I have been a long time loyal client of Lowes but Im done I will never set foot back into there store to buy anything for my home again. I bought a storm door to have installed back in March 2024. The contractor who installed it cut the rubber piece to short that slides on the bottom. So I took a picture and went to Lowe's and showed him. The guy apologized for the inconvenience and sold me another rubber piece to slide on the bottom and he said it should be easy to slide on. Well it does not slide on easy and it keeps falling off. I called Lowe's to let them know the issue. They refuse to send a contractor to fix the issue and stated that the door is no longer under warranty. That I have to find another contractor to come out and fix the problem after I paid them originally to install it properly. I am no longer a customer of Lowe's anymore. read more

Tool Rental rented a pole saw and scissor lift to trim some tree branches. Polesaw wouldn't start. Scissor lift battery was dead and had to use extension cords to move it around. Couldn't get lift back on trailer because it had bald tires. Eventually got everything back to them because I couldn't use due to inoperable pole saw. They didn't charge me for pole saw because it didn't work but charged me for lift rental because it was operable. Couldn't use it without working pole saw but still had to pay? TERRIBLE customer service and executive customer relations team!!! Wanted to order a couple of simple vinyl screen doors for our pool gazebos due to deterioration of the current vinyl ones (also purchased from Lowe's a couple of years ago). Started researching online at their official website that Fri morning and found one on sale for $24.92 reg $100 so, of course, wanted to order it, especially when it stated at our store there were 9 in stock and we could pick up there within the hour. When the website shows availability and the location of the item at our store or nearby, we just go to the store, pick up, and pay there. My husband was on his way home from ATL and stopped by our store to pick up. Was told by the manager it was a sale item and had to be ordered for pick up since it was on sale online only not in the store. I told him just to come on in and we'd order it and pick up the next morning since it would be on a Sat. Kept trying to order off and on thru out the day (and every time I went to the site, it would refresh and that sale price would come up!) when I had a moment until around 6 pm when I finally decided to call and place the order over the phone. Imagine my surprise when the C/S state it couldn't be that price there must be a glitch (not sure if they saw the same price I did but I'm guessing they did because that's the way they acted) and my response a glitch for the entire day?!?!? They would not honor the price over the phone even though it was their mistake! So I reached out to their Executive C/S Team to a person I've dealt with before who has always been very helpful but was told she wasn't in that dept anymore (I've dealt off and on with her since 2022) and someone else answered with their standard 'sorry (but not really sorry) we can't honor that price even though it was our mistake but we can help you order it at the correct price (like I'm stupid and can't order online like I've been doing for the past 12 years I've been a customer!). I rarely leave negative reviews on Yelp, but this experience warrants one. In early December, I purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's and paid extra for delivery, installation, required parts, and haul-away. None of those services were completed as promised. On delivery day, the drivers refused to install the appliances, citing weather and a wire shelf, and said they would return the next day if I removed it (which I did). The appliances were left in my garage in freezing temperatures. I later discovered they were dented during delivery, and manuals and installation parts were missing. The driver never returned. Customer service told me a later delivery team would install the appliances. That never happened either. When another Lowe's team came days later for a separate delivery, they refused to install the washer and dryer still sitting in my garage and did not perform the haul-away service I had paid for. Because Lowe's failed to install or complete delivery, I could not inspect, use, or return the appliances within their internal return window. Despite this, Lowe's repeatedly cited that policy to deny a return--even though their own failures caused the delay. Over several weeks, I spent my own money on installation parts and paid to have the appliances moved inside for security reasons. Lowe's only issued partial refunds and ultimately tried to shift responsibility to the manufacturer, even though the appliances were never installed or usable. After weeks of calls, broken promises, and escalation to executive customer relations, the issue remains unresolved. I no longer trust Lowe's to stand behind the services they sell or to resolve problems when things go wrong. If you're considering buying appliances from Lowe's, be aware that paying for installation and delivery does not guarantee those services will actually be completed--or that Lowe's will take responsibility if they aren't. read more

I wish yelp had negative stars because 1 star is too good for them. I ordered a toilet and had it same day delivered. I then hired a handyman to come out and install it and do some other work also. When he opened the box, part of the toilet was broken into pieces. I called to see if they could do the same day delivery again and bring a replacement and take the broken one back. They refused. They suggested that I bring the toilet back to the store and exchange it. I said if I have to load a 100 pound toilet and kill my back and drive it back to the store which isn't close to me, that I am going to need a full and refund and replacement. They refused. They said they could get another one to me the next day, but my installer won't be at my house the next day and he doesn't live close to me, I said the least you can do is give me free installation the next day because I won't have anyone to put it in, and none of this is my fault. I have been going to this Lowes location at least once a month for the past 4 years. It is a perfectly fine Lowes location - exactly what you would expect. Inventory, service, returns, etc. The restrooms are decent and they even have a free kids build event on some Saturdays. If you go shopping at Lowes without having a decent idea about what your looking for and understanding basic product knowledge - you may be more prone to having a bad shopping experience that you then blame on the store and its associates. There would be more positive reviews here, but those individuals are too busy getting in and out of this Lowes location quickly and effectively and kicking butt on home projects! read more

