Ellison may make it a necessity by virtue of Lowes' extinction. However, no matter the damage he does, his stock options and cash bonuses will grow while Lowes withers. Very sad. read more

whomp whomp. I've been to a few different Lowe's and this one is not my favorite! I called to check if they had curtains in stock. The ones I found at the ridgemar location are no longer available online. I was put on hold, hung up on, put on hold, transferred to the wrong place. Its always amazes me when I shop at Lowe's in the fact that I can never get anyone to help me. I see employees but they do thier best to ignore you. This past Thursday was the worse. I spent $400 buying flowers and plants and really needed help. 1 guy was watering the cement the cashier on her cell another pushing plants around on a cart another hidding behind a shelf on his cell phone. Finally I loaded 3 large carts with plants pushed them 1 by 1 to the register paid and started to push my carts to my truck no help..finally another customer walked over and helped me to my truck...sad! This lowe's has literally the worst customer service. I was walking around for 25 min trying to find where to buy a nest thermostat. Nobody approached us. I finally asked 2 different employees where the thermostats were, which both of them gave me the wrong aisle. When I finally saw them in a cage behind the registers, they wouldn't open the cage to show me the product without some voucher-which was probably wherever the rest of the thermostats were(never figured that out). I know its black friday so i was expecting mass chaos and droves of people. However i was pleasantly suprised to find it wasnt crowded. My dad had sent me a photo of exactly what he wanted (this is a rare occurrence) and it was on sale. When i entered the store i tried to find the laser measurer that he wanted.... it wasnt long beforw i realized i needed help. This is when Lowes began losing stars. I asked a young man for help and showed him the pic from the sale add. He tlod me go to the front of the store and take a left its in tools. Thats all he said and turned around and walked the other direction. I proceeded to follow the directions given to me and found a lorge tool section but no laser measurer that matched the description. SO I asked another lady she did not actually say anything just turned and started walking. At first I thought she was walking away from me then she looked at me exasperated I hadnt known to follow her. She was also unsuccessful at finding the laser. So she asked a third employee whos response was we probably dont have them you should just order online. Never checking an inventory or anything. Finally an employee checked a computer and saw that they infact had several and helped me locate them. They were on the other side of the store from the original directions. I was very disappointed with Lowes today. I would have been much more understanding had it been swamped or 1 odd ball person but several employees were unhelpful and borderline rude. I was smiling and trying to be as friendly as possible but nothing could win over your employees. read more

Great staff that's always helpful. Always a good selection for our DIY projects. We purchased 3 kitchen appliances there, and ordered our kitchen counter top from Lowe's. The installers they used did and excellent job. There is a whole list of projects we have done in the past few years and are always satisfied with the products we've bought there, and if there have been any, their returns are alway easy and the respect they show the military is a blessing. read more

I would like to express my frustration and disappointment with your delivery notification/process. We purchased a refrigerator weeks ago and an email from Lowe's said that my delivery time frame was tomorrow from 8a-Noon. I arranged my whole day, as most people do when moving, to accommodate this delivery window. I set up internet hookup for the same time frame so that I could be at the new house in the morning and then go home and pack to move on Saturday. Imagine my confusion upon receiving a text message at 6:45 pm tonight, less than 24 hours before my delivery, that my delivery window is 12:45-4:45 pm. I call Lowe's and they tell me that they don't even deliver anymore, that it's a third party (side note, outsourcing customer facing entities is cheesy and typically doesn't end well), I call the third party and they are no help. I am at the mercy of some random people that I didn't even purchase the refrigerator from. Not a good feeling. But what choice do I have? I need the refrigerator. So now I get to sit at the house potentially the whole day, rather than packing and doing other things I need to be doing. Beyond disappointed. read more

