    Purchased refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and microwave. Customer service in store was fantastic. The appliances were delivered and installed. All was okay until I observed a big chunk taken out of my countertop and a deep scratch on the dishwasher. No one told me. In addition, the delivery team left trash and debris in the street. I found three screws. If it weren't for these issues, I would have given them five stars.

    I'm a pretty frequent customer at THD depending on the project I have in progress at any given time. This store is conveniently located off I-77 exit 25, not far from Target, Whole Foods and Birkdale. They generally have everything I need in a big box store when I can't wait to receive items in the mail. Of course you pay more, but it is what it is. Staff is always willing to help and I love the self checkout option. Parking is never a problem either.

    Stopped at Home Depot to grab some winter storm essentials. Store was moderately full of people, but not overcrowded. A store associate asked me if I needed help with anything and I inquired about salt. Glad she did because they were one of the last stores that I found with salt in stock. Last one of two bags. Located in its own area with plenty of parking available. Store associates were very helpful and were ready to assist when called upon or even when customers are looking confused. LOL! Would definitely recommend taking a stop there if in the area!

As any reasonable customer would, I asked for a breakdown of the cost and an explanation of how he determined that this specific part was the cause of the problem. He was unable to explain and instead dismissed my questions by saying the washer was old. I followed up by calling the company directly and asked how the same part for a 2004 washer could be found online for around $200. The supervisor responded that they purchase parts from a "reputable website." When I explained that the part I found was an OEM part from a reputable source, no explanation was given for the significant price difference. I then requested to speak with a manager, owner, or someone higher up, but was repeatedly told that no one was available. At no point was a clear diagnosis, justification, or cost breakdown provided. This experience gave the impression that the company assigns inflated, arbitrary prices without being able to clearly explain the root cause of the issue or justify their diagnosis--yet expects customers to blindly trust them. After reading other reviews, I noticed a consistent pattern of similar complaints. At this point, it's clear the issue is not the customers.

The tech took off the front of my stackable washer and dryer and in less than 5 minutes said I had a loose washer belt. I asked him how he knew because he didn't run a diagnostic test or anything, he said he just did. The tech said it would cost $250 to fix it and this seemed very high to me. I called Yuri to inquire a price for the belt and a teacher discount. Yuri would not give me the price of the belt, so I quickly Googled washer belts and they are under $40. I asked why the price was so high and he said labor starts at $225 and that was baseline. I asked why that wasn't disclosed with me over the phone on Sunday and he said the company doesn't do that. So, overall a price for the belt was not provided and only a $5 teacher discount was offered. I decided not to move forward with this company. I do not recommend them and will not be telling friends to use them. I was informed, even with a receipt the cost of the product would not be provided.

But when we went to check out our product at home and see if it works. The fridge didn't even cool. It didn't even make ice and it also didn't want to freeze anything. The prices are almost as a new fridge and yet they're selling you. Fridge is that doesn't work and we tried to be nice about it and asked about anyway that they could fix it or that we could fix it and they told us absolutely not. You have to call the warranty and wait for it..... all the warranty places we called for this fridges said that all of these fridges do not fall on their warranty, and that they don't know how the store bought them..... it's honestly overall a very sketchy store , and the customer service representative aren't good at all. One of the girls literally ignored us and walked off and we were talking to them. And again before anybody in this team, says we were being rude to these girls. We literally have calls and you guys have cameras. We were being nothing but nice to these girls and we even spent the money on the fridge. And we still paid the difference between fridges when they try to provide us with something else. Honestly to this owner, I would recommend you Get better employees. After posting my review, the manager took the time to personally call me and send an Email providing a detailed explanation addressing the reason for the significant price increase. Because of the way CLT Appliance handled my concerns, I want to update my previous review. My original concern was regarding the pricing of a repair and the inconsistent explanations I received about why the cost had increased significantly compared with my previous repair and a recent quote from the company. I want to be clear that my concern was not with the technician. He was professional, courteous, arrived on time, and completed the repair well. After reviewing my feedback, the manager from CLT Appliance reached out to discuss my concerns. I appreciate that the company took the time to listen and address the situation rather than dismissing my feedback. I also appreciated that my initial conversation with the manager's assistant was escalated and handled promptly. The manager reviewed my concerns, provided additional clarification regarding the pricing, acknowledged my frustration, and worked with me to resolve the issue. CLT Appliance ultimately refunded the $125 difference that was the source of my concern. I appreciate a company that is willing to listen to customers, take accountability, and make things right. While my initial experience left me frustrated, the way CLT Appliance responded afterward demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. I also want to again recognize the technician who performed the repair. He was professional and did excellent work. I didn't have a phone for three weeks. But it was the best three weeks of my life. So, all good. And this was a different employee. On this visit, Michael was patient, knowledge, and sure did like to keep the phone clean with that blue rag. I might start doing this myself. As far as negative reviews, always click on their account to see what they're all about. Every review is 1-star or 2-star for those reviewers. Just miserable and entitled people. My reviews are very balanced, and I'm giving you the truth. If you want a new iPhone, go here. If you want help with an iPhone problem, you might find it easier to go to one of those little non-affiliated shops in the area that use the word 'Apple' in their store name.
