Stopped at Lowe's to grab some essentials before the storm. The locations was pleasantly stocked (new shovels had just come out) with a variety of items. The staff was super helpful, as always, and were prepared to assist. Great location with plenty of parking as well and convenient for making other stops as well in the shopping plaza.

Been in this Lowe's several times, usually to pick up online orders. Today I wanted to browse the plants. I'm 100% a novice when it comes to greenery, so I wasn't really looking for anything specific. I saw lots of pretty plants and trees, seemed like most for outdoors. I wanted something for the inside. Saw some pretty plants in the clearance section but some were in bad shape and I'm not sure I have the skills needed to nurse them back to health. I almost bought one but put it back when I saw the condition of the soil. They also had lots of berries and herbs. I'd definitely come back to make a purchase after doing some research. I've used online pickup several times and everything has gone smoothly.

This illustrates the inconsistent distance between back of counter to stud. On an inch away the other right up against stud.

I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars. . DON'T EVER EVER EVER EVER, go through Lowes for your counter top project services. While the CSRs who helped me get started were very nice, once their part was finished, and I was interacting with the "project" people, I was left out to dry. We purchased our countertops at Lowes. They use the contractor Sage surfaces, who then use another contractor, Stone interiors, as the fabricator. I purchased my countertops in beginning of March, I was told it would take approximately 6 weeks to complete. IT TOOK 19!!! Countertops weren't complete until July 10! This was after multiple mistakes by Stone Interiors. On the 1st attempt, the slab that holds the sink was measured wrong, then 2nd try the whole left side of my kitchen counters were crooked. One of the worst parts about this attempt was the installers left it like that and called it a day. I got home from work and couldn't believe my eyes. I called immediately and asked them about it because I was concerned about the backsplash not fitting correctly with the inconsistent distances to the studs. Their response to me was "If the backsplash installer knows what he's doing he will be able to make it work." They were very wrong, backsplash installer said there's no way I can install it with the countertops looking like this. We would have to move all electrical outlets forward. Also it wouldn't match the line of the wall so the backsplash would look tilted. When I confronted Lowes about all this, they sent me over to their "customer solutions" division. These are the people that were supposed to be my advocates though the rest of the journey. They weren't. They didn't care. I had to call them multiple times, in fact, in the middle of the process my adjuster left the company! Did anyone reach out to me to tell me? NOPE! I found out when I emailed her and my message automatically got forwarded to some general email address. Through this whole process LOWES didn't show any amount of concern. Multiple times I wanted to talk to a manager and I was told more than once about how they are "non-customer facing" employees and would not talk to me. It was suggested I tried calling and talking to the manager of a local store. I can't even tell you how many time I called the Huntersville store THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE - EVER!!!! Never talked to a manager. Attempted this at least 3 times. Two of these times customer service rep transferred me and I listened to a ringing line for at least 15 minutes before I decided to give up and hang up. I called right back and got a hold of that person at the customer service desk and asked her to please just walk to the manager and tell them there is a phone call. She said she couldn't do that and proceeded to transfer me again where it just rang and rang. After my countertops were complete I spoke to my so called advocates at the customer solutions division and let them know it was complete and that I wanted a substantial amount of compensation for this whole debacle. We spent almost $9,300 on countertops with Lowe's contractor for countertop, $13,000 total with Lowes (we also purchased backsplash and installation.) After months and months of dealing with this I finally got the call about the amount they were going to refund me for ALL the inconveniences. $500. $500, can you believe that???? That is from Sage surfaces. I expressed to Lowes that that was unacceptable. This is one of those times I wanted to speak to a manager, but they happen to be non-customer facing. As a goodwill gesture Lowes throws in another $200. Wow thank you so much, how kind! These numbers were truly insulting. CONSUMERS, I CAN'T WARN YOU ENOUGH - DON'T USE LOWES!!!!!!!

Was able to get help here in the paint department that Home Depot wasn't able to give or scheduled for. I had questions about spray paint for a used chair and foot stool never using spray paint before needed advise. While the first person knew nothing was able to request help from another. The information given was useful for sure. Two cans were bought. I did have to go back and buy a third for spots missed while drying, this was not a problem since we did not have the dimensions on the first visit. Somtimes "ones mans trash is another mans treasure". Today this quote is true the chair turned out beautifully.

Neighborhood Store for me. I like this Lowe's. Close and convenient to where I live. Excellent inventory and they generally have what I need except for today. Staff is very helpful and if they don't know, they go out of their way to find the answer. Clean and neat and well organized.

