I took it in to the Verizon store and they kindly told me it was all over and I should look at picking up a used phone - it seems the Note 2s are going cheap on eBay. But then I was directed to GetMoe and on the SAME DAY I took in my dead phone, Moe had it back and running! Like MAGIC! I used to manage a technology store where we did in house repairs, so I know a little of what is involved. Moe did a fantastic job and he had the tools and parts needed to service all the big brands. If your cell phone is busted - go see Moe! NOTE: GetMoe may not be open right at ten am. Call ahead if you're making a trip to the store, and make sure they're open.

Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.

And they won't call you back…read more Lindsey at this store messed up out transaction back in July when transferring my 86 year old mother's account to my own. She also gave us other information regarding pricing of her new phone and service discounts. All the information she gave us was false. Phone was supposed to be $5 a month.... It was $10... etc etc. Also other staff in the store apparently do not know what they are doing either as when my mother stopped to inquire why she was getting mis billed they told her her bill was wrong and to ignore it. Now we have AT&T threatening my mother with collection. No one in this store will even take my call or return a call. And apparently they don't even have a manager . So all in all I would no go here

He tried to oversell us things we didn't need under the guise of "free watch" the bill he quoted was $100 more a month than what we quoted online because of the bloated services he was trying to bundle because "the more you get the more you save". He refused to listen that we couldn't set up new numbers and just wanted us to get all new numbers. Was the perfect example of anti customer. All he cared about was making money. His comment when I asked him about it was "That's not part of the program. " To that, I replied "Well, I didn't break the phone. You did. " He, again let me know that I should not be compensated for the inconvenience, my time or the fuel it took to get there. I then said "So, I guess my time and my money don't matter. " He then said "Well, I'm not going to argue about this. " I told him i didn't come here to argue. I was very polite and just felt like I was being wronged. He said he would replace the back glass on the phone and nothing more. I said I wasn't trying to gouge him I was just hoping he would, at least, give me the $20 it took to get there and home. He snapped the back glass onto my phone and handed it to me and told me to have a nice day. I told him the same and told him to read the review and he said he would. When I say "He", I am referring to the owner.
