I had a terrible experience when I called Lowe's after purchasing a washer and dryer 1 1/2 years ago. I'm selling my home, only to discover by the inspector, that the Lowe's installers didn't install properly and left me with exposed wires behind my dryer. When I contacted Lowe's to explain the situation, they said their policy allows for 30 days to dispute installation issues. As a laymen, I wouldn't have known what to look for, in 30 days or 2 years. I put my trust in Lowe's to have their installers service Lowe's customers with the most professional work. After explaining to The Lowe's customer service agents on the phone, they said there is nothing that can be done. I am extremely disappointed in how Lowe's is handling this situation. I asked them to rectify their improper installation and send a service man out to correct the exposed wires that I was left with by their installers. The customer service agent and their escalation team refused to help. I asked for a corporate phone number and they gave me the same number that I found online listed as the Lowe's corporate phone number. That number directly connects to customer service? When I informed them that wasn't a corporate phone number, they said that is the only number they have. They are employees of Lowe's and they do not have a corporate phone number? Does anyone have a Corporate contact phone number for Lowe's? Has anyone had a similar experience with Lowe's installers? The fact I have to take the time to literally do TWO separate complaints about this specific Lowes is RIDICULOUS! I see this wood on the side of the building in the direct sun just bowing, twisting , cracking. So unnecessarily rude. I lug in this power washer and the minute I walk in the store, she says "do you have the box". Obviously I don't because it stopped working and it was just purchased a month ago. Of course I didn't know the return policy on a power washer, and neither did she working there, she had to look it up which took a few minutes. Then she looked so satisfied and said proudly, "oh there it is! can't return it anymore, nope it has to be returned within 48 hours" and smiled at me. I looked her straight in the eyes to see if there is any remnants of a human being in there not AI bot, however she says nope can't give store credit nothing. And that's it. I didn't have the energy to ask to talk to a manager even after purchasing a $200 power washer, and I have spent literally over $10,000 at this particular Lowe's within the last couple of years. Very disappointed. Normally Carl and his team are incredible, but this order had so many problems. I even went to the store after being on the phone all morning and spoke with Carl - Store Manager - said he would find a solution and call me in a few hours - a few hours turned into 7 hours and when I called he was at lunch. Still have not received a call and the delivery issue was still a problem. I suggest if you are ordering something and want it delivered on time and correctly - go pick it up and do not have any expectations with delivery service. Major appliances only have 2 days to return or exchange in their original packaging. Regardless of Lowe's delivery who hauled everything away. I bought a Samsung refrigerator which had a defective ice dispenser 1 week after setup and delivery. Lowe's will not honor their original worry free return. Just cited the store policy change. Here we are again, I forgot to remind myself that I wasn't going to purchase from Lowe's. Don't worry, I have my kids to remind me this time since it affected the whole family. We ordered a stackable washer/dryer for the laundry room. It was promised to be delivered on 2/21. On 2/20, I receive a call stating it's not actually in stock but it will be on 3/1 and I can have it delivered then. Ok 3/1- the unit is delivered and the delivery guys tell me that they cannot get the dusting hookups off and they need to be treated with a chemical and sit for 24 hours so they can come off without resulting in a bigger issue. They leave the new washer/dryer in the garage until it can be installed and hooked up. Ok 3/4- they come out for the 2nd time for a service call and the delivery guy asks me what I need. I tell him the new/washer dryer in the garage needs to be taken upstairs and hooked up. He looks at his partner and shakes his head, says to his partner in Spanish that this "isn't what they were expecting", and that "Im not prepared". Moving on, he asked me to show him the laundry room upstairs and continued to shake his head no. He and his partner went to the garage and retrieved the washer/dryer and as they were coming into the house through the front door, the unit is banging all over the door and the walls. I asked them to please be careful and considerate that this was something that someone else purchased. They stop in my doorway and look at the stairs to go up to the laundry room and continue to bang around the unit on the walls and door frame. I ask them to please stop again. At this point, my partner comes into