I initially considered purchasing an LG washer and dryer from Lowe's, but ultimately decided against it due to their unwillingness to match LG's own promotions--and I'm glad I did. After doing my research, I found that LG was offering a much better deal directly through their website: free shipping, free haul away, free installation, and a $100 instant rebate when purchasing both the washer and dryer together. When I asked Lowe's if they would match these offers, they declined. That was disappointing, especially since these promotions were clearly available from the manufacturer. Because of that, I went ahead and purchased directly from LG--and ended up saving about $350 overall. The experience was smooth from start to finish. Delivery was on time, the team was professional, and everything arrived in pristine condition. Installation was included and handled efficiently, exactly as promised. The appliances themselves are excellent and perform as expected, but Lowe's lost a sale simply because they wouldn't stay competitive. In today's retail environment, that's a costly miss. Stopped at Lowe's to grab some essentials before the storm. The locations was pleasantly stocked (new shovels had just come out) with a variety of items. I absolutely love this Lowe's for its huge garden department. Now when I say huge I mean huge. They always have what I need in stock. There is a large variety of flowers, shrubs etc and they always look fresh and d well maintained. When i say they are bright and well watered they are. The employees there are helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like I'm getting a bang for my buck vs other locations. While this one is out of my way. I won't mind make the trip here. read more

Been in this Lowe's several times, usually to pick up online orders. Today I wanted to browse the plants. I'm 100% a novice when it comes to greenery, so I wasn't really looking for anything specific. I saw lots of pretty plants and trees, seemed like most for outdoors. I wanted something for the inside. Saw some pretty plants in the clearance section but some were in bad shape and I'm not sure I have the skills needed to nurse them back to health. I almost bought one but put it back when I saw the condition of the soil. They also had lots of berries and herbs. I'd definitely come back to make a purchase after doing some research. BEWARE: DO NOT PURCHASE CARPET AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FROM LOWES/SERVICE PROS! My purchase of carpet, padding and installation (through Service Pros) at Lowes has been a nightmare. I purchased it on Black Friday and am still trying to get the carpet installation scheduled. Two appointments have been scheduled. The first crew demanded more money for moving my bed halfway into moving the furniture, even though I had paid Lowes for furniture removal. They stood around, calling their manager, refusing to work until I paid. I refused to pay. 2nd team was scheduled but didn't show, allegedly because of a vehicle breakdown. Now I'm trying to get another appointment, but the next appointment isn't until Christmas Eve. Beware of buying carpet through Lowes. They do not stand behind their contract. Now I'm told that the ONLY CREW AVAILABLE IS THE ONE WHO DIDN'T SHOW AS SCHEDULED! No other options. The so-called Lowes Executive Customer Relations person I spoke to told me that was the only option I had, after speaking to management. When I asked him "Who" those parties were, he responded, "That's PROPRIETARY information.!" BEWARE: DO NOT BUY FROM LOWES! Service Pros doesn't have the capacity / manpower to install the carpet and they'll try to hold you hostage to pay more money for furniture moving once onsite, then and Lowes "Executive Customer Relations" Team won't back you up! With the pending major ice/snow storm and the owner of a small landscape business, I bought 1 skid (56bgs) of ice melt on 1/20/2026 and told the sales person that I would be back to pick it up. The next day on 1/21/2026 I bought another skid around 6pm. I specifically asked the sales person what was the inventory floor count and she said 154bgs. I said great sell me 1 skid (56bgs) and I will pick it up. Making the point that I would pick it up tomorrow morning many times with the other reserved skid. When I went the next morning to pick up the skids. They told me they only had 1. THEY SOLD the other skid that I had paid for out from under me. All the 2X mangers would say is we don't have it and we will refund it. I told them this damaged my reputation as a business owner due to my clients expecting a service specifically for emergency weather to keep their businesses open and cost me ALOT of money by not being able to provide this service and other supporting services that go with it. The managers did not take any accountability, did not offer any understanding nor any solutions. It was the most dis-ingenious experience I have ever encountered. The managers DO NOT have any understanding of how they support small businesses and in this case damaged a small business. They clearly felt that their would be no accountability for them selling my paid product out from under me. BE WARNED. read more

