    Scratches that wouldn't come off.

    My wife purchased a Blackstone 36-inch Culinary griddle as a Father's Day gift and had it assembled by Lowes and delivered to our house. The assembly was terrible. I ended up having to fix most of it. To make matters worse it looked like the legs had been forced into position and because of this one of them was not set right and the detachable basket that attaches to the front of the grill did not completely lock in place so the basket never stayed on. Then when I went to use it I opened the lid and one of the screw holding it in place came out and the lid fell and scratched up my griddle. We called Lowes about it and we couldn't get any help over the phone so my wife took time out of her day and went down to the store. They told her they would send someone to come pick it up. They picked it up the next day which was Thursday and we didn't hear from them until Monday. They finally called us and said they're having a brand new one delivered to us the next day, which was Tuesday. I was home to receive it and when it came off of the truck I noticed it was already damaged. I am almost certain it wasn't damaged in the delivery truck because I saw how they had it stored in the truck before they took it off of the truck and it was wrapped up nice and tight with a huge moving blanket all around it to prevent it from getting scratched or messed up. I opened up the griddle lid when it was in my backyard and there was a large stain on it from some sticky substance that wouldn't come off with soap and water. The front basket was all scratched up and it was scratched all over on the actual grill. It looked like someone had returned this grill and they just passed it on to me. Upset I went back to Lowes and spoke to someone named Chris the same day we received the new one. He told me the Blackstone model we purchased was updated and there's a new model number. He told me they didn't have anymore of the model we purchased but if I was ok with it he'll just have them build one of the new models and dropped off to our house the next day, Wednesday. I said sure. It was the same item at the same price with minor changes. Wednesday morning they came and picked up the second damaged Blackstone. Around 4PM Wednesday we called Lowes because we hadn't received a phone call saying when they we're going to drop off the new replacement. My wife said they were very rude on the phone and finally someone named Angel spoke to her who was also very rude and basically told her he doesn't know anything about it and he'll talk to delivery tomorrow (Thursday) and call us back. He did not call us back. I went back down to the store for a third time now to find out what's going on. I stood there and waited while the returns employee called for a manager. No one came. Finally one was walking by and she lady at the front stopped her to help me, her name was Tisheka. Disinterested she helped me. I told her what was going on and she left to the back and spent 20 minutes there without telling me anything or letting me know what was going on. Tisheka comes back and tells me since it's a new model number they have to refund the money to us and we need to purchase the item again. Why wasn't this said when I went to the store two days before? I asked her when they would be able to deliver the new one to me and she said she won't know until we purchase it again. I call my wife who is now irate and told her what was going on. It was a gift, she didn't want me to know how much she spent, she didn't want me to have to deal with this so she was very upset. Even worse was since my wife wasn't there they first told me they couldn't refund the money to us without the original card present. I told them she was on her way somewhere else and couldn't go there now so they found a way to refund the money to the credit card she used and gave me the receipt, showing me how much my wife spent on my gift. Now the next problem we have is since my wife isn't there she has to call and give Tisheka the credit card information she used to purchase the griddle the first time. I call my wife to tell her all of this and during that time Tisheka becomes busy doing something else and now I'm being told I need to wait 10-15 minutes for her to finish so she can help me. I told them I can't wait because I have somewhere I need to be so they took my number down and said Tisheka would call me. She did not call me. No one throughout this ordeal showed interest in wanting to solve our problem throughout this entire ordeal and we dealt with rude employees and attitudes throughout. No one has tried to make this right. Everyone has treated us like a nuisance and acted like this was someone else's problem. This store doesn't not care about their customers or their reputation. 3 times we had to go down to the store and now we're told we have to do the entire purchasing process all over again.

    We are in the process of doing some updates to our home, so I have found myself visiting Lowe's frequently these days. This was my first visit to the Lowe's in this particular location which is in Homestead, Florida. The store was extremely well organized, pretty much the way that all Lowe's are, what set this store apart was the service that I received in the flooring department. There was a young man by the name of Denzel that helped my husband and I sort through many boxes of this specific tile that we were looking for. This young man went above and beyond his work duties to assist us, he was curious and very patient. I want to make this review public because I know how valuable it is to have an employee that is there to assist customers when they are in need. Thank you so much for hiring good quality workers! In particular this young man named Denzel in your flooring department.

