Paul is the rudest manager/employee I have ever encountered at Lowe's or any hardware store. I did not directly interact with him, I overheard him being extremely rude to another customer. The customer had brought in a pipe they bought earlier to get cut down and threaded. The store messed up the cut, and when the customer asked for a refund for the product Paul became extremely rude sniding the customer "dO yOu HaVE a ReceIPt!?" This made the customer notibly annoyed, and then Paul began getting more irritable and sniding the customer even more "why are you getting angry with me, sounds like you are distraught" in a sarcastic and very rude way. This was the most blatant disrespect of a customer I have ever experienced. This is unacceptable for staff to behave like this towards customers. read more

I was surprised to see that they have some patio furniture. There were a few options in the showroom. That was one thing that we needed. We peeked at the washers and dryers. Most recently, my wife and I went into purchase products for an exterior balcony job. We worked with Andrew at the contractor special order desk. First time coming to this location. Very neat and organized. I came to pick up my complimentary puppy plushy and small bucket. It was super cute. I also checked out some paint samples and indoor lighting fixtures to upgrade mu current one. Prices are decent and comparable to Hoel Depot. Lots of staff here to he'll you find what you need. There's also an outdoor garden area and today they were demonstrating their new grills and new seasonings. Got a few sample bites of sausages as well. read more

I love the people that work the Lake Elsinore garden department. They are always friendly, knowledgeable and have a great selection of plants. If I am not feeding the bees or birds I am always trying to help mother nature with her babies. My latest endeavor is helping saving the Monarch Butterflies. The employee was so helpful and very knowledgeable on Monarch and pointed me to the milkweed. Today I went back for more plants to accommodate all the baby caterpillars I have. Dustin helped me today and again the employee was so helpful. He even helped me to my car and loaded everything for me. Amazing customer service. read more

I've been coming back to the store for two weeks trying to buy the boards and get them cut, but the saw is not working and nobody can get it to work. I mean, what the hell? Ordered a microwave which was in stock for pick up but I chose to use the install service. This pushed it out a week. But, after several days waiting for a call from the installer, as my order showed a week from order for the install. Called Lowe's told installers don't answer phones on weekend and the day it was to be installed Lowe's help number said they had nothing do do with install had to wait for a call which hadn't happened and not sure when it would, just an idea how online orders are handled. read more

This store overall was good shopping with quality products. I went there to find citrus trees and other fruit bearing plants. I was able to find what I was looking for and they were good prices in my opinion. They do have Apple Pay and the option to tap. They also have affirm/credit option. The store was organized and clean. What I did not like is having to look for help in the store. Associates were visible but weren't checking to see if you needed anything so I felt bad interrupting multiple ppl with questions. At checkout I had a plant that wouldn't scan however the price was still visible on the label. I had to leave the plant because the associate attempted to look it up, when she didn't find it there was an awkwardness and then I just said I will leave it and she said ok and took it away. I would've appreciated if she would have attempted to find it, ask someone in garden to grab another one or something. I asked a different associate about strawberry plants because I couldn't find them and while he was very nice he just pointed in the direction they should be and said if not there then they are outside. I would've appreciated someone going with me as it was dark & there was a random man (clearly a drug user, I know it from working ER settings) sitting in their UTV right at the store entrance attempting to stop me on the way in and again on the way out. I even reported inside the store before I left that he was out there in hopes they would tell him move from the store or leave customers alone. read more