Lowe's put up an absolutely horrible ~25 foot demon at the entrance along with other Halloween paraphernalia around early August this year. My children were horrified. Home Depot has not yet. However, there aren't many minority or women employees working on the floor across different departments. The appliance department, in particular, has a high turnover rate due to micromanagement, underpay, and unclear job responsibilities set by the company. Corporate is frequently present, making this location a "highlight store," but that also means employees are often overworked, as the store is short-staffed across departments. Sales associates (aka Customer Service Associates) in appliances do not receive additional incentives, unlike sales specialists, who earn commissions. The sales specialists, especially in the appliance department, tend to be highly competitive which creates an uneasy environment. read more

The two women who take care of self checkout/ exit doors (older lady with white hair as well as a brunette with dark rimmed glasses) aren't the nicest people this past weekend. When bringing up stones, we were questioned if we took a photo of the price, and proceeded to roll her eyes and felt like we where bothering her from standing and talking to the other employee. Sent back to customer service were there was a catalog and the manager was very nice about ringing us up with no issues. Customers should not have to take photos for items the store sells to be rung up. We never have this issue with friendliness down the street at home depo. The self checkout women who stand by the doors need to be talked to about customer service. read more

Was able to get help here in the paint department that Home Depot wasn't able to give or scheduled for. I had questions about spray paint for a used chair and foot stool never using spray paint before needed advise. While the first person knew nothing was able to request help from another. The information given was useful for sure. Two cans were bought. I did have to go back and buy a third for spots missed while drying, this was not a problem since we did not have the dimensions on the first visit. I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars. . DON'T EVER EVER EVER EVER, go through Lowes for your counter top project services. While the CSRs who helped me get started were very nice, once their part was finished, and I was interacting with the "project" people, I was left out to dry. We purchased our countertops at Lowes. They use the contractor Sage surfaces, who then use another contractor, Stone interiors, as the fabricator. I purchased my countertops in beginning of March, I was told it would take approximately 6 weeks to complete. IT TOOK 19!!! Countertops weren't complete until July 10! This was after multiple mistakes by Stone Interiors. On the 1st attempt, the slab that holds the sink was measured wrong, then 2nd try the whole left side of my kitchen counters were crooked. One of the worst parts about this attempt was the installers left it like that and called it a day. I got home from work and couldn't believe my eyes. I called immediately and asked them about it because I was concerned about the backsplash not fitting correctly with the inconsistent distances to the studs. Their response to me was "If the backsplash installer knows what he's doing he will be able to make it work." They were very wrong, backsplash installer said there's no way I can install it with the countertops looking like this. We would have to move all electrical outlets forward. Also it wouldn't match the line of the wall so the backsplash would look tilted. When I confronted Lowes about all this, they sent me over to their "customer solutions" division. These are the people that were supposed to be my advocates though the rest of the journey. They weren't. They didn't care. I had to call them multiple times, in fact, in the middle of the process my adjuster left the company! Did anyone reach out to me to tell me? NOPE! I found out when I emailed her and my message automatically got forwarded to some general email address. Through this whole process LOWES didn't show any amount of concern. Multiple times I wanted to talk to a manager and I was told more than once about how they are "non-customer facing" employees and would not talk to me. It was suggested I tried calling and talking to the manager of a local store. I can't even tell you how many time I called the Huntersville store THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE - EVER!!!! Never talked to a manager. Attempted this at least 3 times. Two of these times customer service rep transferred me and I listened to a ringing line for at least 15 minutes before I decided to give up and hang up. I called right back and got a hold of that person at the customer service desk and asked her to please just walk to the manager and tell them there is a phone call. She said she couldn't do that and proceeded to transfer me again where it just rang and rang. After my countertops were complete I spoke to my so called advocates at the customer solutions division and let them know it was complete and that I wanted a substantial amount of compensation for this whole debacle. We spent almost $9,300 on countertops with Lowe's contractor for countertop, $13,000 total with Lowes (we also purchased backsplash and installation.) After months and months of dealing with this I finally got the call about the amount they were going to refund me for ALL the inconveniences. $500. $500, can you believe that???? That is from Sage surfaces. I expressed to Lowes that that was unacceptable. This is one of those times I wanted to speak to a manager, but they happen to be non-customer facing. It took me over a year to write this -- I am still mad and disappointed. Lowe's and local stores (Huntersville, NC) only care about making the sale. From my horrible experience, at this point, they then rely on inept, unskilled and unethical contractors for everything else and wash their hands of the customer. I experienced a nightmarish two month process to get carpet properly installed. Bought the carpet on July 26, 2019 (This went well but was all a sales push and the easy part). We picked a high quality carpet and the "best" suggested padding. Now the contractors moved in to provide poor service and failed installation. They set the install for August 12, 2019 -- first with a 8-12 install time, which was changed to 12-2 p.m. They actually showed up at 4 p.m. and left after 8 p.m. The person setting up the install and calling to change their arrival (apparently a work from home person with children in the background) said this team were the "good installers." We told her we could change the date and did not want a late day install when the installers were tired and worn out (their goal is to do as many installs in one day, not caring about quality or proper install). The team looked tired and spoke very little English (not an issue in and of itself, but when working in a mainly English speaking market area supporting English speaking customers, this IS an issue). They did a terrible job. The area consisted of two rooms and a landing or loft area. Cross-cut seams were put in high-traffic doorways. The carpet was crooked and cut short in places. When Lowe's measuring team came in to make exact measurements prior to install, they said we SHOULD only have 1 seam in the doorway of one bedroom in line with the carpet pattern. The same install team showed up the next few days with a hatchet and some other odd tools to "fix" the situation. We sent them away. We now made what seemed like 100s of calls to Lowe's, their contractor, etc. etc. They sent a quality control guy from the contractor that stated after viewing the carpet, "your vacuum cleaner may be tearing up your carpet." He said nothing of cross-cut seams and unprofessional install. They sent a "third party contractor" who said the install could be fixed (hmmm, fix cut carpet that is crooked and short??!) Finally on August 22, 2019, they sent a new team to "fix" the failed install. These guys took a look and said there was nothing they could do. The install was too bad and should have NEVER been done this way. Lowe's and contractor FINALLY agreed to reinstall the carpet properly. On September 16, 2019, they sent a mature and skilled team who got it right. They installed the carpet with one seam, straight and with no edge gaps. They showed up on time, did the job right, cleaned up and left. Not sure why we had to live the nightmare prior to this, but Lowe's needs some serious review of their contractors, process and customer service. They have the sales part down. I have not stepped inside a Lowe's since September 2019. I never will. My family and friends never will. Sad when the company HQ is just up the road. I would like to support North Carolina and my neighbors, but I can't after this horrible experience. Unforgivable. read more

