People aren't super3/5 stars based on several visits- I like the monthly crafts they put on for children- That's a great community engagement that is well loved--- Other than that, I've not experienced amazing customer service at this location on average- Sometimes, yes, but it's inconsistent I've found- but they have a pretty big selection of items, which you'd expect. The curbside is not efficient- even when I tried to get ahead of the game and called when I was on my way, they wouldn't have it ready for me they said to call when I arrived- so I called as I was parking and here I am 7 min later still waiting after I provided my order number to have it all ready to load. Alright- it's being loaded - yay! I had to move closer to the loaders for their own convenience but it beats me lugging kids inside and trying to do it with them - read more

If I could give this business less than one I would. Very disappointed with corporate Home depot. After having a great experience, ordering a sliding door last year, we figured hey, let's go in order new windows for the house. While the salesman. Ed was great - we were lied to by corporate Home Depot. We ordered 12 Windows for our house using a 48 month no interest free payment.. within a day of ordering the salesman Ed called us back and said there was a mistake. It would be 36 months no interest free. We were OK with that. however, when I received my first statement that had the wrong months of payment plan I called to get it corrected and I was told by numerous people supervisors as well that they could not honor that 36 months interest-free payment. At this point it was too late to cancel the window order because it had been five weeks since we ordered the windows. So I just want everybody to be aware that they lie and not to trust them. If I had known this, I would've canceled the order and gone to Lowe's to get my windows. They never lie about their financing payment plans. so just beware even though they claim their manager, Tony Brennan would call me to straighten it out he never did and this was never corrected The Windows came and Home depot is now blaming the manufacturer for sending the wrong window when they should've checked the windows. So now we have to wait God knows how many more weeks to get the correct window.. So just beware they use a switch and bait technique to pull you in. But the minute I mentioned $80,000 worth of windows for a custom home, they eagerly replied right away with me to do even further work by going to their website. GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE I COULD NOT GIVE ZERO!!! Bought a new Murray lawn tractor and bagger with free delivery. When the truck pulled up and the guys got I out I spoke to them but they didn't say a word to me, cause they had a I hate my job, my life, the world look on their faces. Then it took them 10 minutes to re-arrange the truck to be able to get my mower out. Once it was on the ground one of them bluntly said to me "Where you want it at?" I said in the garage along the truck, but he put it on horizontally leaving me little room to walk around it, much less any way to get it off the metal frame it came on. One of them took a photo of the delivery, then they packed up and left without saying a word a word, no Thank You, no nothing. Damn, if you hate your job and dealing with people that bad, then quit and go get another one! My wife and then had to tug and pull the mower into a vertical position so I could get it off the frame. Wish I had looked at Home Depot reviews before I ordered as all of them in my area have 2.5 stars at best and 1.5 stars on the corporate website, which just goes to show how far down hill Home Depot customer service has gone. This was the sorry assed customer service I got for the $2600 I spent which just proves Home Depot does not give a damn about its customers!! Purchased refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and microwave. Customer service in store was fantastic. The appliances were delivered and installed. All was okay until I observed a big chunk taken out of my countertop and a deep scratch on the dishwasher. No one told me. In addition, the delivery team left trash and debris in the street. I found three screws. If it weren't for these issues, I would have given them five stars. read more

They did not answer me but other shoppers directed me to another counter. With customer service like that, no need to wonder why Home Depot had much fewer shoppers. I'm a pretty frequent customer at THD depending on the project I have in progress at any given time. This store is conveniently located off I-77 exit 25, not far from Target, Whole Foods and Birkdale. They generally have everything I need in a big box store when I can't wait to receive items in the mail. Of course you pay more, but it is what it is. Staff is always willing to help and I love the self checkout option. Parking is never a problem either. read more