When I informed Lowe's they sent separate delivery staff that made my wife very uncomfortable by there comments. They dropped the fridge in the street. I was home for that. Once installed they didn't attach the water hose. My hard wood floors were destroyed. We contacted the store,corporate. Once they finally wrote back, they told us they hire outside installers, so it was no longer their concern..We have to hire attorneys. Bought an item at Black Friday sale price. Was going to buy in-store but was out of stock. Said could order on-line and pick up on 11/30/23. Ordered on 11/27/23 and was confirmed with estimated pick-up on 11/30. Got email on 11/30/23 saying order was cancelled. No option to wait for item. Customer service said if it is out of stock they will not fill the order (or wait for it to come back into stock). If I would have known this, I would have driven to another store to get the item where it was in stock. Lesson here is sale prices are ONLY GOOD IF YOU BUY AN ITEM IN STOCK. No problems with lightbulbs, ladders, garden implements, or household appliances so it's unfair to light the place up when their 15x24 air filter doesn't quite fit my 24x15 air handler intake; somewhat easier to call them on the doddering cashier who asks if I need an associate to unlock the security cable from grill l am buying. Really? You think that's a serious question? This was once s great store but it continues to decline. The reason I used to prefer it to its chief competitor, Home Depot, was the quality of the assistance you could get on the floor. No longer. Every few months there is an announcement of a change in direction aimed at turning the company around. Typically it is an announcement of firing staff in the stores while augmenting staff at headquarters followed a few months later by an announcement of firing staff at headquarters and adding to the staffing at the stores. A few months later it goes the other way in a seemingly endless cycle of decline. The result is s decline in both the availability and quality of advice and assistance on the floor and a decrease in sales and customer satisfaction. If is still s nice clean store with a good home and garden section. But if this spiral of declining service is not reversed the only way sakes will increase is from a going out of business sale. Yes I like this store but mainly because Lowe's is convient to where I live and work, it's well stocked and the staff is very helpful. Every year I plant a garden and this is one of the two places where my bedding plants come from but where all of my mulch, landscape fabric etc comes from. Latest visit was to pick up some solar accent lights. I like to back in to my parking space at night and wanted to get something that I could see in the rear view mirror that were attractive in the surrounding environment. Found what I wanted but was helped out by the Customer Service desk when I asked if it would be in lighting or home and graden. "Straight down this aisle, about 2/3 way down on the right." This review is for corporate Lowe's. I am in CT and had a horrible experience with Lowe's ordering a quartz countertop. The place they pimp out to do the installation charges extra to cut out the hole for the drop-in sink along with an extra charge for a so-called oversized piece. We have a small condo so this sounds like the subcontractor trying to get more money out of you, but installation is supposed to be included. They also don't itemize their printout so you don't know what you're paying for. I was told by corporate that this is their policy. This is extremely unprofessional. Never heard of such a thing. They also were supposed to credit me for a double rounded edge extra of $1218 that they had in the original total, but after measurement only credited $957. It seems to me like there must be some younger execs at the corporate level as they have no idea how to do business. Needless to say I will not be going to Lowe's any more. read more

Absolutely horrible to deal with-a bunch of thieves and liars, I ordered a table saw on Nov. 3rd mostly because the webpage said it would be delivered on Nov. 5th. On Nov. 4th I received an email saying the item had shipped. Used the supplied tracking number at FedEx website and all it said was "label created, FedEx awaiting package". Same thing for the next day. Called Lowes to cancel the order and was told order can't be canceled because it's already in the shipping system Called again two days later. After over half an hour on the phone with Lowes "Customer Care" I was finally told that Lowes doesn't actually have the saw (webpage when I ordered said 283 available) and they're waiting for it to come from a third party vendor! I checked and found my credit card had been billed on Nov. 4th even though they didn't actually have the saw. Emailed "Customer Care" and received a reply that said "All feedback messages are sent to the appropriate department for review; however, you may not receive a reply"! Absolutely terrible experience. I have been very happy with my local Lowes, but I will never again buy something to be delivered. I still have no idea when my saw will arrive. I logged into Lowe's chat this morning to order 6 boxes of Style Selections Spalted Woodbark flooring to finish a job at my home. I spoke to two separate people for over 53 minutes and neither person was able to help locate the items or complete the order. I was then directed to Lowe's corporate call center and spoke to two more people for over 37 minutes and again was unable to get the items ordered. They said that a manager from another store would contact me to try and get them ordered. The manager from a store in Texas called me and explained that despite his inventory showing that he has stock, they don't have any to help me. The manager offered no other help to try and resolve the situation. Frustrated, I went in to my local Lowe's in Apple Valley to try and get the order placed. I went to the flooring section and low and behold they have the exact item I am looking for on display. I take the sample to the manager and explain the situation. He made some calls and explained the item is discontinued and gave me 3 stores that had stock. He said that I had to call them on my own to verify. Am I missing something here? I have spoken to 6 people all of which who could not help me locate and/or order an item that I have previously ordered 86 cartons of. It seems there is no clear communication through out the entire Lowe's company and no one is willing to help place my order. This has been a completely disappointing situation. Every single customer service representative a person encounters in a business is a reflection of that companies brand. In his particular case, I interacted with 6 individuals all who could not help me resolve my situation and were unwilling to make any extra effort to do so. The impression that I received about Lowe's brand, is that they are a company of individuals who do not work together and only will put out as much effort as it takes to get the customer out of their face regardless, if they helped resolve the issue. read more

I ordered a bathroom vanity back in January, the trucking company lost it. It was days before anyone could tell me where it was, cuz no one knew. So in meantime while waiting for paperwork I ordered another one cuz Lowe's said it would be 4 days before they could reorder, I wasn't waiting, guess what Lowes can't tell me where vanity is again, I'm getting the round around again, it was to be delivered 2/14! Lowes can't keep up with ANYTHING: I bought a new refrigerator and it was delivered 2 days later. The delivery (third party is a usless company. They were in such a hurry after being 3 hours late after the delivery window they didn't have time to show us ANYTHING about the unit. The icemaker finally started making ice but the water dispenser does not give cold water. I called the store where I purchased the unit and they have NO RECORD of me purchasing the unit.