the house because the banging is so loud and asks what's going in and tells then to stop and just put the item back in the garage if they were not prepared to do the job that was scheduled for them. He tells them to please put it back in the garage and he will just figure out how tondo it himself. The delivery guy then tells me that if they do not install it via Lowes, then our warranty is voided. At this point the delivery guy's partner is on the phone with who I can only assume is their dispatch and he told the person on the other line that he was on a "crazy house". At that point, my partner and I were done having our item banged around and then being disrespected in Spanish, not knowing we also speak it. End of the morning, they put it back in the garage. Called Lowe's dispatch 3/4 regarding what happened and they scheduled another hookup for 3/7. 3/7- once again, these guys were not prepared and had no idea that they would be moving the item from the garage to the laundry room. They started making excuses as to why they could not stating the landing was too tricky and they would damage the home and would not be liable and the only way I was getting it upstairs was if I waived liability. We called Lowe's and Lowe's delivery with about 3 managers on all 2 phones that we were using to call to get this fixed. 20 minutes later, the delivery guys have it upstairs and in the laundry room and nothing was damaged. Unbelievable, huh? After getting it upstairs, one guy tells me that the gas line is too short and they won't be able to hook that up. We tell them no problem, that's something we can fix and complete ourselves and ask that they just continue with the hookups and installation of everything else. 20 minutes later I see them pushing the unit out of the laundry room and into the hallway. Then they gather up their straps and I ask them, you're not finished are you. They respond no, we will be back. I took a phone call that came in and then I hear their truck leaving my home. My husband walks up to their truck and asks them what's going on and they say they are done. He tells them the unit is in the entire hallway; they refuse to answer him and drive off. I have called the store manager, Mario, and the Lowe's delivery manger, Debbie and it was all a disaster. I feel like they believe this level of service is ok and it's no longer their problem because they use 3rd party vendors for their delivery and install. The last time we had issues with Lowe's' for our door(s) installation, it was only because of the vendor and it was so bad--the Lowe's store manager stated he would refund me part of my $2500 order for doors because of the huge mess. Still haven't had a call back about that yet. Please! Please! Please! Do not buy or get things delivered from Lowe's. If you have to buy from Lowe's, install yourself. Their 3rd party vendors are not worth the headache and 3 days later of taking off from work. read more

after my house was broken into I had to replace my doors and made the mistake of going to Lowe's. they sent a salesman to my house who totally misrepresented the doors they offer and sold me two doors for $14,000 that were totally wrong for my house. After months of delays and lies, they finally scheduled installation and no one ever inspected the new doors until after they tore out my doors, forcing them to install the new doors that were riddled with defects and weren't even what I ordered. The installers had no choice, but to install them temporarily saying that they had to be replaced. The locks didn't work correctly, the glass was installed incorrectly, and they didn't have the correct locking systems. Everything about them was defective and cheap. Lowe's then proceeded to stall, delay, make excuses, and demand that I have the doors repaired instead of giving me a refund so I could get appropriate doors. This has been going on for a year and they do nothing but make broken promises and repeat the same demands. I've been lied to so many times I can't even count them and they are still refusing to refund my money despite the fact that multiple inspections by their experts declared the product to be totally defective and inappropriate. The doors were made by Therma-Tru who didn't even bother to inspect them before they were shipped. The best advice I could give anybody would be not to buy any doors made by this manufacturer or any doors sold by Lowe's. read more

This Lowe's is great all the workers I came across were all helpful and nice. I learned that they also have tax exempt for your company. The manager wasn't quite sure how to proceed with the application. He called someone with in the business and they talked him through the process. Once it was all added into the system the process was complete no need for you to remember your ID number it's just based off your phone number. It's amazing how much you can save with the Tax Exempt, especially if your buying bulk or remodeling a room in your home. Took more time than I wanted to in the store but at the end of the day employees were helpful highly recommend this location! read more

