I have an app for Lowes on my phone. It shows their EGO Battery at $199. I take the app to my local store and the lady behind the counter tells me she can't honor it as that's the "online price"... She tells me to order it online and then have it shipped to the store. You have this battery in stock. Your sale price before Friday is $199. Yet, I can't buy it there at the store. You're going to make me buy it online and have it shipped to the store today to then pick it up later? Yet, you have it in stock at your store. Are you insane!? She calls for a manager and not any show up. This must be the worst Lowes in history of League City, but probably not the only one. This store is Horrible for us customers. When will you be hiring smart people to understand that your sales ad is just that. Why do you have sales online if you're not going to honor that price in the store?? Another fail on the part of Lowe's where an employee didn't inform us of all the details and parts needed when he was helping us buy the Kobalt Industrial Shelving system currently on clearance Thankfully when we discovered the problem I was able to speak with Ethen, around 5:15 pm on the 8th April. Ethen listened to my frustration, then proceeded to resolve the issue by confirming the parts I needed were in stock after he checked the part number and assured it was the right one for the system we had. He proceeded to arrange for the correct number of parts to be placed behind self checkout with my name on the label. Were it not for Ethen the manager and I would have had another difficult conversation about customer service and the lack thereof. However this is absolutely a Lowe's corporate problem. It's allowing customer service to suffer at the cost of paying employees a wage that would encourage the staff we need to have in the building. It manages clearances at the ultimate end of caveat emptor; setting stores up with different colored price tags on the rack without explaining which colors identity something being regular priced, sale prices or clearance priced. There isn't any clear marking on things that are on clearance and not to be restocked. Lowes therefore needs to step up its transparency in sell price standards as well as pay its staff an equitable amount. Otherwise we customers will go elsewhere. Holy shit. Line to check out is backed up to the middle of the isle with only 2-self checkouts open but 7-people standing around doing nothing but bullshitting with each other and one person counting everyone's purchases and not doing a FKN THING to help. Look I'm not at all the biggest "self checkout" person and prefer for someone to actually check out my items but also appreciate the efficiency self checkout provides using 1 person over 4 scanners, but when people are trying to hurry and get out of the way for the next person because it's backed up, when there's a lot of noise, and people continually asking for assistance; we don't notice if something *beeps* when it's scanned or not; hey we all make mistakes and if it's noticed we apologize and rescan. But these "EMPLOYEES" that are just standing around with their thumbs up their butt need to start scanning shit if they are THAT worried about people stealing because this was utter chaos and they were doing NOTHING to assist except be jerk offs. Also there is absolutely NO NEED for people to just start taking shit out of your basket while you're trying to pay for 30-something-items because it was accidentally missed (I bought 6 of the same item but only 4 scanned which is what started this entire rant) so they just started taking shit out while I was trying to pay instead of saying "hey man the qty is off, only see 4 here instead of 6." When that happened I finally confronted one of the dipshits and asked if they were actually going to do their job and start checking out people in another isle or just dictate the people that don't work there. Seems like they have the personnel to have good customer service; just not the common sense or give a damn for it. Final note, your shoppers DONT WORK AT LOWES! Have your employees do their fkn jobs instead of just staring at people!!! Also, give the girl that walks around selling gutters something else to do. We usually don't shop here but our experience in this location has been okay. The job gets done if my husband I need to buy something. We just had an issue getting our dryer delivered because the person delivering it which we think was a third party contractor picked up a washer instead of the dryer. I did talk to the manager and they tracked what was going on by looking at the camera footages. It eventually got resolved after a week and we were just glad that we got our washer and dryer even after it was delayed. Overall, I am grateful that their staff were very helpful but docking 1 star because this store may need better third party delivery contractors. read more

