My husband has implemented a new 'don't take your wife to Lowe's' policy after a recent visit may have resulted in many fun project planning adventures for me and not-so-fun diy projects for him. Our recent visit resulted in a new and luxurious dishwasher for me (happy early birthday after finding a lux Bosch floor model that includes features I don't understand but with a modern no-fingerprint exterior and a coveted third row with multiple settings that I have dreamed about for years). I tried to also leave with a new bathroom vanity, but fate wasn't on my side. Custom blinds are also now haunting my dreams but the sales person (who was wonderful in indulging my whims with their planning tool) scares me off with the final price tag. I had no idea blinds could cost more than a car! I did also encounter two unicorns - an actual stuffy for my puppy (who knew Lowe's had a pet section?) and a crazy affordable peel and stick wallpaper that screams Anthropologie but without the crazy cost. I am too scared to tackle peel and stick, but I am hoping my husband may tackle the challenge with the right encouragement (we've all watched the reels of all the interesting things you can find at Lowe's!). My only complaint is that I somehow lost two hours in a store and actually missed visiting the section I went in for (light fixtures). read more

I don't normally write reviews but Im not letting this go, my customers had to cancel their order because lowes is racist against Palestinian people. gave them the run around on items that were paid for and acted like they had no knowledge of any orders. Once the customer seen what was going on got the manager to cancel their order that supposedly didn't exist. if you don't shop with racist stay out of Lowe's read more

I ordered a dishwasher online and less than 2 weeks later it goes on sale, I called the customer service to see if I could get a price adjustment but they would only give one within 48 hours of order. Then to top it off the installer was very disrespectful of my house. He left a 3 foot scratch in my hardwood floor when removing the old dishwasher and then tried to say it was from my dog. He also let all the water from the old hose to drain out onto my floor and made no attempt to clean it up. I do not think I will ever have Lowes install anything in my house again. Home Depot is coming to our town soon. Looking forward to having another option. read more

Terrible customer service, their Frankfort location is much better, much less experienced staff

As a homeowner, I find it impossible not to visit Lowe's. I don't think I've ever stepped foot in Lowe's when I lived in an apartment. Since then, I've come to depend on Lowe's for appliance replacement, home maintenance, and other odds and ends. This location is very close to home and any time I have a repair or emergency, I can often find what I'm looking for here. I don't think they've ever been out-of-stock on the items that I truly needed. Once, when my hot water tank burst and flooded my house, the installation department was able to help replace and haul away the tank. Also, the employees are very helpful. If you look like you're lost and wandering the store, they often stop to make sure you are okay and will walk you to the item. That's great service. read more

I come here way more than I actually want to. It seems no matter how much planning I do for a project, i forget something or something goes wrong. I guess that is the story of every home improvement project. At least I can find almost everything I need here. The staff is usually helpful... assuming you can find one. Everything is generally in stock, which is important. HOWEVER if you are looking at flooring, make sure it say in stock, not special order. read more

They can't cut glass worth a nickel. The guy cutting it was super nice but didn't know how to cut the strip out that I needed even though it's 2 simple straight cuts. They've run the local hardware store out of business then don't have staff that can help when you need something. They've always had what I needed and even helped me fix my dogs wheelchair but twice tonight I've had to my go back to get a glass for my fish tank because they don't have someone who can cut out a 2"x3" square that's not the whole side of a pain of glass. read more