    I was just in the store to return a light kit and to purchase a ceiling fan. I went to customer service and I originally spoke with Camille and she told me she could not take back the kit because I didn't have the receipt. I asked to speak to a manager and I went back to get the fan while I was waiting that I needed and when I got back a manager by the name of Tisheka had come to customer service to speak with me. I told her what my issue was and that I needed to purchase a whole fan not the light kit. She told me they could only offer me a store credit. I said that's fine cause I'm buying this other fan now anyways. I'd like to add that ceiling fan kit was never opened. The manager Tisheka turned to Camille and told her to give this KAREN A STORE CREDIT. I CONTINUE TO TALK WITH THE STORE MANAGER WHILE CAMILLE WAS RUNNING THE STORE CREDIT. It did take me a moment to realize that this manager had just called me a Karen I asked her what gives you the right to speak to me like that or to speak about me like that she was laughing and so was Camille How does or any level of management put people in authority positions that talk to customers like this I voice my opinion in regards to how bad customer service has gotten at the store. The manager replied to me. Why do you come here if you don't like the customer service. I replied to her by stating why would you as a manager talk to me like this? She said well it's just my opinion, but if you don't like the way, we do business here why even come here? I would've walked out of the store and never come in there again if it hadn't been for the fact that I had already purchased two fans like the one I'm purchasing today and I needed a third one for the same room it is definitely my intentions from this moment on to never do business with Lowe's ever again. And it will become my quest to tell all family members friends and anybody else that will listen just how horrible the people at this store will treat you and have treated me. Now I would like to finish this with stating something nice. I went over to the regular cashier line and checked out with a nice young lady name Isabel. She was very helpful and professional.

    In December of 2020, I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and warranty from Lowes. Fast Forward 2 months ago, I noticed cracks in the back panel of the refrigerator and side panels. A technician came out and said he could provide tape and if I did not like his recommendation I could reach out to Assurant ( the warranty company). IMAGINE PAYING ALMOST 2000.00 FOR A REFRIGERATOR AND THEN BEING TOLD TO TAPE IT INSIDE!!! I reached out and they were no help either. They scheduled 2 separate appointments  and both times it was a no show, causing me to loose 8 hours in PTO time at work. I contacted the Store and spoke to Albert, Carmen and Jorge. Albert ( The store Manager) stated he was going on vacation and Carmen would look into the matter. Carmen reached out to me for the work order, which  I emailed on March 30.  Ten days passed  with no response. Finally, I reached out and   She said stated the  email was not received. At this point I was furious.. If you never received the email Why didnt you call me back to inform me of that. This woman from day one  did absolutely nothing to assist me. In fact she was so rude even to the point of calling my wife  "loco" in spanish to Jose. She called her out on it and instead of apologizing she said "well you are crazy because you told Jose you did not want to speak to me again"  As an African American to be called Crazy by a manager at Lowes was very insulting. Is this who they have representing their brand?  I asked to speak to Albert but each time I was told he was busy. Then Jose picks up the call and I have to explain everything to him and his conclusion was to give me a 35% discount because no one else has complained about this type of problem. Why would I purchase anything else from Lowes when they don't honor their warranty. I have attached not one but multiple complaints by various consumers who have had the same experience with this Refrigerator with Lowes. Lowes continues to sell brands to consumers who do not support their products. Lowes continues to sell warranties and not honor them. Lowes continues to mislead consumers. Something needs to be done about this immediately!  I want this investigated right away. I also want the management team at Lowes looked into under the direction of Albert.

    Horrible customer service. Half an hour to find an employee and once you find one they act like they are busy plus terrible attitude.

    Came to Lowe's to buy a vanity and tile can't get help in either department. Manager on duty is worthless . The store running on its own.

I bought 10 gallons of roof paint and ended up not needing them. I'll admit I'm terrible with receipts and did not have one. I bought the paint on customer appreciation day ironically. So I knew the day I bought it. The could not look up my receipt I was told. Ok. I have a local bank record showing I bought it with date etc. No receipts, no return I was told. They gave me and anyone else thar day a discount and I was told the regular price was the same as the day I bought. I won't be shopping at Berrys Paint anymore, and I will encourage all my friends to patronize Sherwin Williams from here on out. No wonder home depot and Lowes put everyone outta business, they have a pretty good return policy. Over 200 bucks is no joke to just forfeit. One angry and dissatisfied customer. ps. The paint even had the shipping label on it with Berry Paints adress.

    Great place to take care of your painting needs. I have come here in the past...originally only…read morecoming because the old owner to my new home painted two of the rooms in my house with a blue paint he got from here. I was worried then I would not be able to find the exact coat of paint because it was a beautiful shade of blue. All I had to do was to give the address and they found it in their system. That's cool....their ability to have a record of the type of paint you use just by looking up name and address is a great idea. Whenever I had gone to Lowes or Home Depot I always had the hardest time remembering what was the name of the coat of paint I had to use in the past and to get a close approximation I had to take a sample I scrapped from my wall. Since then I come whenever I need to get paint to do touch ups on my house. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