I called the paint area 4 times and kept getting sent to the front desk area because no one would answer, so I drove up to the location and spent over 15 minutes waiting for someone in the paint section. When someone finally stops to help me they couldn't do what I need them to do which is fine because if you can't do it then you can't but if they answered any of my 4 calls earlier I would have not wasted so much of my time.... Anyone can help you if there are no issues with a sales. The real professionals in retail sales are the ones that can quickly fix a problem when one arises instead of floundering or making excuses. They track your issue to a satisfactory closure keeping the customer completely informed along the way. I'm thrilled I had this experience, even though some of the issues were my fault. I would shop again with Lowe's appliance department in League City even though it's not close to my home! I took advantage of the end of year holiday sales and bought a full set of much needed major kitchen appliances plus a stacking washer and dryer from another Lowe's. The League City store called to say they were handling the shipping to my home near the downtown Houston since they had most of the items in stock. I took advantage of the free shipping offered by Lowe's and had the items delivered 40 miles away. Unfortunately, supply chain issues and the holiday sales period caused several items to be out of stock at the time of the planned delivery. I was allowed to upgrade both the washer and dryer to a better model of LG washer without additional charges ($200 savings) since the initial washer I chose would not be available for a few weeks! The upgraded washer and dryer were delivered Christmas Eve to find out I ordered a gas dryer when I needed an electric dryer in my new home! Several Lowes employees in both the delivery department, the distribution warehouse and the League City Lowes appliance (Brett, Sandra, Gabby) helped me to get a replacement dryer. Brett was extremely helpful to ensure the refrigerator, range and replacement dryer were delivered early in the day on Dec. 26th! They even allowed me to get the floor demo model of the fridge I wanted that was out of stock. The floor model was in pristine condition, fully warranted and much sought after! I was impressed with their plant selection and quality, we ended up buying some tomatoes & brussels sprouts to add to our collection. This is about the people who come to install your purchase. The 1st time was told "we just deliver" total lie they were supposed to get the install done . Almost ran me over when I tried to find out who to call. 2nd time they did not speak English and called me a "puta". refused to even hook up the power to my dryer. Would not take away the old dryer as they were contracted to. My advice is to have your own people do your install. J and D are the worst I can't understand how Lowe's could use such a low quality subcontractor!!! Because of my experience I will never shop at Lowe's again. I just came from Lowe's close to me. I left without getting what I needed. I needed something to cut stirs in wood and to stain the wood. I was helped in finding just the "color" stain but never did he give me the actual stain. I went bk and could "not find" any stain that shade or color?! If it was Lowe's in the same area, I would have had everything I needed and placed into my cart. This is my very last time giving Lowes my business. So very disappointing. So close but the final result was zero since I never found the stain!!! A terrible feeling this left me. -(an hour later)... I just came from Walmart to see if they had one of the items I was looking for and they didn't. BUT they had the stain color i needed, the clear gloss, and the paint brushes. Thank God! I am sure for a much lower price too than what Lowe's had to offer "if" I could find the products!!!! if they had the curtesy to find the items for me, this would have been a happy and not frustrated experience for me. This location is located on the Northeast corner of I-45 and FM 646 in the League City/Dickinson area. We probably shop at Home Depot (across the street) and Lowe's equally. It honestly depends on where we are and what else we have to do. From our home, Lowe's is slightly more convenient if we are trying to avoid traffic which is the only reason why we might go to one over the other. Some reviewers complain about customer service and the lack of help. Others complain about the long line at the return counter. I'll say this: I have had both good and not-so-good experiences here. Sometimes it is crowded and I may wait longer. Other times, I find it easy to get help and others I find it difficult. Let's be real honest...most of us are impatient and need to take a chill pill. Waiting a few more minutes to get help or return an item isn't going kill us. If you're in that big of a hurry, maybe you should come back on a day when you have more time. That way, I don't have to listen to you huff & puff behind me and voice your displeasure under your breath. And before you complain about my review, look at it again. I thought I made that clear to the gentleman answering the phone at the Pro Desk, who told me when he answered that I was calling a "private line" (I called the main Lowes store telephone number) and he was at lunch. He was trying to log into the computer and while he was doing that he kept telling me how great the Pro desk was and that he could not take a phone number if I did not have a Lowes card. I told him I was using a regular credit card and he said I couldn't do that because I was not a Pro Member. I said I was a Pro Member. He asked me what color my Pro card was. The lady in front of me was an employee trying to figure out how to get a discount on an item she purchased previously. I waited 10 minutes, nobody called up to help, nobody even acknowledged my existence. After the 10 minutes and two other people being called over to help with her issue, the lady trying to get her discount finally just tells them to help me out. I nodded my