Stopped at Home Depot to grab some winter storm essentials. Store was moderately full of people, but not overcrowded. A store associate asked me if I needed help with anything and I inquired about salt. Glad she did because they were one of the last stores that I found with salt in stock. Last one of two bags. Located in its own area with plenty of parking available. Store associates were very helpful and were ready to assist when called upon or even when customers are looking confused. LOL! I recently visited to rent one of their trucks. I got the flatbed for $19.95 that included 75 minutes. Extra time thereafter is assessed on top of the initial cost. You must leave a $150 deposit on your card that is credited upon return of the vehicle if there are no incidents. All rentals are first-come, first-served. The truck helped me with the job at hand and I had no issues driving it. While there, I picked up some blinds and garage hooks. I had to seek out assistance which wasn't an issue because there were few customers in the store around 7:30 PM on a Wednesday evening. If you need a truck or van, try this location. You will want to plan early on a Saturday. read more

This is the last time I will use Home Depot for anything. Not only have I spent over 200k at Home Depot this year for my business my wife has spent over $20,000 dollars on our personal home alone at the Home Depot. Recently she bought a washer and dryer for our summer house we have recently purchased. Come to find out Home Depot hires installers that are no qualified to install. Seems like they'll hire anyone off the street. They decided to send one of these people to install washer and dryer in our house, come to find out they didn't know what they where doing because the dryer blew up the day it was used. Not only did it ruin our dryer but it ruined our laundry room completely. Picture a gun shot inside your house to wake up your sleeping new born and the smell of smoke to cause your wife to run out of the house in distress. We have contacted the following. Home Depot which told us to contact Maytag. Maytag then said due to improper installation they cannot cover it and to contact Home Depot. Call Home Depot and they say they can't do anything about it to file a report with their insurance company sedgwick. Now we contact the insurance and they told us they only cover anything done to the house and to contact Home Depot for a new dryer. Now I'm here contacting Home Depot once again. Home Depot is telling me to contact sedgwick again and that they will have to cover the dryer. So basically after a week of back and fourth and no dryer a new born baby with no to little clothing a extremely pissed off wife and a broken laundry room has led to my next call to the wonderful group of attorneys I have on retainer for my businesses and a call to a few people at the better business bureau. The fact that Home Depot or the managers and people that work with them don't find this an issue where it could have not only burned down a 2 million dollar home but injured multiple people on the house is absolutely INSANE. Carlton benwa the manager at this location was absolutely useless as well as the assistant manager Valerie. Home Depot had a promotion of 12 months, free financing and since we had replaced all except two windows with energy efficient systems, decided to to ahead and complete the cycle. Took forever to schedule the installation but finally accomplished this week. Went to the store this weekend and made first payment. Wife had a question as to how to increase the setting of a Hot Water Heater and asked a sales associate the same question. Big mistake because he spent 30 minutes trying to upsell her while I spent 30 minutes trying to get her out of the store. Increasing the temperature on a hot water heater is just a matter of adusting two dails (upper and lower element) and going from there. read more