It always seems difficult lately to find people to help me. Maybe because I come in during the week. One time, corporate was obviously there, and not one of them acknowledged me or asked if I needed help as I wandered around aimlessly looking lost. I suppose I could have asked them, but it kind of speaks volumes when they are oblivious to their surroundings. They are to be an example. I ordered a fire pit table for my wife's birthday and after 15 days, I get a notice that the product was returned due to damages during the transit. I service rep apologized and said that they would credit my account and send me one free of charge since it missed my wife's birthday. When o asked for a document in writing, she put me on hold for 20 minutes and told me that she no longer could send me one. When I email customer care at the corporate office, the person calling said that he felt very bad about it and apologized but was willing to monitor my account for a full credit which will take 28 days. I have become a staple in Lowe's. The knowledgeable staff members are ever present to assist with purchase decisions. They have taught me to ask myself 10 questions before I visit to make what I thought were simple purchases. Measurements are a must and photos are a great backup. I appreciate that all employees are well versed on what, where, and how things work. I have yet to visit an not be assisted in a pleasant manner. If the employee doesn't know, they radio to someone else for assistance and stay with me to ensure my questions are answered and my purchased items are exactly what I need. Hello- I went to the lowes in Huntersville NC yesterday after having two bad experiences. Figured we could give them one more shot. Certainly wish we didn't! I did an in store pickup for a grill, grill cover, electric starter and charcoal. I then chatted into Lowes to ask how long before it's ready, and then said 30 minutes. Well we wanted to give them the benefit of doubt and we waited nearly 2 hours before heading to Lowes to pickup our order. Well we walk in and there was one lady working the whole customer service and return counter!!! There were about 4-5 customers waiting for returns or pick ups! She finally came over to us and we told her we were there for in store pick up, and she apologized the order was not ready. She got on her radio to ask for help, and someone came over who does not work in that department. He asked her if the order was in the back, and she said no he had to get it together off the floor... Then he tells us to follow him so we can help him!!! Excuse me? We did in store pickup to have this be an easy process. I then said "you have the skus right?" And he proceeded to say, "Well I do, but I normally don't help this department." So I looked at other customers and they were blown away he asked too. Figured I was getting pranked so I went with it! Low and behold the LOWES employee, my wife and I were going up and down the isles gathering our items that should of been ready! Well the grill was on the top shelf, so the employee went and got a ladder. Climbed up the ladder, and of course the grill was to heavy (hello, it's steel). So then he had to go find a power lift.... He drove it over, and literally stood there trying to figure it out!!! (See attachment) Finally got it down, and brought everything on one of those long flat carts. Well we wanted to get 2 patio chairs And a small table. The customer service employee to be politically correct was a small person, so I kindly asked if we should get the set. So my wife and I went back and fourth carrying the chairs and the table to the customer service counter. Now you can imagine, we have the flat bed full of products, 2 chairs and a table. She then didn't even ask if we needed help carrying things out. So I had too. (Keep in mind, while I stood in the isle arms folded with a scowl on my face, a group of "suits" or managers/executives from Lowes walked by and didn't stop to address my look or concern.) I would be SO embarrassed to work at this location. It's a zoo. Finally some jerk came up front and started heading to the wrong door. I said "sir, my wife pulled up to the exit over here." He said," you need to pull up to this entrance." Are you kidding me? There is no signange saying where to pull up for pickup!!!! Also how would we know, because he wanted us to exit through the entrance anyways! Finally, we get everything outside, and he walks away!!!!! So I had to lift the "team lift" grill of 80+lbs in the car myself. Thank god I didn't get injured. Well come to find out the chairs were to big, and after 5 minutes of trying to make them fit and countless Lowes employees coming outside saying "you got this! It'll fit" and never asking for help, I went BACK inside and asked if they had a small Allen wrench set so I could take apart the set. Again, no one offered to help. So now my wife and I sat in the front of the store dissembling two patio chairs. Lowe's, like Home Depot, is a big box retailer of home supplies and building supplies for the Pro and the do-it-yourself-er. I always considered Lowe's better for the softer side of things (e.g. lighting, facets) with Home Depot aimed more at the Pro (e.g. copper pipe, lumber). Pros: Friendly staff ( helps that the HQ is in nearby Mooresville), Clean, Open, Good Pricing, and well stocked shelves. Cons: Location, Location, Location. Heavens forbid you need to go east on RT-73 after your shopping. Overall - I go here because it is close to where I live and it has a better selection than the HD down the road. I have a love/hate relationship with this Lowes. Some of the departments are severely understaffed and it can be a real chore finding someone to assist you. For example one time it took over 35 minutes to get a piece of plexi-glass cut. However, every time we shop in the lumber department we are more than pleased. Their large wood cutter has never been out of service when we've been there and the gentlemen in that department always help us picking out the best pieces of wood. Since the remodel of this store (I believe it is a test or flagship idea) the layout is much more visually appealing. All in all this store is a hit or miss. read more

