I wanted to share a recent experience from the evening of 3/30/26 that left me frustrated and disappointed. My wife and I arrived at the store around 7:15 PM to pick up a few items, including some things from the nursery. We had recently purchased an EGO mower for $899 and were considering adding a blower. While in-store, we noticed a promotion on blowers that included a free battery, so we decided to move forward with the purchase. Because both the blower and battery were locked up--and we had just come from Costco with frozen items--I asked my wife to have an associate assist while I grabbed something I needed on the far end of the store. She was eventually helped and given both the blower and a battery. We proceeded to check out in the garden center and waited a few minutes in line. At checkout, I mentioned the battery should be free, but the associate said the promotion wasn't working in the system. After briefly trying to resolve it, he found the promotion online but realized the battery we were given was the wrong one. Trying to be helpful and mindful of the growing line, I offered to go grab the correct battery myself. Since everything was locked, the associate gave me a paper with a number and said a manager would meet me promptly. I went to the aisle and waited about 10 minutes with no assistance before going to the service desk for help. Eventually, I was connected with a manager, Keith, who did help get the correct battery and walked back with me to checkout. At that point, I assumed my original transaction had been paused or my items set aside given the circumstances. Instead, I was told to get back in line--which had grown significantly. After already spending close to 30 minutes resolving an issue that was not my fault, being sent to the back of the line felt dismissive and frustrating. I understand that issues happen, and I appreciate the individuals who tried to help along the way. However, the overall handling--particularly the lack of urgency and resolution at the end--was disappointing. As a small business owner who regularly spends money at big box stores, I typically choose based on convenience. Experiences like this will influence those decisions moving forward. read more

I am doing a custom project putting cabinetry wall in our laundry room and some of the cabinets can get quite large/heavy. I had 8 cabinets (two of which were 84in tall) and an 8ft counter top. Jaret and Ron helped me take these large cabinets off the high shelves, place them on a cart, and wheeled them to the front for me. I would not have been able to do this on my own and did I mention it was a busy SUNDAY?! I am so grateful for the assistance and the smiling facing while doing so. Thank you!!! read more

We are remodeling a bathroom so stopped by to see what fixtures were available. The selection of vanities, lighting, fixture were plentiful. Price was right on most of the items we wanted plus there was a sale. However, service was terrible! I counted at least 10 staff members walk by us, not one asked if we needed help or even looked at us, not one. One guy actually was working behind us, knew we were debating products & he never looked at us or offered to help. I don't expect people to drip service but at least greet or acknowledge our presence. We walked out & will not return. read more

I've shopped at several local Lowes over many years for supplies to complete my home projects. This location has met my expectations. I've also experienced shopping on line to find products to View and plan for a easier less time consuming in store visit. Let's face it the stores are huge and carries most items seen on line. On one of my previous visit I wasn't able to find metal handrails the online sight claimed was in stock at the specified local location only to find that item is not carried in store which I found confusing. Lowes Carries most quality DIY items at reasonable prices for a successful project in so many different departments. Self service checkout was easy and customer service was prompt and friendly. Well maintained and clean facility. Plentiful lot parking. Recommend you shop at Lowes. read more

My husband and I shopped at the Lowe's in N.E. 4930 Norton Healthcare Blvd In Louisville, Ky. today. The associate by the name of Mark was not helpful, and was quite rude as we were purchasing a Christmas tree that was the floor model. He never once tried to help us take the tree apart, he told us we were crazy when we were trying to buy a storage bin to haul the tree home, and was extremely nasty when we were told by customer service we would receive an extra 20% off for purchasing the floor model. He acted like we were bothering him, he was so sarcastic and was even nasty to the young man at the service register who checked us out by telling him " you all do what ever you want, I'm done dealing with this". I have never had this type of service from someone there before. I am not one to complain but we were treated very poorly and this man needs to get his attitude in check. He is there to work and he wanted to be anywhere else but there helping anyone. read more

I will update this review, if the service improves. But currently, if there is an issue, when you try to reach out to the manager, they will not come to the phone. I'm disappointed, that they are not standing behind a purchase of an appliance, even with their extended warranty. There has been poor service when going into the store. Lowe's was on our list of errands and after visiting Norton Commons this location was on the way home. The day was gorgeous and Lowe's was hopping, especially the garden area. Kudos to them for taking care of their massive space. The plants looked well cared for and healthy for planting. We picked up 3-4 items to fill in bare space in our garden and a new hose for the front yard. Checked out their paint swatches as well. They have quite a few options for paint styles and colors. Lowe's aisles are well marked and lines, both indoor and garden area, moved well. I've also noticed on my last couple of trips that prices for similar items (not the same brand but great quality) found at its biggest competitor are better priced here. read more

