I wish I could give negative stars!! I Purchased a Nintendo Switch Metroid Prime 4 eGift card at the Target in Huntersville on 12/21/25. The Target app receipt showed no download code, making the card unusable. When I returned on 12/22/25, two managers refused to take ownership of what was clearly a Target system issue and repeatedly told me to call Target's 1-800 number and Nintendo instead of resolving it in-store. I had to argue and advocate for myself before they finally fixed the issue--something that should have been handled immediately. Extremely poor management, wasted time, and zero accountability. I do not recommend purchasing any gift cards from all Target locations. Target keeps adding to list why they're no longer a trusted retailer. read more

Target is addictive but so much fun shopping there. My cashier had a surprise visit from her daughter wishing her a Happy Valentine's Day. Love is love. My purpose was to check out their Black History Month displays. They do a good job in my opinion of showcasing our global neighbors with unique items not found anywhere else. Custoner service is good. Cashiers are helpful and might just walk you to the item location you saw online. Prices are comparable and have good value. I love Target (spoken with a French accent) and this one is nice. It's no secret that like many places, Target is no longer requiring masks inside the store. Most customers and employees are taking advantage of this option. This store is usually well stocked, and I love their drive up service. I notify them that I'm headed to the store when I leave, and they always have my items outside on the cart. I've done drive up at other locations and the service was not as fast. I'm writing this review right now because I'm playing in an online poker tournament and it froze about 25 minutes ago. Update: Tourney froze for everyone and never came back. It was a freeroll for me (I can make money without paying an entry fee) and I was above the average stack. Oh well. What could I tell you that's exciting about Target? Hmm.... Someone to my left sneezed. That was exciting on a relative basis. What else??? I saw employees putting stuff on shelves while pretending I wasn't there (and pretending everyone else wasn't there). And I took pictures of televisions! I will likely hit another Walmart next. ive work here for 3 almost 4 years the last couple of years form management team have brought me nothing but emotional distress and even so harass you . they don't give you grace or a raise , you receive overly heavy work load while being under paid ,under staff. the don't offer your desired availability and will threaten to fire you over serious personal inconvenience even if you reached out letting them know. they let a lot of there lazy worker get away with stuff and antagonise the one that actually come do there job and job that aren't even their responsibilities, or they do thing like taking you off the schedules without warning after some may live farther than others.VERY inconsiderate! most of the management sit around and gossip about other team members and only cater to team lead staff . they do nothing to support the team or even make worth your while to want to come to work they just hand you their ass to kiss . A bit newer feel than before the fire. Back in May 2017, a suspicious fire occured at this store that forced them to close for repairs and restocking for over a month. They reopened and I've been back twice, the longest this past Saturday. Can't place my finger on it but something is different. The old Target was getting a bit dated and it showed. The new Target is fresh again and it's more than just a coat of paint. Lighting is better and when they restocked, the selection is a much improved. Store almost feels like it's new. The Starbucks and the Pizza Hut also seem revived. Sorry for the fire but it's actually better since they reopened. read more

This store is a little iffy. Sometimes the lines are extremely long, sometimes they're quick and short. I went into target for a few things I needed... and as I was walking through the beauty and health departments, I saw how neat one of the hair care products sections was. I mean, super neat. Displays like this are much appreciated by people like me. Everything looks good, is in its right spot for the most part and items are easy to find. Other targets should pick up on the neatness of this display. I've also never experienced a clearance section until this visit. I wish those items were displayed in a manner that makes it easier to look through them or at them. Having to dig through containers... can't say that was my cup of tea. This location generally has everything in stock, for the most part. I've rarely seen empty shelves or had any issues here. read more

Most times I can find something here, in stock, versus the Target near my home. 98% of the time, everything is neat & organized & you can find what you're looking for. It's always easy to try on clothing, because they have the fitting rooms "manned" by a team member. Checkout can be a pain sometimes, because of so much customer traffic. This is an "Eh' Target location. They get major props for their excellent women's clothing section. Generous racks of clearance and regular priced items. There is also a pretty sweet Starbucks with friendly staff. The grocery section leaves much to be desired. It's not a SuperTarget so the grocery aisles are quite abbreviated and really tight to get down. I'm a pretty small person and I went down the cereal aisle with a cart and I was the only one who could (barely) comfortably fit down it. The other departments in home and beauty are also pretty small. This location is best left for running in and out, not made for 'getting-lost-in-the-aisles' shopping. read more

Target to me is a clean Walmart. This particular site was recently updated to turn it into a quasi Super Target. The closest "real' Super Target for me is in Mooresville, NC. Atmosphere- Red, bright, modern, clean, young, renovated feeling. Selection - Since this is not an officially titled Super Target, but darn close to it, there is a full grocery section. But I do not recall much of a produce section. Maybe that is what makes the Mooresville site "Super" and this one...average. Oh, there is a Starbucks here for you coffe drinkers. Parking - Parking is ample here. What not is ample is the ability to get back onto RT-73 East. Please NC, please make this a four lane road...soon! Overall - While this is a great place to shop, it is also awful due to the traffic situation. But, due to the proximity to my house this place is in my Target...har-har-har! read more

