As Williams Sonoma's go, this one is right on par for quantity of selection. Plenty of options. Went in for a food scraper after exhausting more economical options with no luck. Went in, was immediately greeted and escorted to the display with not one but two different styles to chose from. A less expensive basic model, and a slightly more expensive fancy version. We went with the basic. What we were blown away with was the service. Retail service levels has been hit or miss for a long time. From helpful personnel, to ambivalence, to disdain for customers. Here it is a definite hit. Service was outstanding. Very helpful. Friendly. Seemed to really want to help without being overzealous or pushy. read more

The shady ripoff-artists at Williams-Sonoma took my money, the package never arrived, and they refused to either refund my money or send a replacement; instead I was lied to repeatedly by their useless "customer service". Stay away from these thieves! UPDATE: now they're trying to charge us a second time for the package that never arrived in the first place! This is an expensive purchase and the additional charge will put a strain on our finances. These thieves are absolute scum!!! read more

The staff here were rude and unhelpful. I have shopped at Williams Sonoma for years and have always had great customer service, until visiting the store in Green Hills, TN. I love this store!!! The employees are super sweet and helpful! They provided me with so much great information on my purchase of the 100th anniversary blue kitchen aid mixer that I'm in love with by the way lol! My three year old loves baking with mommy! This will be something that will last for years to come. Also my little one was not very happy in here this day and the ladies were so sweet to make him happy and turned everything all around. I received a gift from William Sonoma. I attempted to exchange/return/store credit the set. The first question I was asked was "when did you receive it". The store manager promptly informed me that they had a 30 day policy. I was 14 days past their policy. I explained a credit would be fine that I understood I could not receive money back. I clearly did not compute she was saying, in essence "too bad it's yours". I reiterated; credit, exchange, return? She literally shrugged her shoulders and said "nope". I stood there stunned. I told her it was terrible policy. She replied, "its not my policy, it's corporate's policy". To add insult to injury, I carried a glassware set thru a parking garage, up an escalator, in heels and was sweating. She never once apologized or even offered to bag or help me back out with the item. As someone who received a gift, how would I know the store policy? Oh, I guess I should have called.. why in this world would I think to call about return in a national retail chain after everyone extending policies over the last 2 years? Dream Girl and I were cruising Green Hills Mall and decided to go in and look around. She has bought things from there before, but I never have. In fact, till recently, I hadn't been in a kitchen store in years so I enjoyed looking around. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were told about the sale tables at the back of the store. Prices are high, but things look to be of good quality. I saw some attractive salt and pepper grinders that tempted me. Mine are tired to say the least - wedding presents of 55 years ago, I think! I didn't succumb this time, but maybe later. This is a good place if you want quality kitchen things. I have recently been in Sur La Table and Kitchen. All are nice; W-S seems to have a larger inventory. read more

This store was one of a couple stops on the wedding registry train. While the sales associates were helpful about setting up the registry, I feel like we could have done the same thing online and had better success. Once our information was entered in the computer, they were essentially done with us. The scanner kept locking up and it didn't seem like the sales associates were available to ask questions. The selection at this particular store wasn't that great. I wonder if maybe we caught them on a bad day? It just seemed the shelves were a bit empty and several things I went there specifically to register for weren't available. 3 stars because I do love Williams Sonoma, but... the registry experience here could have (and should have) been much better. read more

Store looks pretty, but the staff is untrained and shopping incentives are gone. Instead of saying hello, I was greeted with "are you looking for anything?". A quick trip around the store looking for the annual, complimentary Thanksgiving booklet which gives menu ideas and leads to purchases is gone and replaced with a cookbook you now have to purchase. This made me decide the three things I planned to purchase were no longer that important. As I waited for assistance, I found the manager's keys to the store laying on a table on the sales floor for anyone to take. When I did ask an associate about the the difference between two machines, he didn't know and neither did the two people he asked. in my most recent move, i found myself having to buy a lot of things. the things that people acquire over a lifetime, i've had to buy immediately. right now i'm looking for quality over quantity, and my search for cookware led me to two brands, one of which is sold here. i've visited this store a few times over the past couple months, with the experiences ranging from very, very good to "i wish this guy would leave the store". pretty lame, but it's whatever. the first time i came here, there was a girl that noted my uncomfortableness and answered every question i threw at her. she answered everything as a person, rather than a saleswoman and i really appreciated that. she hipped me to a few brands i didn't know about, i did my research and ended up coming back to pick up a few things from the store. there is a much better vibe here than the other place i did the majority of my browsing/buying from. someone told me bed, bath, and beyond was the place where all the guys come to buy stuff from after their women left them and it certainly felt like that in there. i know that last bit is totally inconsequential, but at least the people in there were happy to be there rather than pushing around a cart while shoegazing, lol. eric b read more

Had a great experience at this store all around. They were having a bake sale - we bought multiple items (lemon bars, lemon tarts, pecan pie bars, cookies) and they were all amazing! All of the associates we encountered were very friendly as well. While at the store we also sampled a pumpkin cream cheese dip. It was AMAZING. When the two pickiest people in my life both agreed that their sample was delicious I knew I needed the recipe. I was in a bit of a rush as I went to leave, but thought I saw a sign saying the recipe was on the website. I must have misread it because I could not find the recipe when I went to look later that evening. However, I commented on a Williams-Sonoma Instagram post that night and received a response very quickly. I provided the name and location of the store and the gentleman (William) was able to track the recipe down after calling the location to retrieve the recipe and email it to me. Cannot thank him enough for taking the time to do this. Superb customer service both at this particular location and especially from William in the social media department for the company. The staff aren't quite as welcoming or helpful as hoped, but it might just be the store itself... I have been to this ws a few times. I always have a different experience every time I go. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes I feel like they want me to leave. And sometimes (today) I feel invisible. When a sales person asks everyone around you (dressed nice or wearing expensive clothing) if they need help and pass you up, it makes you think that they pick who they help based on if they have money (or look like they do). I was there to purchase a $600 blender and had to seek someone out to help me. Once I got helped my experience was great. Everyone was friendly and nice. I bought the blender. Got it to my car and noticed that the seal on the packaging had been broken. Didn't think much of it because I've bought things like that and at a store where you can buy a $600 blender you expect everything to be new when you buy it. It it home, there are scratches on the blender, it's dirty, and it looks like someone took it out if the box and then threw everything back in the box without thinking of how it went back. On top of that, the blender container doesn't fit correctly on the base and it looks used. I am glad I work in the mall because if I didn't it would be a huge inconvenience to go back and deal with the traffic. Overall I am not happy with my experience and would not recommend this store. read more