We went through Lowe's (Lake Elsinore and Menifee) to purchase two French doors and two windows, spending about $15,000, which included installation by one of their vendors, Window Fits. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. It has been nearly three months since our purchase, and we've had four appointments scheduled, each canceled because of repeated mistakes. They've either ordered the wrong windows or incorrect sizes, and one of the French doors and the windows did not match the other. The measurements have been wrong multiple times. Each time we've arranged to be home for these installations, taking time off work, only to receive a last-minute call on the day of the appointment to tell us something else has gone wrong. We are beyond frustrated and have finally demanded a refund. If you're considering going through Lowe's for custom windows or doors, think twice--or better yet, take my word for it: don't. 1 star. I'm so disappointed with the customer service at Lowe's. My father came to order a new dryer because our old one wasn't working. Our house runs off of propane so a specific conversion kit was bought and it had to be put on. Plus, he paid for them to haul the old dryer away. We were told 30 days will be given for the installation. So he waited 2 weeks before he called to get an update. They told him the dryer was done & it would be installed within the week. The contractor showed up, told me he wasn't going to take the old dryer and that he couldn't install his new one because he didn't have the proper parts. Lowe's then told my dad they installed the wrong conversion kit and HE had to go pick up the correct one. They did this to him twice. Then when he tried to confront them on the phone he was put on hold and tossed to different departments. He finally went in and they were still no help. THIS IS WHY WE BUY LOCAL. Corporate does not care about you as a consumer. They just want your money. I walked into Lowe's 12 months ago excited to be getting the kitchen off my dreams. Why Lowe's? Because I thought that a big company would give me protection against being ripped off. Well I was wrong. My kitchen install that began in January, just finished in August. I was made promise after promise that I would be compensated for the unprofessional sloppy work done by their contractors. I was promised time after time that Lowe's would make it right and that customer satisfaction was the highest priority. I paid $30,000 up front for my kitchen, because they require it, not including the counters. I now have a damaged kitchen that they cannot even fix and as far as getting my money back. I was offered 10% which if I accept would void my one year warranty. So in other words, theyre making me pay for my warranty. Worst company ever! They don't care one bit about their customers. I was in Lake Elsinore working and had just driven hundreds of miles, got to the hotel at 1:00 AM and I realize I forgot my roller cart that I need to carry 120 tablet computers that I use in my work. My appointment was at 8 AM that morning. I went online to Lowe's and ordered a cart to be picked up at 6 AM when the store opened. When I got there, they had the item waiting for me but unfortunately, and I freaked out...it needed to be assembled. Horrible customer service. We have spent close to $750 at Lowe's in the past 2 weeks and most recently bought new vanity for our bathroom remodel. We ordered the vanity online as it was not available for pickup at our nearest store (Temecula). When it arrived, there was a note for the delivery crew that asked if sending the floor model is ok.... why would it be up to them? So I call customer service and they instruct me to take it back to ANY Lowe's and have it exchanged ... fair enough. The closest Lowe's to us was in lake Elsinore, about 20 min up the freeway from where I live. From the minute my girlfriend and I approached the returns desk, a Hispanic woman with heavily applied make up and thick-rimmed glasses had a terrible attitude and should not work in customer service. She had zero empathy for her customers. I stated in the beginning we ordered it online, it arrived damaged, and we were instructed to exchange it here because you have 3 in stock. She called an assistant manager over the walkie then told me that he said he would exchange it but the rules are you need to exchange it at the store you bought it... she just HAD to be right and get the last word in. To top it all off, we wait close to 40 min in the loading zone for our new vanity to get brought out without a single, "thanks for being patient" or "just about 5 more minutes, we are pulling it down from the top shelf." Which is what ended up happening. Finally in the end these 2 kids I'd never let my daughter near, came out and said "alright so are you good?" SERIOUSLY!?? It took me getting out of my car, irritated, for them to realize they should probably earn their paycheck and put my item in the car. Where do I begin? I wish I could leave 0 stars because this store is horrible. No carts to begin with, then we were told they didn't carry hex screws. Really?!? The employee told me and my husband that we had to buy a vent plate to get the screws we needed. Totally false because after about 10 minutes of searching ourselves, we found exactly what we needed. His convo about the Dodgers went on without interruption though, which is a plus for him. We then went looking for Citrus Oil and a fireplace key. My husband had to interrupt an employee on a personal cell phone call to ask for assistance. We were met with complete attitude from him and another lady working in the garden department. There were not helpful at all and acted as if they hated life. On to the search for a fireplace key. We were told they don't sell them. Really??? I looked online and it said they had 10 in stock, so we asked someone else where we might find them because we had walked about 5 miles at this point already. The employee told us they probably don't have them out and that we might find them on isle 28 on the complete other side of the store. He didn't offer any more assistance...just pointed and shooed is on our way. I finally found them, not on isle 28. That's not all...we were checking out and one of the cashiers walked past the check stand and knocked over a stack of hand baskets, rolled her eyes and continued on her way. Our checker, Ruby, apologized and was honestly the only person that had a smile in the entire store. Not one employee asked if we needed help with anything even though we looked lost the entire time we were there. We are new homeowners and received a few coupons in the mail so we figured we'd use them but after yesterday, 10% and 20% isn't worth shipping here. I'd rather pay more at Home Depot than be treated like shit and not helped. I will be contacting corporate about the lovely employee who decided to knock the hand baskets over. Review for FLOORING: The whole process of getting wood and tile has been an absolute nightmare. If I could do this over again I would buy my supplies and installation literally ANYWHERE other than here. Eric sold us the wood and tile and seemed super knowledgeable. Well, the Lowe's tile installer (nice guy, Jason) shows up and it turns out Eric never sold us GROUT. What??? How do you install tile without grout?? (Spoiler alert: You can't). ALSO, the tile trim pieces we selected were not here, and Jason could not install without them, otherwise the cut tile pieces would be wrong. Turns out the tile trim pieces we purchased from Eric were out of stock. Rather than inform us of this, and ask us to choose another tile trim piece, they just didn't deliver us the trim. Several days later, I am still sitting here with no tile. For wood: The installers are here today (Jesse and team, very nice) prepping the floors. They inform us that Lowe's did not include our downstairs bedroom or garage stairs in the diagram, saying we did not pay them for these rooms. Not only that, but Jesse can't install the wood even if he wanted to, because Lowe's DID NOT DELIVER ENOUGH WOOD last week. The downstairs bedroom is on our original purchase order with Eric. Another way Eric messed up. For store: When calling the Lowe's store, you get either Eric, who is incompetent, or Steven, who had my file right in front of him and was telling me about missing trim pieces for my vinyl flooring that began installation a few days ago...spoiler alert...I got laminate flooring and it had not been installed yet. He was mixing me up with another customer with my file right in front of him. I asked him the tile trim piece dimensions, and he said he didn't know, but "probably was standard size." That's just great news from someone who is allegedly a flooring expert and has my file IN FRONT OF HIM. For laundry machine installation: The Lowe's installer showed up and installed my new washer and told me it was ready to go. I ran a load. The washer machine installation expert DID NOT ATTACH THE INTAKE HOSE TO THE PIPE. So I started a load of laundry, and immediately flooded the story of my house as well as my garage below the laundry room (water pouring on top of my ELECTRICAL gym equipment). The following week, a Lowe's restoration expert came out to make sure the gym equipment still worked and there was no mold or water damage from the failed washer machine installation (luckily everything checked out). I will never ever purchase Lowe's services again and I am telling everyone I know to stay far, far away. read more

Went in a couple of weeks ago to buy a pull down blind for my patio and for a couple other things...my bf and the kids and I were in the electrical aisle and needed an electrical hose to be open and cut. The man working there was super friendly and helpful! Wish I would've gotten his name. He interacted with my daughter and asked for her help to hold the measuring tape for him as he measured where to cut the hose. My daughter had fun counting and being his assistant. He definitely went above and beyond to help and gave us a great shopping experience!