One lady told me to get all these chemicals and products while the other one said no and get all of these... yadda yadda. This review is isn't based on customer service but on a potential employment opportunity there. My Mother is 70 years old and retired. She is college educated and has worked her entire life. She is very active, mows her lawn, gardens, she just recently painted the inside of her house. She is a very capable person. She applied for a cashier position at Lowe's and was offered the job. My Mom has Peripheral Neuropathy, which is when your nerves are dying. It can be very painful and because of that pain, she takes several different kinds of pain medication. She has a prescription for ALL of them. Because of this disease, she is also considered handicapped. My Mom was honest with Lowe's during the interview process about her medication. She went for a drug test, after the position was offered to her. Lowe's then called her a few days later and rescinded the offer. When she asked them why? They wouldn't give her a reason, surprise, surprise. My Mom doesn't drink, or take illegal drugs. She and I are fairly certain, they rescinded the offer because of her pain medication. Again, my Mother has a prescription for every single medication she takes. And is perfectly capable of performing a job, such as a cashier. She wasn't looking to become a forklift driver. She didn't even ask for special accommodations. I honestly feel like this is not only age discrimination but discrimination against a handicap person. Both of which, are illegal. This bothers me for two reasons. One, I don't appreciate my Mother or anyone for that matter, being treated like this. And two, I have been a very good customer of Lowe's for a long time. I would shop at the Bryant Irvin Lowe's, sometimes, twice in one weekend. My husband and I recently bought a new microwave from them. And were planning on buying a new stove and dishwasher as well. I am very disappointed in Lowe's. Going forward, I will drive a little further and take my business to Home Depot. read more

Lowes will not honor their extended warranty we purchased on our GE washer. I kept record of all the visits and follow ups from Accent Appliance, G.E. Factory Service and Tech Pro Plus. In the 10+ hours I have spent on the phone with multiple supervisors and Lowes corporate satisfaction, nobody will help me. There have been two buyouts requested that have been shut down because we do not "meet the requirements at this time". Lowe's only has recorded 3 services in which no parts were ordered. I have kept record of 7 services since April 15, 2016 and am waiting on the 8th service to be scheduled as parts have not come in yet. I kept a photo of three large boxes stacked 7 feet high containing washer parts for the large job G.E. Factory Appliance did for the September 15th service (which Lowes has no record of parts being ordered). I also posted on Lowe's rant or rave and my post was overlooked. The posts before and after received responses from the customer care team who e-mail people back, but mine did not receive any attention. I will be going to the store I purchased the washer and warranty from this evening as nobody else has been able to help me since April. read more

Please be aware of the is company and line of credit, i have been with them for 10 years and have always paid my bills from them and i can't even tell you how much i have spent with is company, but the keep lowering my credit every time i pay them off. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you are lucky enough to even get a person to help you over the phone, they are not capable of resolving any issues. I even tried contacting the Nation Customer Service number and they made me wait on the line while they waited to speak to a person at the store. I ordered a small patio set from Lowe's online. When it was delivered, one of the chairs had a manufacturer's defect and so i returned that chair to the store, asking for a replacement chair to be delivered.....and the circus began. Customer service at first said the whole set would have to be picked up and a whole new set delivered. Since that was not necessary, I refused, asking them again simply to replace the one chair. They kept telling me that was impossible and that the whole set would have to be returned.....until I asked for a refund and to just cancel the purchase altogether. Then suddenly they were on the phone with the Lowe's online store ordering the one replacement chair. However, after two weeks waiting when I had been told it would be delivered to be within the week I went to the store, the chair still has not arrived and I have called customer service every other day and they keep promising to deliver the chair. The next time I have to call them, they WILL cancel the whole order and give me a FULL refund. Customer service here is always put upon to have to interact with and unless management does something drastic to the employee attitude, I would NEVER shop there. read more

I've been remodeling my bathrooms and have special ordered items and 'bought out half the store' if you believe my husband! Lowes gives us a military discount in addition to special financing. I have never had trouble returning items or rescheduling delivery. The ladies in customer service have gone out of their way to help me when my contractor has a glitch and we need something faster or to be held for a few days. I can always find someone to give me info, advice or even load things in my car. Home Depot is closer but I go out of my way because of the great service at Lowes and now my husband won't shop any where else!! read more