A total nightmare- This store is by far the worst Target I have visited. Store is a mess! The cashiers are SLOW and in no hurry. I headed to grab some breadsticks at the little cafe, behind 3 others waiting ...and waiting...and waiting. One of the customers went to Starbucks to get help with service and apparently the employee was in the back doing dishes. When she came out from the back, she acted put out that people were waiting. I agree that the fire improved things visually, but the parking lot is horrendous, the lines are long and slow and the service is just meh. I have done Target runs at this location and even getting to the pull up spots is a challenge. I honestly only use this location if I have to. All the aisles were super tight, like could barely get two carts by each other. There were boxes piled up all over. I know shelves have to be stocked and whatnot but it was a hazard in my opinion. This might not be a Super Target, but it has everything that I seem to need...except for music overhead. Why, Target, why must you have us shop in uncomfortable silence or with kids crying in the background? I digress. If you want to do a full grocery shopping trip then this would not be the place for you, but it has a lot of the basics. The employees have always been helpful whenever I needed help finding something. The store itself has a nice layout and is easy to get around in. And I love using the Cartwheel app! Went to the huntersville target last week for several items. I was very pleased with the customer service I received by 2 workers at customer service. I feel they went out of their way to help me do my return and order another item. I had asked another employee to help me order she said she couldn't. To go to guest services. When we moved to the area I was happy to see that there was a Target only a few minutes from our place. I prefer Target to Wal-Mart as it is generally a bit cleaner and much less busy. It's a great place to find most everyday items at a good price. Their clothing line is pretty good and whenever the miss' tells me to get some new duds, this is where I'll be going. There is a small grocery section so if I need to get some general merchandise as well as pick up some food, I don't need to make a second trip to Harris Teeter or Food Lion. My biggest complaint is the lack of a decent hardware section. I ended up having to make a second trip to Loews to pick up some stuff that Target did not carry. We also had a problem with the cashier today. The miss' tried paying with a gift card but the cashier was insisting it didn't work. The problem was that she never hit the "gift card" button on the register. So she has the miss' scratching off the gift card's number to try and read it to her, and she's acting like it's our fault for giving her a messed up card. So when I looked at her screen and realized she was entering the gift card's number into the "cash amount" section, I carefully explained what the problem "might" be. She realized the mistake, hit the gift card button, scanned it, and it worked like it should. Instead of thanking me or apologizing for the holdup, she thanked the miss' for scratching off the numbers because "that did the trick", even though she scanned the card and never used the numbers. But one crazy cashier isn't enough to judge a whole store by. I'll still be going here when I need clothes, gifts, or other items and I'll just be sure to avoid the wacko mentioned above. read more

I just went to see what iPhones were available. I asked an employee if this location had any iPhone 12s. She said she didn't know because the tech specialist wasn't there. I asked about another model as well. She and another employee told me they didn't know and didn't even try to find someone else to assist. They then proceeded to talk amongst each other casually. One of my favorite reasons for going here was the clearance sections/endcap displays. They're nothing like they used to be. They had some of the most awesome clearance items and prices, but ever since they remodeled after the "fire" (kid set off sprinklers) a few years back, it's lousy now. And the electronics section has gradually been downsized over time. There isn't much here you can't find at Wal-Mart, and cheaper. The layout of the store is fine, but it could definitely use a refresh. I'll say they have some of the cleanest public bathrooms I've been in, and I appreciate that. And the employees will ask if you need help. I mainly just go here for the Starbucks now. read more

Poor customer service. My phone was handed into Customer Service, given my name, and said they would keep the phone safe. Well in a 4 hour period, they lost the phone or an employee stole it. They did nothing and didnt even offer an apology. It's now in the hands of the police department. Will never go there again. read more

I went to target to shop for bathing suits in the teenager section and to my surprise they only go up to double d and I'm 15 with triple d idk what targets trying to do but they got me messed up with these small bathing suits. I'm very disappointed leaving with nothing because all the bathing suits looked like they were for a 8 year old. Target bye I won't be back. read more

Live near this location and I always find myself wandering in their parking lot. It's always really clean. The check-out time is never more than 5 minutes. When they see more than three people in line, they are quick to open up a new lane. Recently I've noticed the target team members are more hands-on and helpful. I used to see them stocking or walking around. Now they're asking if you need assistance or simply acknowledging you which is always refreshing. The pharmacy DOES need help though. I've used this pharmacy for the past year and they are always slow when it comes to having prescriptions done on time. I'm not sure if it's the lack of pharmacy techs, but I hope it gets fixed soon. read more
