I had a great experience at Lowe's when purchasing a new washer and dryer. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and the employees were very helpful in making sure we found the right appliances for our needs. The staff answered our questions, helped us through the purchase, and made the experience easy and stress-free. The store was clean, organized, and had a great selection of appliances and other home improvement products. I really appreciated the great customer service and how simple they made such a big purchase. Lowes Do not do: Lowes uses Angi & was assigned Raul for plumbing of faucet installation-TOO LOOSE. Called Angi requested a different guy, appointment made for tightening. Same guy, Raul came back rude & argumentative that I had bought the wrong faucet. Finally when tightened it was as it should've been. He yelled from the kitchen while I was on phone several feet away, "Ma'am I'm done". I gave a thumbs up & told caller I had to go. I hung up & he quickly went out the door. Thinking I could wash dishes, I ran soap & the faucet had NO water- HE FORGOT TO TURN THE WATER BACK ON. I called Lowe's & Sherelle contacted Angi saying they could not come out per Vic on Angi & not able to get anyone to help & unsure of when. Sherelle contacted Lowe's Manager, Terri. The manager has no control of when or if Angi can come. Teri said could not refund the $175 for the installation job. Angi doesn't have any appointments until 3 or 4 days later per Terri. I asked for an URGENT APPOINTMENT to TURN MY WATER BACK ON, but denies her ability to do. Initially this should have been a simple visit for a modern faucet installation.... VERY FRUSTRATING & NOT HELPFUL. DO NOT DO INSTALL (s) at Lowe's that use Angi....NIGHTMARE! Lowe's won't help, because Angi is contracted to do work. Angi allows contractors to decide when & if they choose to help. Obviously, the OUTCOME is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, had 1/2 day to solve the issue & fix it but... both choose NOT To! read more

I went to the garden section and asked the sales associate to call someone for me, since she didn't know the answer to my question about bug spray for the yard, no one came. Delivery did not show up, no call just a message stating it was running late, called store to find out what was going on and when it was going to be delivered. Was lied to by customer service, transferred to a non working number, yeah this is not a store I would recommend to anyone. I called customer care to confirm yes I was lied to, and products had never even been on truck for delivery and will probably not be delivered the next day as no call placed to confirm delivery. Also website stated it would be delivered the next day and here it is 6 days after order and still no product, that is critical to house safety. read more

If you've ever wondered what Lowe's does with all of the people who fail employee training, drive out to Gallatin. Customer assistance is non existent. Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesday morning at 9:30, it doesn't matter. Try pressing a button in the lumber department for help and listen to the automated female voice beg for assistance until you're intoning along with her. Try this on a dozen different occasions over the course of a year. Ask someone for help and stand back while they hurt themselves trying to figure out how to pass the buck. The DMV is just down the road and Lowe's would be well served to swap their employees for whomever the DMV gets the most complaints about. Some schmuck at Lowe's HQ is trying to figure out why this store is the worst performing property north of Guadalajara and all it takes is asking someone to cut some carpet or to explain the difference between a 2x4 and a shovel to discover why the stoned, drooling illiterate 5th grade dropout at Walmart is more helpful. P.S. The old guy selling hot dogs out front is the best part of the experience, even if you find the smell of hot dogs revolting. read more

I just moved to Gallatin from Hendersonville last month. Spent over $2,500 at Lowes in a 3 day span once I bought my new home. I was looking for a specific mulch that I had been using on my home. WalMart had the mulch for $2.87 and Lowes had it for $5.97. I asked if they offered a price match because I didn't want to drive an extra twenty minutes to get it at WalMart (just being curious), it was like passing a law through congress. The initial response from their manager was basically to check WalMarts website. He didn't want to call them so he directed a service staff employee to do so. They claimed I had a different type and that it's not online at that price. Making a new resident feel stupid and not doing proper due diligence illustrated a sign of unconscious incompetence which according to Maslow is a low level of learning. I have since given all of my business to the Home Depot in Hendersonville and regret the AMEX card usage I had with Lowes coupled with my LAR account when I was a General Contractor. The attention and intention for servicing a customer, no matter how much they shop at your store, should be under careful consideration and better awareness. All of this over 8 bags of mulch and 30 minutes of laziness. read more

Every time I go into a Lowe's store I always have to ask for help because I never know where anything is at. I walked up to the paint section and asked the young boy with bright blue eyes for help finding my items. I think his name started with an A. Another awful experience at Gallatin Lowe's. I was in the appliance/ bathroom plumbing area for over 10 minutes waiting for someone- anyone- to help me with a purchase! Finally I went up to the CS (a joke/ they were talking among themselves) desk to see if they could page me someone to help me. Also the red button you push to get help was not working at the appliance dept. Finally got help- placed order and now get a call saying they can't come when promised! Lowe's is going downhill- and fast. Horrible service!! read more

Came here in the blinds section looking for customized blackout roller shades for our bonus room. Immediately helped by Morgan and another young lady. We came from Lowes Hendersonville with no luck. We were able to get an estimate, available options and discounts and we actually found what we're looking for and paid for it. It will be delivered in 2 weeks. Fantastic customer service. We've been here several times after being ignored in hville Lowe's. This is a little farther from where we live coming from hville but I will always drive here for something custom made or not readily available in shelves as people here are very helpful. Please do not waste your time going to hendersonville Lowe's. People there are lazy and rude, will throw empty boxes next to you while shopping. Didn't even ask what we're looking for or if we need help. I can go on and on from bad experience. We will always go here even though it's a couple miles farther.