We purchased a patio French door for installation through Lowe's. Their contractor came and installed it on August 18. It was immediately apparent there was something wrong with it. The contractor left it with light coming through. We called back and the contractor says "yeah you need a new panel". We'll order one. Nothing. After about 20 calls to Lowe's they finally come back out and say "yeah you need a new panel." But the vendor won't send me one because they say nothing is wrong. People from Lowe's keep saying they'll be in touch but they don't. An "area supervisor" came out 5 days ago and swore he'd be in touch with me by the end of the day. Nothing. I WISH there was a ZERO star option! This is our second interaction with Lowe's regarding flooring and our order in the last 4 months (2 separate locations this one included). Our first order was delayed for a period of 3 weeks, then the order amount was wrong. 2 associates and 1 manager later mins you with nothing but a lack of urgency and not even an apology just fingers pointed we finally received our flooring. And now at this location our order was placed Jan 7th keep in mind the salesmen Gary is exactly that a salesmen who lacks the true value of what it is to take care of his customers aside from just selling them products. Now we come to March 4th our order that arrived already once through out that 2 months duration "damaged" of course is now again 2 days past our promised delivery date. On 10/20/2022 I arrived at HD and needed help with a microfine phillips head screw to check a battery in a switch. Daniel was in the Lighting section and offered his help. He took his time, paid careful attention to what was needed and fixed the switch, which required a special tool. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE IN THE FLOORING DEPARTMENT. RUN DONT WALK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I went to pick up backsplash tiles. I called the day before because I was unable to order online. The person I spoke to in flooring said to come in and they could order them from another store, with no problem. So that's what I planned to do. Gary in the flooring department was on the phone upon my arrival. There was one male customer ahead of me. Gary gets off phone and starts assisting male customer who is clearly going to take a while. Never acknowledges me, says "be right with you" or offers to call another associate. I see associates milling around but no one acknowledges me. Another male customer arrives. Suddenly an employee appears and helps him right away. I say something and the response I received was "oh I thought you were with that guy". You thought I was with some random man 30 feet away from me? Ok.... So another employee Joel starts to help me. He starts looking for the boxes of tiles the computer says they have in stock. He can't find them. Another employee Kobe arrives. Joel tells me Kobe should be able to find them. Joel takes a phone call and announces he is going to lunch. Kobe looks and cNg find them. I ask if they can just order from another store. I am told it will be $79. Huh???? I let Kobe know no one had mentioned that when I called the day before. He says "oh" and wanders off. Never to return. I leave and process what the hell just happened. I call the store and ask to speak to a manager (total Karen, I know). I speak to assistant manager Anthony who was apologetic and helpful. Said he has never heard of the $79 fee and that he would get them from another store. I explain my project is supposed to start the following week on Tuesday. No problem He says he will call me back in a few minutes. I wait several hours. I call back and he says we are all good they should be in Friday (it's Wednesday at this point). Ok, great. I get a call from Gary in flooring the next day to finalize everything. He says they'll be In Monday from another store. Ok, no problem. I try calling Monday to confirm they are there. Despite numerous attempts I get no answer. I finally talk to someone in customer service who said they'll go check in receiving and call me right back. Well, that never happened. Today I go in to pick up my items. My friends Gary, Joel and Kobe are at the desk. They ask my info. Joel disappears. And now suddenly Gary needs to go to lunch. So poor Kobe is left with me again. He goes back to receiving twice and guess what?!.... NO TILES. He said they might come in today but not too sure (mind you they are somewhere in Las Vegas, not across the country). I ask to speak to a manager....again. Anthony is not there. They send in Jon from Receiving. Very nice and apologetic. Tells me the store in Summerlin has 129 of the item I need. Ok great I'll go pick them up. Kobe calls the Summerlin store and asks them to hold 50 for me. Perfect. Go to Summerlin store. THEY ARE HOLDING THE WRONG ITEM ENTIRELY at the direction of this store . Luckily they do have what I need but they have 49 not 50. I. Am. So. Done. read more