Tried to order all new kitchen appliances at our local Lowe's. Even brought diagram and sizes that would fit. Gave it to a woman in the Appliance dept - (no criticism - as I am also female). Waited a month and never heard back from her. Went to Home Depot and ordered all four pieces at discounted prices. Had to wait a couple months for them to arrive but at least I have beautiful new appliances in my kitchen. P.S. still no word from the lady in Lowe's that I see regularly as Lowe's is sooo much closer to our home. Customer Service can be a hit-and-a-miss everywhere but a return phone call to order over $7k in appliances is a no-brained! I did most of the work researching what would fit.... Pleased with my first real experience with Home Depot. As I'm planning my upcoming move, I'm buying a new dining room table & chairs from IKEA. The chairs are a boring pine, so I decided to paint them "grass green." Enter in Home Depot. They weren't busy at all, as it was almost 5 PM on a weekday. The employee at the paint counter greeted me immediately & I gave him the paint sample. He walked me through getting the primer & how long to wait for each step in the process of painting - prime, wait, paint, wait. Hey, this is important stuff! I needed to know exactly what to do to prevent any screw ups. I didn't have to wait too long. I used self-checkout & I was on my way. Prices for the paint & primer came to $53, which isn't too bad, I suppose. There were plenty of employees milling about the floor & I was happy to see a clean store. I can tell you from experience do not buy an appliance from Home Depot. I will buy small items I need, just out of convenience and convenience only. I bought a brand new Amana refrigerator for My 82 yr old Mother from Home Depot. It worked about 2 weeks and then it stopped cooling. We called Home Depot who told us we have to go thru the repair company to get it fixed. Just so So you know, you can no longer return a defective appliance after 3 days according to the people I spoke to. We waited 2 weeks without a fridge to have the repair people tell us it needs a new compressor! They don't have one in stock and will have to order one. I decided to let the Home Depot manager know in case they wanted to rectify the situation and they told me they would sell me another fridge while I wait on the (New broken one) to be repaired! What happened to customer service in America! Can some one tell me! So from now own, before I buy a big item I'm gonna check to see what the process is like to get it fixed when it breaks within 30 days. If they can't replace it with new, then I'm going somewhere else. Might as well have bought a used one off Craigslist for 1/4 the price! This is rediculous! The gentleman at the help desk, Ray I believe, was the absolute worst human being to speak to. He was exceptionally rude from the moment I stepped up to ask a question, made incredibly demeaning comments about customers not understanding that items have numbers to identify them, and when I informed him that I had verified the item numbers already, he scoffed and said he doubted that. When he then checked the number himself and saw that I was correct, all he said was he would ask a manager but he would have to do it later. I left at that point. Do not hire Home Depot for window installs! I hesitantly hired them after reading negative reviews and was assured "not at Huntersville location". Also I gave them benefit of doubt that only angry people post reviews.....especially when that's the pitch they threw at me when i questioned them specifically on service and installation. Well I suppose I'm one of those angry people today. Mind you I post a lot of reviews on other sites and most are only positive! At any rate just be forewarned they will schedule and then cancel, they will refuse to respond or communicate. They send shotty contractors out for installation and then defend them. I had new windows installed the week of Memorial Day and the project was not finalized until December!! Unacceptable...especially considering I had to call them for EVERY follow up or plan to complete. Never again. read more

I visited this Home Depot for some pipes to make a ballet bar. The associates were attentive, the person who cut the pipes was friendly. Overall no issues. I struggled finding the pipes, but someone quickly helped me. Checkout was so easy. I love being able to do self-checkout. Ridiculous day at Home Depot. We were looking for cabinets for our new garage. It took five people and several trips around the store to be waited on. " Go up front, no go out back". Then after spending over $1,000 we called when we got home to see if there was any special financing like Lowe's offers 5% or 12 months same as cash. Called in the credit line and they said they had no idea how financing works they just take payments. So went to Lowe's ( whom by the way we just purchased over 10 k for the new home ). Very helpful and price matched and offered 5% off. Called in to cancel the Home Depot order and they refused-to cancel it. Said only option was to refuse delivery in three weeks!!! Needless to say they will not be getting more of our business in the future. read more

I love coming to this location to get things in a hurry. The store is always nice and clean and never out of place. The parking lot is usually empty so you can usually find a spot easily in the front. You can get in and out what you are looking for with no pesky employees asking you for help every 5 feet. In fact I walked by 5 including one walking by as I was walking in and two talking while I was at self checkout. Not a hello or find everything ok? In and out no hassle with front row parking. However if you do have a big project you might go across the street to Lowe's where you can get answers for your projects. read more

As somebody who is new to painting interior rooms, I was lucky to have gone to this store to get all of my painting accessories. The gentleman who helped me (I forgot his name! ): ) was very attentive, polite, helpful, and practical. He helped me pick out Behr Marquee and the color samples I wanted. He showed me how to use the touch-screen computer. He also informed me about all the things I needed to know and how to save money. What a sweetheart! I felt like the atmosphere and help you see on Home Depot commercials was manifested in real life. Lol. Anyway! Wish I lived closer to this location. Nice store! read more
