If I could leave less than 1 star ... I would. We went in to order kitchen cabinets with all of the appliance sizes and the kitchen dimensions. The young man doing the kitchen plan was sweet and courteous and we thought all was well. Paid it all up and were told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the cabinets in...basically right before Christmas. And installed after. Cabinets came in a week late and the guys came to install the second week of January. As the guys were installing we noticed the sink cabinet was NOT for an apron sink. We had bought and and designed the kitchen with an apron sink. Secondly, the stove we bought was 36" wide and the space for the stove which was in a corner.... Was only made for 30". Lowes had all of this information. They had our plans. We looked over our plans which stated the proper size of the appliances. But the plan the installers had was wrong. We call Lowe's and make an appointment with the manager at a specific time. We even say " if the manager can't do it then please let us know".... Since we are in the middle of a renovation and the appt was mid afternoon. We clean up and head to Lowes at the specified time. After we get to Lowe's the assistant manager tells us the manager isn't available and since the guy who did the cabinets wasn't there (he was on vacation)...that it was our fault and they couldn't do anything. Nor would the store manager see us. My husband got very angry and says ... " I suppose we should get a lawyer since you won't do anything.. " and asst mgr replied ... yes!" Well after this helpful resource (I'm being facetious) decides to actually look at the paperwork and sees the plans she says "oh my... we will have to wait for ---- to get back from his vacay"... We head out and wait a few days longer. Store manager still in hiding. The guy comes back and admits it's his fault and the installers... We are told they will change out the cabinets and the installation for the stove. We are told they will rush it as fast as they can.... We wait. We wait. We call. We visit store. The guy who did the plans keeps apologizing and taking responsibility but the Lowes won't. We keep waiting. Manager is still hiding. Finally in early March the cabinet is in and we pick it up. It took them from early November to March to get all the cabinets and we had to redo some things to make it work ourselves because they would not. In closing this Lowes has the very worst customer service and the best service we had was from the fellow who made the plans. Manager never called, never emailed and never tried to even touch base. read more

Check the plugs before you buy! I bought a hanging lamp. When I got home I got it sent up and everything only to see the plug is missing! They cut the plug off! This is ridiculous. Low and bad quality! read more

I bought a refrigerator on April 1st 2020 and bought the extended 5 year warranty after the sales associate made sure they had it in stock. They had 1 left. I paid and was told that I would get a phone call later in the evening to tell me what time it will be delivered. I got a call sometime after 5 PM to confirm it will be delivered between 11:30 and 4:30pm. April 2and 4:47 I am weighting this review because I called the store to find that someone at the store cancelled my order and they are mailing me my money on a gift card. March 29 . Looking for planter hangers online and only Lowes had what I wanted. The website gave the number in stock and the aisle, etc. What could go wrong? Lol. This is Lowes. The lone employee - the cashier - in the garden center told me they were on the side wall. After looking without success for the aisle, etc., I went back to him, but he was stumped. I've invested about 15 minutes so far. I then found another employee who figured out that the items weren't outside but inside. He then lead us to them. I thanked him profusely and went in search of a cahier. There was only one, like yesterday, and a long line - see photos. ZERO stars. Never buy an appliance from this store. After two months of dealing with a brand new dishwasher, damaged upon installation, there is still no solution. The manager of appliances at this store, Carlos, tells customers what they want to hear, but does nothing to actually resolve the issue. Last communication Carlos stated a new dishwasher would be ordered and instead put in a work order to have the same broken appliance uninstalled and reinstalled; total incompetence! We went through the Lowe's "process" and have had four different technicians out. All of whom inspected the dishwasher and determined it was broken upon install. We have had to miss work 5 times total with their "process" due to the 1-5pm window given with each stranger coming into the house. When you pay in full for an appliance and it's damaged upon THEIR installation where is customer service??? Still waiting to hear from corporate. There are videos I'd include but only photos are selectable. Ridiculous! Will never spend money with such a despicable company again. Protect yourself and steer clear of Lowe's appliances!!!! read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen. They weren't able to sell me a certain item because I'm not a Pro Service Customer--when in fact I am. They assumed and never asked if I was. Then proceeded to still tell me no because this wasn't my "home store." Tried to make a payment on my Account- told they can't do that anymore and to do it online. Very unprofessional and RUDE! Lowes on n.98 is not very customer oriented. Ibuild swings and go there for my lumber. I askedabout changing out the 1 x4 8 ft pt almost three weeks ago, there was about 20 left in the bin and they were total junk. I go there this morning, same 1x4s. I asked an employee about it and he said there were other complaints about the same wood. Management apparently don't want to change itout till its all sold, so I said i'll just go to home depot. Terrible customer service here! Ordered fencing online and pre paid for it. Went into the store to pick it up, showed them my order number and I was told by customer service that there was no fencing available. After some debate I was told they made a mistake and they did have my order. I was told to wait and someone would bring it out. There where multiple employees standing around the customer service desk just talking. Waited over 30 minutes and approached the customer service and asked where our order was. The lady looked confused and got on the phone. After she hung up, she told us it was down in the garden center. No one informed us it was there and we where never told to go there to pick it up. No organization, no care of customers. I strongly dislike Lowes as a company because they care nothing about hiring staff to assist customers. The flooring Department of this store is absolutely horrendous. Their installation people have caused me nothing but headaches since day one. First the installation team for my wood laminate came started the project and then had to cancel an order a bunch more of new wood laminate because somehow a lot of the wood had absorbed too much moisture and head bowed. Then the installation team for the carpet came to my home and turned around and left without notice because there were a few boards or wood laminate laying on the floor where they were supposed to lay carpet so instead of actually moving the wood laminate and doing their job they took off and then had somebody from the store call me to reschedule now my husband and I are supposed to move in our home on the 1st of June they could not have anybody come back to my home to install the carpet until June 1st. Then I go to my home today they have laid the carpet only the carpet they laid is not the carpet I chose!!!! So either the installation team grabbed the wrong carpet when they left the store or the man who filled out my paperwork who is supposed to be a quote-unquote manager wrote the wrong number and name of the actual carpet that I chose. I am absolutely livid and disgusted with not only this store but all of the members of the installation teams I cannot believe nobody caught any of these mistakes before either job was to be done. Now I will be going to the store tomorrow to find out if they're going to make this right and take out the carpet that they installed and put in the proper carpet that I actually ordered. read more

I started going to Lowes because service at Home Depot was severely lacking. My latest experience was horrendous, however. I picked out 2 items and the only lanes open for checkout were the self service (only one register working), which had a long line, and customer service. I waited over 5 minutes at the customer service register while the only person there helped someone at the service side (which is probably why everyone was using the self serve lane). I finally left without my purchase and went to Home Depot. There were plenty of people helping customers there. read more