Update: 5/10/2021 The estimator ends up calling me at like 12:45 asking to see if he could take the estimate because he was free. THIS GUY WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HERE AT LIKE 2-5 P.M. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! HOLY CHIT! O_O Update: I ended up getting an automated text from the contractor Crume Installation this morning. This was approximately within 48 hours after I made the trip described below, to Lowe's. This method as been reliable so far. So far, this is exactly the response I was looking for. Hard to contact by phone because no one will pick up in the shower department. I had to go in person, but they will tack on $35 assessment fee for an independent contractor to reach out and take estimates. These estimates will then be used to find a replacement for, in this case, a shower door. They seem to have a guarantee? Maybe? That if you are not contacted within two days, to go back to Lowe's and they will try and resubmit. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL service. They hired an installation company with 2-3 star reviews and it's no wonder why. The company Crume Installations overbooked their tech the day of our Lowe's delivery, according to the tech. They gave us a window of 11-2, then didnt show up until 3. We had no one waiting because the person waiting needed to get on with their day and had waited for THREE HOURS with no communication from Lowes or Crume. We sent another person over to help and this company couldnt wait 10 minutes for that person to get over there after they were already late, now they're sending the appliance back to the store, we have to waste more of our time rescheduling, getting another person there. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! We have cancelled our applicance with Lowes and will NEVER use them again simply from this experience. We spent time coordinating this, time getting the guests out of the house for this to happen, time getting someone there to wait, and they dropped the ball on EVERY single step of it. read more

Ah Lowe's, will you all never get it together? Ever? All bathroom renovation items now won't be delivered until July 2nd, but they are there in the freaking store! Ordered and IN! Looks to me like Lowe's should be hiring some more delivery truck options in order to get past their backlog of deliveries( oh hey! Here's an idea, get a couple employees and one of your rental trucks to bring it the TWO miles to my home), but, hey, what do I know? Especially since we were TOLD we would have by today. I hate the fact that you serve your country and supposedly the business supports military with a discount. But not the case, the business treats us no different from just a regular discount card that everyone receives. My thing is if your business is supporting military woth a discount then offer it for everything and stop the hidden crap. read more

We have had bad customer service experience with this Lowe's. We started working on getting a storm door in June 2018. I had to call them after 2 weeks of someone taking measurements to find out that "the build out is too much" that they wouldn't be able to install a storm door. We go back in to get a COMPLETE door replacement. Someone came out to measure. 1 week goes by, and I have to call to follow-up. I had to go in to pick out the door that I wanted. I was told that they had to call the manufacturer about special measurements. Another week goes by before I had to call again. I go back into Lowe's to talk to ANOTHER person for him to "design" the door all over again and send an email to manufacturer. I never got a call back and gave up on Lowe's for the door and have ordered through Window World. Last week (Sunday), I went in to get a refrigerator. The rep in appliances told me it would be 7 days to have it delivered since they didn't have it in stock. Today (Monday 8 days later), they called to tell me that the fridge came in damaged, and it would be another week before I could get the replacement. I will not be purchasing from this Lowe's if I cannot get what I need off the shelf. I'm so disappointed with the unprofessional staff and lack of customer service. read more

We live here lately with all of the home projects going in right now. We have run into some really helpful people here. Bender in appliances was incredibly helpful. He used to build custom homes and was knowledgeable about other projects we had going on too. We will be back I'm sure. Maybe even this weekend. read more

I gave this Lowe's one star, I would give them no stars but I'm not able to do so, they have changed all their checkouts to self service, I expect customer service when I shop here, I expect to be checked out by a cashier, I had to go to the service Desk To be checked out by someone, had to wait 15 minutes for them to take a return from another party, the employee was multitasking she had to answer the phone, transfer calls, assist other clerks, all attempting to take care of the customer in front of her. I would give her 10 stars if I had the ability she did an outstanding job, but unless you're going to pay me at a minimum 10% discount I am not checking myself out, I do not work at Lowe's, I pay full price and expect full service, whoever made the decision for self checkouts should be fired, I'm sure no one cares about this post and nothing will be done about it but now I have expressed my views read more

I love this location. Very easy to get to, plenty of parking, and located right in the heart of Hamburg. I have shopped here for years, but have made several trips over the last few weeks as I remodel our bathroom. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They do a good job of asking questions to figure out exactly what you're trying to do, and then try to make suggestions of things you'll need to keep you from having to make another trip back. We bought a new set of appliances there in November. The associate helping us was a former contractor, and gave us a lot of good information to help us make the right selection. They delivered the appliances, and installed the fridge and oven (included with delivery). We also shopped in doors, hardware, lumber, and plumbing and all areas were the same....really helpful. read more