head and proceeded to tell the guy what I needed. She then yelled at me "you're welcome!" I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm not saying they shouldn't be helping her first just because she is an employee. None of that bothered me. But to be ignored and then be treated rudely by the staff is not acceptable. I ordered a shed in February. I was told it would 6-8 weeks before it could be built. After that time period came and went, I called to see what was going on. They claimed it was a city issue. I waited a little longer. Finally frustrated, I called Lowe's to cancel my order. After months of hearing nothing but lies from them, they told me I had 2 choices. Either go ahead with shed or if they gave me money back, they would charge a 20% re- stock fee. For something that I never received. I have talked to their corporate complaint line to no avail. An assistant territory manager called and told me that getting my money back would be no problem. When the manager from the store called me, she more or less called me a liar. The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. We own a local business and are building a new office. We went to this location and ordered over $5K of new appliances. The merchandise was never received. Lowe's uses a third party for their deliveries. The delivery driver claims he delivered our goods, but could not provide the name of the person it was delivered to. I spent three hours in Lowe's with an assistant manager requesting one of three things. 1. Provide the name of the person our goods were delivered to. or 2. Reissue the goods we never received or 3. Refund the transaction. They refused to do any of these. When I finally asked for the General Manager, he refused to come out of his office. Thankfully I used American Express for this transaction and they immediately issued credit. We have been in business in this area for over 40 years. A lowes as any other My only real issue with this one is that there are only 6 checkout registers and there are rarely more than two open even on busy days like Saturday. There are no self checkout registers either. So there tends to get to be a hit of a bottleneck at the registers. There is a Home Depot right across the street but coming from my house this is just easier to get to. Like I said though the lines can get a bit hectic here. I refuse to shop at Home Depot for a variety of reasons I won't go in to here. So, Lowe's is my preferred big box home improvement store. Yesterday I was at the 646 store and picked up the items I needed. One was a pack of drill bits on sale. After checking out and reading the receipt, I noticed the price I was charged for the sale item was the regular price, not the sale price. The difference was only about $5. The money is not the deal. My issue was the way I was treated by the clerk who checked me out and ultimately made the correction. She treated me like the error was my fault and I was a nuisance to request to be charged the correct amount. And then I started thinking....1) why was the sale price not keyed in to their system? 2) how many people check their receipts for accurate pricing to prevent themselves from being screwed? It appears to me Lowe's is systematically stealing from their customers and in my case, treating me like I was the criminal when I point it out. Not only did it take over an hour and a half to check out but then the washer and dryer did not arrive on the day scheduled. It was supposed to be delivered 1st thing Friday morning. My wife waited and waited. Lunch came and went. Her physical therapy session, which she missed, came and went. Still no delivery. Finally a call that they couldn't find a washer to deliver. So far I am having a horrible experience with Lowe's and Trinity Property Work (Lowe's Install Team). I've purchased two storm doors in the amount of $1800 a month ago and have yet had them installed. The install team originally came by about 3 weeks ago to install the doors only to say they had the wrong size for the front door. One of the gentlemen told me to speak with the owner of the company Oscar and I spoke with PJ who said she could help. She did have someone come back out to remeasure my doors and stated that they measured the doors correctly but that Lowe's ordered the wrong door (AGAIN NOT MY PROBLEM, Just get it fixed). After a couple of days PJ called me back to let me know Lowe's ordered the door and they would be coming in. Fast forward 3 and 1/2 weeks later no front door. I've called Lowe's and left the manger (Destin Hugg) TWO messages to call me back but no call back. I left a message with PJ yesterday and I'm still waiting. Was on hold for 6 minutes, 22 seconds and couldn't get a person to answer. 1411 hours Called Lowe's @ 281-412-6300. Spoke with Naomi who said I can't pay over the phone. That took 11 minutes, 25 seconds. 2145 hours Called 800-445-6937. Was told Naomi was wrong and they could order for me. The problem was that the dryer advertised on Lowes.com wasn't available. Why is it on the website if it can't be sold? This took 40 minutes, 23 seconds. 2231 hours Called 281-337-9770. Placed an order over the phone but the dryer may not be available for 6 weeks. This took 53 minutes, 53 seconds. 06/07 1949 hours Called 281-337-9770 to check on order. This took 14 minutes, 6 seconds. 