I have always had great experiences here. I bought a fridge and there was an issue with it. The exchange was easy.

My husband and I were in need of appliances for the duplex we're renovating. We were worried that we would have to wait months to get these due to shortages. But happily, Bargain Supply had a plethora of options. We are now expecting two stoves, two refrigerators and a dishwasher next week. Ordering was easy. We walked back through aisles and aisles of hardware goods. This part of the store reminded me of Harbor Freight. The back part of the store is dedicated to appliances with many to choose from. The prices seemed more than reasonable. Along with brand-new models, they have floor models and some scratch and dent options as well. Our salesperson was helpful when picking out what to get. He made some good recommendations based on these appliances going into rentals. Bargain Supply also delivers and can take away your old units. Our appliances are set to be delivered next week. Everything you need in one spot! Why waste your time with big corporate stores in the burbs when we have this place downtown. Lumber would be the exception. The staff is extremely friendly and you are greeted when you walk in by the cashiers. Literally everyone on the floor is happy to help you find whatever you need for a project. They also have a pretty massive inventory of appliances and scratch and dent deals. I only write reviews for establishments that shine. Bargain Supply is a gem in the rough. read more

My family bought many items here when I was growing up. I needed a refrigerator a.s.a.p. due to ours went out and couldn't be fixed. I was having trouble finding one I liked in stock, with a reasonable delivery date. I finally found one I liked on their website the night before Derby, thinking "oh no, I don't know if they are going to be open tomorrow". Thankfully, they were open. I called and spoke with Phil and they had one left in stock. My husband went and paid and arranged delivery for Tuesday (today). The delivery guys were in and out in no time at all and took the old appliance. Everyone I have dealt with has been very nice and offered advice, asked if we had any questions. It has been a breath of fresh air, compared to some stores where you barely get any interaction from employees. I would highly recommend them. read more

When I go to bargain supply I feel like a child in Santa's workshop. There's SO MUCH STUFF. I love tools, I love housewares, I love random miscellaneous crap, and I love a good deal. Bargain Supply is a great asset to my NuLu neighborhood. Bargain Supply carries virtually everything! You can get gardening supplies, hardware, appliances - you name it and Bargain Supply has it on hand. They have a large parking lot and are conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and they know where everything is in their store. It is really nice to have them nearby. If you have not been in and live in NuLu or off Bardstown Road you should do yourself a favor and stop in. Our old oven broke on Christmas week (Of course, right?)! We found the perfect induction range to get, but all the big chain stores had delivery dates in January, leaving us with a tabletop toaster oven for the holidays. Thanks to Google, we came across Bargain Supply Co, who had the same sale on a Frigidaire range as the big guys did. Not only that, but having called them up the previous day, Jeremy hooked us up with the promised sale though it had just expired, and we ended up saving $700. We loved the down-to-earth vibe at the store, and in just a half hour we drove off after they connected the electric plug, got home and started cooking our Christmas foods in style! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. This was my first time here and I could not believe the variety of things they have for sale at very good prices. We were looking for an appliance and were excited that we found it in the scratch & dent area. There is a huge selection in that area. Bargain Supply is a well stocked place for many supplies and hardware items. I put them on the same level as harbor freight when it comes to items of like nature. Plus they sale appliances and I have seen some good prices on some them as well. Some things they will have cheaper and some things I have seen them marked higher. So as with anything, depending on what you are looking for shop around. Ensure to double check and be sure the item you are looking to purchase is in total working order before you buy, as the return policy was not very buyer friendly. I have had several items that I tried to return and was told, as they do not stock them any more, so I could not return the item. I had not paid much for it, but still the buyer should beware. read more

This place has pretty much anything I could be looking for at a hardware store. They also have appliances for sale and other random finds like dog toys and seasonal finds for your spending pleasure. We actually bought a washing machine here, a speed queen...and love it! The service was friendly and efficient. We did not have any issues with delivery or set up. :) I have been impressed with the low prices most of all. I am so glad I now know about this spot near me. This place is a joke. The woman who says she runs it is a total nut case. The guys in the tool area are unhelpful. Everyone seems like they are miserable and they all look like they chain smoke and drink hard. This place would be more fitting on the south end or in shivley. read more

I'm mad as hell. I just left Bargain Supply. Went to look at their reading glasses. I found a pair. I had them in my hand and a lady that works there says to me, "can I help you? Did you decide not to get that pocket knife you were looking at? I hadn't even seen a pocket knife. Didn't buy the glasses and went to my car. Then I walked back in and demanded an apology for accusing me of stealing a knife. They acted like they didn't owe me one, said the employee was just doing her job. I began drilling the hell out of the manager and employee. Manager says the employee saw me on camera and could have mistaken the pocket knife with a different item I took. Then said the employee might have mistaken me for a different customer. The manager will review the footage and call me. She is part of the Ogden family that owns the place. I have her card. They didn't expect me to catch on to what did you decide against the knife really implied. Is this a legal issue? It ruined my day and I won't shop there anymore. Before today I was a customer of theirs and bought large quantities of their closeout items. read more