Im a pretty big fan of Lowes and it's my choice for just about everything that has to do with working on or around your home. I used to visit this store 2 times a day when I was finishing my basement and I really really enjoyed the staff and most everyone was helpful. Now I get a lot of attitude here and not helpful people. I hate it when I go in and 5 employees walk by we without at least asking if I need help finding something ect. Usually I'm looking for something or I wouldn't be there right? Either way it's one of 3 locations I visit in town and I will keep going back because I like Lowes. read more

I stopped by to get some wood to replace the steps on my deck. They had everything and I mean everything I could possibly need and a bunch of stuff I didn't lol but the one thing I couldn't find for the life of me was someone who worked there to help me...... I ended up having to get all the wood myself l, not really a problem, as well as buy a saw I didnt really have the extra money for to cut the wood seeing as how not a single employee was to be found to cut the wood for me... But anyways I was able to finish my steps and I cantilever the saw came in handy as I could cut everything perfectly and even add a couple little designs that look really nice! So 4 stars for the selection and minus 1 for no help!!! read more

I just ran in to exchange a part and they had me in and out in no time. I returned what I bought and it was taken care in about two minutes. I then went and got the right part and was out the door in about 5 minutes. I was in a hurry so this was a great thing for me. Everyone was very friendly and the cashier thanked me for my military service. On the way back to my car I noticed parking spots reserved for veterans. It is great to see a company supporting veterans the way they do. The parking spots are up close to the building so I will leave them open in case a disabled vet needs it. Just had the worst experience with customer service at the self-checkout. The spray paint we were going to buy didn't have a barcode on it. So the employee said, yeah, that's been happening all day, do you want to go back and get another one because I can't leave here. Really? No! I don't want to go back and get one because I don't work here! Seriously? C'mon Lowe's we expect better. read more

I love this Lowes! Why I try to find items on my own though, is what I wonder every visit, especailly after I never find what I'm looking for and then end up having to ask one of the ever so helpful Lowes employees. Those dudes seem to be everywhere though and that's greatly appreciated. On tonight's list was a toilet paper roll holder... after a wild weekend, a friend of mine fell into mine and one half went missing. I didn't ask, off to Lowes I went. I'm thinking that it went down the toilet and I'll soon be needing plummer recommendations. Note that the bathroom stuff is in the back, left corner. Also, needed was the storm door shock attachment thingy. How in the world both of mine broke, is beyond me. But the Lowes guy came to my rescue again, as he suggested that both of them didn't need to be the premium kind, only the one at the bottom needed a stopper. I shop at Lowes in general way too much. I spend way too much time and money here, but the staff are 100% helpful and friendly at all times. They go out of their way to assist me anytime I am there. This is my second choice of Lowes to go to since I live in Winchester. I love the fact you can say "If i were a leaf blower, where would you find me" to any staff member and they let you know right away. Great work Lowes and staff. I recently purchased an outdoor sectional from Lowe's. The delivery men were in my driveway exactly at 11:00 am which was my delivery time. The sectional was supposed to be assembled at the store but wasn't. So the delivery guys did it on the spot. The only problem was one of the webbing was damaged. They offered to take back the entire sectional and replace it but I didn't feel that was necessary. One of the men said he would return to fix it. Two weeks went by and I never heard from or saw them so I went into Lowe's and spoke to the Manager, Drew. He was awesome. He is sending me a new chair (just the piece that's damaged) at my convenience. I am very happy with the service and I love our new outdoor sectional. I commend the great customer service that Lowe's has provided. Even with the one little hitch. read more

This day he was not the expert in the area I needed so he put me in contact with one, Jeff Smith. Jeff Smith help with all my needs and I finished up my purchase with them.