There were about 7 employees standing by the front walking and almost blocking my way in. On their phones as well. Not a hello or sorry for blocking my way in. WARNING! Do not buy appliances from Lowe's in Louisville, KY! They naturally made it very easy to buy and to arrange the delivery. However, when the first set was delivered, the dryer was broken. The deliveryman told me I could easily just buy the part that was broken and fix it myself. This was absolutely unacceptable. I attempted to reject delivery but they would not take the dryer with them and left it here. Also the washer had many cosmetic scratches... So fast forward to two days later and the second set are delivered. So far so good... These guys seemed more professional until they left without telling us that they were finished and when I inspected the units, neither of them were attached to the pedastals. I am looking at the units and I can see where it would have been very easy to connect them if they had just taken the time... Lowe's was barely helpful throughout all of this, mostly blaming it on the third party delivery company and passing the buck. As I said earlier, buying and paying for these expensive units was very easy, as was buying the $250 protection plan. But when it comes to the installation, my issues, and even an apology, Lowe's was scarce and difficult to reach. Return policy has gotten really bad, if you don't have a receipt they will not accept a return even for a store credit. Item I was trying to return is advertised on the website as a "Lowe's exclusive" so there no question it came from here, there's also a shipping sticker on the box stating it was shipped to store 2245 (that's the store number for NE Louisville Lowe's) $250 down the drain. I will avoid buying anything here for the foreseeable future. read more

I came to Lowe's (Brownsboro Crossing) today with a list of several items I needed to purchase for a marquee at the entrance of my neighborhood community. I also brought ideas about how they could all be connected. Brandon listened carefully and proposed an even better solution which changed my original list. He made sure to explain and show me how it would work.He never seemed to rush me or get impatient with my questions. He was assigned to the outdoor garden center, but helped me locate many items for the marquee indoors as well as some items I needed for my own home. What a valuable young man he is to Lowe's. I was not happy when I went to Lowe's today. I needed to pick up a load of mulch and a few other things. So I got what I needed and checked out. The young lady that checked me out was very pleasant. When I asked her if there was someone outside that could help me load the mulch she said, yes just drive around to the yard and someone will help. So I drove to the yard, as I have many times before, and stopped by the mulch stack. After about a 10 minute wait a man named Craig showed up with a scowl on his face. He never said a word, just took my receipt and scribbled on it and handed it back. I opened up the back of my vehicle and when he went to load the fist bag he just slammed it down very hard. Made my whole car shake. Each bag thereafter he slammed in as hard as he could. He must have been having a hard day or does not like his job. When he was finished loading he just walked away. Not even a "thank you". Probably will not return to this location. I have other ones to choose from. read more

Poor management at this store. Their scanner failed to register the proper price of a tool on sale, and I was told it was MY job to go take a picture of the price tag showing the sale price and then come back to the register. Then today it took them 15 minutes to get the only employee in the store qualified to use the large plane saw to cut large pieces of wood. Management Fail. read more

Very disappointed. I've been a loyal Lowe's customer for more than 20 years. My son is working on an Eagle Scout project and he went in there to solicit donations of any kind for his project. He was told very quickly that Lowe's does not support any of these activities. We were shocked as other local and national home improvement chains were more than willing to help him. Quality of items has gone down substantially. On last visit, after settling for subpar items I needed, went to pay and there were no cashiers.....only self-checkout. While I understand it's relatively easy, I only see it as lining the pockets of shareholders. I'm done with all of Lowe's. Local hardware has better quality and human interaction. read more

I really like shopping in the store but I have had an absolute nightmare of flooring installation project. It has been going on for about two months. It started with the delivery I paid for not being delivered into the house like it was supposed to. The driver off loaded three pallets of flooring into my driveway and I carried it all into the house by myself in the middle of February with snow and ice. The day of installation we found out that some of the products delivered were incorrect from the original estimate so the installation wouldn't be completed today no matter what. The contractor installed the flooring without the correct plywood thickness to make the floor level like originally quoted due to the wrong thickness being supplied. I had to make Lowes make the plywood correction and pull up the floor and reinstall correctly. All the while the stair risers have been ordered 3 times and still not correct so a month and a half later I still dont have risers and Lowes says its out of stock and cannot tell me when they may be back in stock so I have no idea when this may finish. They will also not let me buy the correct items at another store other than Lowes since they will not install anything not purchased through them. DO NOT EVER USE LOWES FOR AN INSTALLATION!!! read more