Just moved to the area and have been to this Lowe's 2x in a week. This past Tuesday I was offered help by someone in the garden section. Shepherds hook help. And it made my day honestly. Very helpful, above and beyond. Thank you whoever you are for making me feel welcome to the community. Love me some Lowe's!

Said employee trying to figure out the lift after realizing he couldn't pull down a steel grill. Embarrassing.

Lucky for me due to time of the year he was able to do my job immediately since I could not move into the home until the floors where completed. The crew was on time daily and professional. Bill called me daily to review the progress and returned my calls almost immediately when I called him. I had one issue with the toe mold color and when communicated to Bill he was gracious and the crew was out the next day to replace all of the molding. I grew up with a contractor…read morefather, so I have some familiarity with small businesses and specifically in the area of construction. First, he was slow to get back with phone calls, but I know how it is running a small business yourself and balancing a family, so I didn't fret over that. Then the day before he was supposed to do our install (and I had to call him to find this out), he cancelled... said somethings had happened and he had to juggle stuff. Again, I know how it is, so I was like... that's cool and we rescheduled for two weeks away. When he arrived with his crew the morning of install, he said he was having a bad morning as he hadn't tied down his saw well enough in the truck and it had smashed his window. He seemed distracted as we were going over things again... my husband and I had to say a few things twice. We have a slightly uneven spot under our fridge which we talked about previously and reminded him of and he said he would take care of that. Then he asked about the furniture... that we didn't want it in there during sanding... we asked if he would get to that today and he said maybe, so we said they could put it in the garage. My husband left for work and I was trying to finish getting ready for work and get my kids to church for their service projects(summer time) and then Bill seemed to be getting more and more frazzled. I was in the kitchen getting my lunch together and he starting saying he didn't know what he was going to do about the refrigerator. I said, can't you just move it to the dining room, then put it back after that part is done. He said he was worried about the sanding and I said, could we just cover it in plastic? He said, no he meant moving it after the floors have been sanded and it might leave a mark. Let me note here that I don't install or sand hardwood floors... this is why I hired a professional... my dads business was painting... THAT I can do... this, no. I didn't know what to say... I mean this is what HE (Bill) is here for... I suggested maybe putting down some plywood... we had a sheet in the garage. He kept mumbling about the refrigerator and then started saying that they don't move furniture and then looked at the stove and said with an exasperated tone, "And we're going to have to move out the stove!" I finally said, maybe you just don't want to do it? And he said maybe not... I was floored. REALLY? We had waited... we had been flexible... I told him he didn't mention anything about moving the furniture when he came to give the quote... that we were obviously living in the house, so what did he expect. He tried to tell me in every other install he's ever done in his supposedly 20 year career(though he looks a little young to have been doing this for 20 years... maybe he started at 15) that he never had to move furniture. I called BS. I told him he was supposed to be the professional, informing people about what they are expected to do is part of the job... I went on jobs with my dad... he ALWAYS did this... said exactly what he would do and what he needed them to do... so I told him if he didn't move furniture he should have said that when he gave us the quote. I also told him that the other professionals that gave us a quote mentioned the furniture and were either going to use the garage or one even brought in a truck to put it in temporarily so why would I think he was any different. Lesson learned, apparently I should have asked. I find a couple of things interesting. He didn't say this when my husband was still home. Why not? I feel like he was trying to bully me and thought he could get away with it which simply doesn't fly... My 15 year old daughter called it when she said he was acting like a 'total drama queen'. My words would be that he was acting very neurotic and a little crazy. I am completely disgusted. We took his bid because he lives in our development, so we thought we'd support a neighbor, and he came highly reviewed both here and by people in the development that touted him on our community FB page. I am so irritated and flabbergasted at his lack of professionalism. He needs to bone up on his communication. I would not recommend him to anyone in a million years.

While the salesman. Ed was great - we were lied to by corporate Home Depot. We ordered 12 Windows for our house using a 48 month no interest free payment.. within a day of ordering the salesman Ed called us back and said there was a mistake. It would be 36 months no interest free. We were OK with that. however, when I received my first statement that had the wrong months of payment plan I called to get it corrected and I was told by numerous people supervisors as well that they could not honor that 36 months interest-free payment. At this point it was too late to cancel the window order because it had been five weeks since we ordered the windows. So I just want everybody to be aware that they lie and not to trust them. If I had known this, I would've canceled the order and gone to Lowe's to get my windows. They never lie about their financing payment plans. so just beware even though they claim their manager, Tony Brennan would call me to straighten it out he never did and this was never corrected The Windows came and Home depot is now blaming the manufacturer for sending the wrong window when they should've checked the windows. So now we have to wait God knows how many more weeks to get the correct window.. So just beware they use a switch and bait technique to pull you in.