The customer service representative sounded as if she either just woke up or too high to be working. After repeating my number 6 times and her moaning and groaning and being completely disrespectful I hung up to call the store where I purchased. He directed me back to same number that I had called saying that I would not get the same service rep. My husband called back, and he was just as frustrated, as he talked to the same representative. I reached out to Lowes for a pool fence install and when the job was completed, the pool fence was not completed to code as there was a huge gap under the fence in a few areas. Their response is that because of the slope of the yard, that they cannot close that gap. Even though they walked the property with me and tole me that the fence would go all the way down to the ground with no gap. Please do not purchase any products from Lowes as they do not hold up their end of the bargain. They just want your money! read more

Where to start? We ordered a $10,000 dollar flooring job in the middle of may and were "promised" even though it was "special order" it would be here the first week of June "at the latest". We had everything planned to where we could move out the end of June. Then we are sent an email the week of the 6th that "we could install the flooring around the 22nd".... WHAT!?!?! We went back and forth with corporate and they said the product would be here "by the 7th/8th" and they were going to work with service pro (their installer) to install the flooring and then come back later and install the "back ordered transitions", and that the flooring would be delivered Monday, 6/11. We were told they would give a 2 hour delivery window to deliver the flooring and allow it to "acclimate", even though the store told us no acclamation would be needed. Next, we get an automated call from the DC at 8:11 am on the "delivery date" to tell us that the flooring will be delivered between "8 and 10 am". WTF? I live 15 minutes away and you let me know 15 minutes after the start of the delivery window that I need to be there now? Keeping in mind the only communication thus far is that they were originally going to push our install date out 3 weeks. I call and complain that I am being told *after* the start of the "delivery window" that I need to be there ASAP. Nothing beyond this was communicated during our call. Next, 10:15 am rolls around and there is no delivery..... Needless to say I am livid at this point. I call to find out where this flooring is and I am told now, by the same idiots that I spoke with earlier, that the flooring isn't even in Charlotte and it is back ordered and will not arrive until the following week. Even though corporate was told a week earlier the flooring was "there" and would be delivered the following week. Finally, we went to the start on 6/11 and pulled the order. I recommend if you want flooring, you chose anyone other than Lowes and US flooring. I have only dealt with this level of incompetence from the DMV, and that should tell you something. Not only has Lowes lost the 10k flooring job they were already paid for, but they also lost a customer for life. I will never darken their doors again. We still had a major bathroom project, door change and back patio project left to do. But I can assure you I will never given them my business again. Not once has anyone been that sympathetic that not only were we misinformed/lied to multiple times through the process, or that we now have to extend our lease and pay for another month of rent because they refused to even let us know, after we specifically asked and confirmed that our flooring could be installed by the middle of the month. Feel free to use them at your own risk. And to Lowes, maybe you should listen to your customers and you wouldn't have so many issues with cratering stock process. Laying off half the local corporate workforce isn't the answer to sheer ineptitude at the local store level. read more

Went to get flowers yesterday. I see a sign that says "2 for $10" for hanging baskets. I think, "this can't be right" because they were beautiful flowers. I find a woman watering flowers next to me, so I ask her for assurance. This old hag says to me "it's not my job to know these things. I'm hired to water flowers and not deal with this... ARELENE! ARE YOU NEAR?" I look at my husband BAFFLED. I guess "Arlene" shows up and has an attitude. She immediately takes down the sign and says "No, these are only for 1.5 gallon baskets, these are 2.5 gallons" and walks away. No where did it even have basket weights listed. Were we supposed to lift it and assume it's more than 1.5lbs? Anyhow... we are in the checkout lane. I have been wronged by the PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DEPT (and I use the word "professional" lightly) After spending about $6K on installed laminate flooring over a slab, I noticed that when they installed the flooring they removed the toilet in the half-bath (that is normal) - but what is NOT normal is that they cut through the closet bolts AND THEN USED THE SAME BOLTS - meaning they just placed the CUT bolts back.... (meaning the toilet was not really being held tight to the floor and the plumbing by anything other than gravity - not exactly up to code...) Now, I understand that mistakes and omissions happen, etc, but when I point something as shotty as this out to Lowe's I expect them to share in my horror at the poor workmanship and make good on getting it taken care of. Once I discovered this issue, I immediately took the old toilet off myself and cleaned the area up. I bought a new toilet, (expecting lowes to send someone out to install the new toilet as they would have the old one - new wax ring, etc.) INSTEAD, what I got was a curt and annoyed service manager who said, "Well, since we can't see the actual toilet, we don't know if what you are saying is true..." huh?? Are you kidding? I cleaned up the area so it would be EASIER for them to come and do their job... I could not believe that she said that. I explained that I spent over $6K on the floor to begin with and that I average over $3K in additional business normally over any given year. She didn't want to hear it.... so let's do the math... Over $9K in business was "flushed" by being called a liar by the service manager - over what was probably a $150 job... I only shop at HOME DEPOT NOW.... Bye bye Lowe's.... read more

Pam, the store manager was on of the rudest people I ever had the pleasure dealing with, purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator, was delivered sun, but was wrong fridge. Brought the right one out Monday and the ice side was not working. So the 9 dollar an hour delivery guy took it apon his shelf to take the door off that had the ice machine on it and swap it out with out me knowing and then it still didn't work. Go to the store to try to fix the problem and Pam had the odasity to smerk at me when I was trying to explan this to her. How can they swap out the ice machine side door and not ask me first. Now i am told to call the lg repair man and they will fix it. Unreal. Will never buy anything from this store or any other lowes. read more

Do not order your appliances from Lowes. Made the mistake of doing it twice. Was told everything would be delivered on a certain day. One came, the rest wasn't on the truck. Was given a 4 hour delivery time frame for the next. day and then called to get an update and was told we had cancelled it. Never did that. Just cancelled the purchase.