Took 2 trips to get blinds estimate and a day off, Lowes still couldn't get it right. I was told the install company would call me in 48 hours. Never got a call - 2 months ago. Business travel then was in the store about 4 weeks after first contact and told no appt was ever setup or request for install company. Started over with new person, Paid $19 for estimate and appt. Set up for 6 weeks out. After 6 weeks of waiting and taking a day off, the wrong install company was setup. They were suppose to arrive in am. Received a call and told they couldn't make it in am but afternoon. I was called to say they were the wrong company setup by lowes I called lowes to only try to set me up with same company again. Requested manager. Phone never answered!! Called customer service sent back to person who did not know what to do. 10 weeks later and no progress!!!! Worst experience ever!! Customer service again. I went in to get insulation for my basement and one board that needed to be cut. I had the board in the cart and went to the pro counter where two employees were talking. One looked up at me and said "the checkout lane is there" ( as if I didn't see it). I told her I had a question. She said they were in the middle of something! I said well I just have a question. She called for someone to assist. No one ever came up. The cashier was trying to be helpful. She said they were loading a truck for someone. The original pair came back towards me and then called for help the second time. No one ever came. I left. The people they were calling for were having too much fun playing with the riding Latin the parking lot. We stopped in at this location earlier this afternoon with a shopping list. The store is clean, but merchandise pricing is either difficult to find or nonexistent. We asked a worker for help locating an item in the flooring department and he directed us to the paint section which didn't have what we were looking for so we went back to flooring and found it on our own. We discovered the store didn't carry Whirlpool / Jet tub cleaner (after asking a different work). When we asked yet another worker for help in lighting, looking for a specific type, he wasn't familiar with the item nor was his co-worker. Most of the employees weren't particularly friendly either and a lot of them were seen spending their time socializing with each other. Although I personally like the products and selection better Lowe's, I prefer making my purchases at Home Depot primarily because of their customer service. We have been talking about upgrading appliances for some time & finally pulled the trigger. A while back we decided exactly which gas range we wanted. Thanks to Lowe's website we were able to locate which Louisville location had one in stock. So we arrived to the Norton Healthcare Boulevard Lowe's on a mission. We were ready to purchase after a quick look over of the gas range & microwave. John helped us complete our purchase on Thursday. John was very friendly & throughout. Unfortunately the gas range we wanted wasn't in stock. John happily called the supply to have another one sent to the store. We were given a delivery day about 1.5 weeks after our purchase. We are just updating our current gas range .... so we were in no rush to get it. The microwave we wanted was in stock & we were able to take that home with us that day. Recently moved here and made the mistake of ordering a new washer and dryer from them. It took 3 weeks for delivery. If you call this Lowe's be ready to be put on hold and sent around the store. Hard to reach the department needed. While there's a warranty on my appliances, Lowe's doesn't help you. They suggest contacting a appliance repair service. The person who installed them did a good job but left them dirty and all The stickers on. Debris on the floor. Seem perturbed when I asked him to revere the dryer door since the dryer was on the left of the washer. He left a large and expensive looking wrench here. When I called the store I was sent around to different places only to come back to customer service. When I let her know about the wrench, she told me to keep it. Today I was there to pickup fertilizer and seed for my lawn. I hear everyone talking about overseeding and fertilizing before the winter so I thought I'd do the same. I need to give a shoutout to Jessica in the paint department. I was in there yesterday and brought back a gallon of paint that I was supposed to have color matched but chose a (wrong) chip. Instead of telling me "no" as she was in the right to do she spent 15 minutes adding the correct pigment and eventually turned my "wrong" into a "right". I would have purchased another $50 gallon bucket of paint but she said "Let's see what we can do" and nailed it saving me $50 and the wrath of my son who wanted his chickens to have a specific color. (I honestly don't believe the hens would actually have cared too much but who knows?) Jessica was busy at the time but made my happiness a priority and she's an asset to your customer service team. As a business owner I realize that typically you only hear the negative but I'm a firm believer of giving credit when it's warranted. read more

We purchased granite countertops from Lowe's. I purchased a product on their brochure because if the linear design. We were told if ordered by end of Nov it would be installed by Christmas. And in 2-3 days after measurements were taken. They installed Feb 19. No sink water or kitchen counters for thanksgiving Christmas or new years. The granite I chose is shown from brochure and the brown granite is what I received which looks like spots not lines. Also can't get stove out because the granite is wedged against. The hardwood install has loose pieces around fireplace and a section in the dining room feels like no underpad and they covered vent. They did return and opened vent. Calls not returned. read more