06/09 0856 hours Called 281-337-9770 to check on order. This took 23 minutes, 45 seconds. The delivery team delivered the washer before the scheduled time frame. My daughter-in-law was at the store purchasing the hoses when they arrived early. We had to hook it up ourselves because they didn't come when promised. 06/12 XPO left a message stating that the dryer will be delivered on 06/13 between 1300-1500. In anticipation, my son pulled out the old dryer and moved it to the garage. 06/13 1046 hours Received a message from 281-337-9770 that the dryer won't be delivered that day. My son had to bring the old dryer back in and hook it up. 06/19 XPO calls and schedules delivery of the dryer on 06/20 between 1130-1330. 06/20 0900: Delivery driver calls and wants to bring the dryer now. No one was home to accept the delivery because we made plans to be there from 1130-1330. The driver said he was going to Galveston and he was nearby now. I reiterated that it was scheduled from 1130-1330. 1330 comes and goes, still no dryer. 1405 hours Called XPO to check on delivery. No change. This took 14 minutes, 47 seconds. 1705 hours Still no dryer. Called XPO . They said delivery window had changed to 1400-1600. I wasn't informed of this. 1800: Delivery team arrives. Said they were late because of the rain. They refused to unload the dryer because my son questioned them on why they were not there at the scheduled time. At the time they arrived, my son was taking a TIMED test. He had to stop taking the test to talk with the (non) delivery team. What is the point of the delivery window if they just show up when it is convenient for them? read more

Expectation: Monday: Order a washer and dryer combo online from the same store for a good price and have both the washer/dryer delivered on the same day. Installation was free, but I paid an extra $40 to have have the old ones hauled away. Reality: Thursday: I received a call from the delivery center advising me that I missed the delivery of my dryer because no one was home. There was no prior call with a delivery window prior to this day. I was told that they will re-deliver my dryer on Saturday. Friday: I received a call from a delivery driver, who told me that he was 45 mins away from my house with my washer. There was no delivery window call prior to this day. I was at work and luckily my wife was home from work with a sick kid. The delivery driver left the washer in my garage; he then told my wife he didn't have the "hook ups" for the washer and that the washer will be installed with the dryer when the dryer delivered on Saturday. Saturday: I waited until 3pm before I called the delivery center to check on the status on my dryer. I was told that the dryer was coming from another store across town and that the manager of that store canceled my delivery. There were no calls to me in reference to this cancellation. I called the Missouri City store and my call was dropped three separate times after being transferred around the store. I called the Lowes main customer service line and I was told that my dryer was not being delivered today (Saturday), because they did not have my dryer in stock at the Missouri City store. I then became belligerent and asked for a refund. I was told that I would get my dryer tomorrow (Sunday), guaranteed...to be continued. My Memorial Day Weekend is gone and I will never order anything from Lowes again. Update: After being told by Lowe's customer service that I would get my dryer delivered Sunday (guaranteed), I received a call from Lowes delivery Sunday morning. I was told that my delivery was being canceled because my location was too far away (over 75 miles). I contacted Lowe's costumer service and I told them that I no longer wanted to deal with them and that I would pick up the dryer myself. The customer service rep told me that she had the Lowe's that had my dryer in stock on the other line and that they will hold it there for me. I then drove 85 miles to pick up my dryer and waited 40 minutes before they told me that they could not find my dryer in the back. They offered to upgrade my dryer and after two hours they told me that they finally found my dryer and brought it to the front. The manager knocked $100 off the price of the dryer and i waited another 40 minutes for someone to help me load the dryer in my truck. Another customer then decided to help me load my dryer in my truck if I helped him load his item. We never saw anyone come up to the front to help load anything. The customer that helped me was having the same problems with Lowe's delivery. I drove home to remove my old washer and dryer and hooked up the new ones myself. I then dragged my old washer and dryer to the curb where they were quickly snapped up by a picker. Never ever order anything from Lowe's Home Improvement. read more

I recently placed a special order for tile.So I started receiving emails to come pick up my order shortly there after. 1st time the grout and spacers, second time just the bullnose tile, even though it said all was there, 3rd time went to pick up and they couldn't find it, said they would call when they found - never called, called them said it was on another truck heading there way - maybe- receives email went to pick up, not there, called 800 number, 45 minutes later said they found my order behind some stuff. I went to Lowes for flooring installation. They came out quickly to measure and collect 35 dollars. I never got a call back with the estimate. I have called the store's flooring department at least 10 times. No one answers the phone. I tried to reach a manager and was put on hold for eternity. read more
