I was searching for a little spring. I had little confidence this tiny place would have what I needed. I walked into the store and maneuvered down the cramp aisles. An employee (maybe the owner) comes over to help me. I tell him what I need and he pulls out the board displaying the springs and rifles through the drawer to find me what I needed. Then he charges me 50¢. And then when I said get him next time. I told him I didn't live there. He said whenever. Wow! People still do stuff like that? So I walked out to my truck, dug around in my backpack and found 50¢ to bring back inside.

This antique mall is set-up very nicely (don't forget to go upstairs!) and I found it much easier to walk through than some of the other antique stores we've visited this week. The vendors in this mall seem to maintain their booth spaces on a more regular basis, which is nice. My S.O. always had his eye on vintage cameras and there were a lot of them here. Karen (who's a doll, by the way) was the only employee working at the time and was pretty busy wheeling and dealing for the customers. Apparently you can make offers on items here as well and staff can call the seller(s) for you. I left with a NWT (new with tags) fanny pack for my cousin (she collects them) for less than $4 and a couple of plants from a cute booth that someone had. Had this seller offered more plants, I probably would have bought her out. We were in here for about an hour and spent around $12. Masks are required and there's a big bottle of hand sanitizer available when you walk it. By far our favorite antique store on Broadway in downtown Paducah. Recommend.

At that point I put back the shirt I was planning to pay cash for, and walked away. I glanced over my shoulder and they had already snatched up the shirt and moved it back to what I guess was a better spot. I just smiled as the person glared. Any other store would have said, "Sorry, we're closed." Instead, they opened the door and helped me look, let me borrow a phone to call (my phone was on silent!), and then to try to log in to my icloud for findmylost phone (but too stressed to remember the pw).... I was crying out to God bc I depend on that phone! One of the gentlemen found it where I had already looked (in a toy bin!!). I am so grateful. He didn't raise the prices or anything... he said the things were donated and they were there to help people .... I've just about stopped stopping there and started going on down toward town from there about a miles or so... they are priced like tomorrow's hope used to be and really friendly... 5.00 a bag usually and clean also.... its a pity tomorrow's hope had to jump the prices so high that everyone is talking about it and not shopping like they used to there... help our town don't take what we give you and raise the prices so that people can't afford to shop local....

Lowe's adherence to the Governors mask mandate is a joke. Many employees are wearing their masks improperly with their noses exposed. Apparently they don't understand that they breathe in and out of their noses too. Like so many other businesses in town, the almighty dollar means more to management than the health and safety of the employees and their customers. It's appalling. read more

Hard to call it a nursery. Anyway, we got an expensive tree and paid to have it planted. Seven months later it was dead. This business was nasty about replacing it but finally did so with yet ANOTHER planting FEE. Again, within seven months, we had amongst all of our very green healthy plants and trees a large DEAD BROWN tree. I called them to have it replaced and they said, again, in nasty rude tones, that they wouldn't and It wasn't their policy to replace a poor product a second time. They said we must have bugs. Thing is, none of the other plants or trees in our yard know there are bugs and are healthy and happy. If we have bugs, they came with the tree we bought. WE ARE NOW OUT $240. I've taken pictures of the tree with all the healthy vegetation around it. I've also taken a video which will be posted on YOU TUBE. I am now going to cut this very dead brown tree down, mount it upright in my truck bed with a banner explaining where anyone who wants, can buy this sort of product with this sort of non warranty.
