Horrible service! Always bought every appliance and they've done our deck and flooring in the past. We saw a display they had in the kitchen dept. and we decided to get everything. The counter, the sink, the faucet. We were going to design our whole kitchen around this display. The day of the install the company they hired "Rocksolid" sent the most unprofessional person to do the install. He was complaining about allergies, cussing up a storm and broke our lazy Susan. He said we needed to get someone to fix that. He destroyed our counters and then proceeds to install the wrong material. He starts arguing that it is the right one. Meanwhile I'm showing him the video of the counter material at the store and he proceeds to tell me that sometimes it looks different at the store. I immediately go to the store and try to have this corrected. This started in April 27, it's now Nov 1 and nothing has been done to fix the situation. Corporate says the store has to handle it and the store says corporate has to deal with it. Meanwhile we're in limbo ‍ I've had three other counter companies look at the counter and they say that the store mislabeled the material they had on display and screwed me over. The store manager is incompetent and had the gall to tell me that "some customers actually like when the material looks different" The icing on the cake is when the installation company sent an inspector and he agreed regarding the material and that the guy who showed up was unstable and didn't do the job adequately. This is not how satisfaction guaranteed is accomplished. The store manager isn't concerned with customer satisfaction he's more concerned with employee ice cream day and toppings ‍ Do better Lowe's! I went thru lowes to have a new metal roof put on my house, and the installer was Apex metal solutions. APEX metals installers did a great job and kept me up to date on everything, The crew was very professional and polite. I had to go to work and they made sure I could get out and in. The roof looks great and the crew did a good job of cleaning up after. Thanks apex metal I will recommend your company, Lowes also kept in touch and if I had any questions to please call and did follow up to see if I was pleased. First things first-- shout out to Emily in Appliances! She took the time to answer my questions and make sure the items were in stock. She made the entire process so easy. Also, the installation technicians were incredibly professional and friendly. Although I live in Canton (closer to Lowes in Belden Village area), I now only shop at Massillon Lowes. If I could give zero stars I would absolutely! Military gets 10% off and apparently a Cac card which is a military ID is not good enough. They want you to upload your documents and give out all your info like are you serious? Home Depot just requires you show them your military ID. Worse experience I've ever had with any retail store (including fast food). Simply put, they said they had a curb side pick up service by purchasing online, I tried to use it during these challenging times..Finally got my email notice a few hours later that my products were ready for pick up, show up to the location, parked where suppose to, call in and stated with order # was ready to pick up, told "we'll be out", waiting, waiting, waiting, long story short after 20 minutes, enter the store, explain I am just waiting for pick-up..."Ohh, we need to get that last item for you" (mind you already suppose to be ready prior to my initial -come & get it-email),--then 15 minutes later waiting inside the store they finally bring it--and wanted ME (I ordered Pick up mind you) to wheel it out to my truck the long way around..They were very unprofessional, callous, and disorganized, had no clue about the Parking Lot Pick up option that is suppose to mitigate social distance contact.....glad there are options for me. read more

First, we ordered Kraftmaid kitchen cabinets from them in 2013. The Lowe's salesperson we dealt with originally was awesome. We found the cabinets we liked and ordered them. We got a delivery date and scheduled our installer. The cabinets showed up and they had a few issues. Some of the doors had runs and dust in the finish. We purchased 2 lazy susan cabinets that both had saw cuts showing (the saw blade cut 3/4" to far into the base of the cabinet in the 90 degree corner) right where the door opens, so you see it every time you open the door. Called the sales guy at Lowe's, he apologized and said he'd take care of it. Ended up that he ordered us some replacement doors and new lazy susan cabinets. The lazy susan cabinets couldn't be delivered by them in time for our install date, so I ended up making the 4 hour round trip to the Kraftmaid factory to pick up the replacements. An inconvenience for sure, but at this point we're not upset. It happens. We drive home, unload them, unbox them, and find that the new ones have the same saw cut marks showing in the corners. Here's the point where we get upset. We call Lowe's to talk to our guy again and find out he's no longer there. We now have to deal with April (April the moron is what my wife and I nicknamed her). Every time we would ask her a question, she would reply "Umm, I'm not sure". She could never do anything to help us. She ended up telling us to deal with Mike, a rep from Kraftmaid. Mike assures us that the saw cuts are normal and there is nothing that can be done about them. We asked him why the display models don't have saw cuts showing on them. He replied "Umm, I don't know". So now we have Mike and April the morons to deal with. Ended up we went a few rounds with him and gave up because we were out of time. We talked to our installer about postponing the work, but he didn't know when he would be able to reschedule it as he had just picked up another big job. Also, we had granite countertops scheduled shortly thereafter. We unhappily decided we would live with the saw cut marks. Never so much as an apology from either of the two morons, or the store, let alone a discount for the defect. The second issue with them is we ordered a new Maytag Maxima washer and dryer set. The first time they delivered them, they did show up on time. We didn't have them hook them up and level them as their store policy is that the customer is required to purchase new hoses and a cord (from them for a ridiculously overpriced amount) or they can't hook them up for liability reasons. So, we just had them set them close to where they were going. Well, after we connected the hoses and pushed the washer into place to level it, we removed the rest of the tape, protective plastic, and the owners manual that was strategically placed to cover a big dent on top of the machine. A dent that was made from the drum assembly slamming into the top of the washer and denting it from the inside out. Sigh. We called the store at 9:04 pm and got the "sorry we're closed" message even though the store hours said they were open until 10pm. The next morning we called the store and told them the issue. They said they didn't have another one in stock, but could get one from another store. Set it up for Monday morning delivery (this was on Friday). Monday afternoon at about 2:00 we call the store to see where the delivery people were. The not-so-friendly girl I spoke to on the phone (I was being polite) informed me that I was set up as an afternoon delivery between 12 and 4. I thanked her for keeping the customers in the loop. No apology from her. About an hour later, they showed up. The woman on the "delivery team" kept saying that the problem with making deliveries after dark is that she can't see things like the big dent on top of our washing machine. Our basement is very well lit and we did turn the lights on for them, so go figure. She didn't do much to help the guy doing all the work with the dolly either. She did however reek of cigarette smoke, which is always a pleasant aroma to non-smokers. I gave her a $20 tip the first time they delivered the appliances, which was mainly for the guy doing all the work and I should have given it directly to him, but he was already back out in the truck. We are done with Lowe's. There's too many other options out there than to deal with Lowe's shameful personnel. read more
