Bought this 9' Greensboro Tree @ lowes in Newberry S.C. on 10/26/25, unboxed it on 12/1/2025 and put it up. Beautiful Tree in side of 3 days the lights that come with it , attached to it with a control box on it decided to go from steady on to a constant blinking. My wife cannot handle the constant blinking and it actually annoyed me as well. As you can see the Tree is fully decorated and with all the work that went into it we decided to add some lights to it and not use the attached lights and return it when we took it down. Probably should have made a call but we didn't, just assumed we could return it. Probably should have known we couldn't but we never return anything. You would think you spend nearly $300 after sales tax on something and it doesnt work you should be able to return it. Lowes allows no Holiday items returned after the Holiday. I understand that but when something fails after three days of use. I use to come here all the time, unless they make this right I will never be back. My wife is the project queen. If anyone else bought this Tree and had similar issues please share. The response was anywhere from i just work here to that's our policy with no consideration of the inferior product. read more

Don't think about using your Lowes store app to check the prices. Scanned the price of a 2x10x16 treated lumber which was $27.19 but at the register it came up $29+. Rescanned it twice at the register in front of the cashier's and the barcode showed $27.19. They called the lumber associate and he scanned the store register showing a higher price $29+. My issue is why have a store app stating one price only to out at the register it is a higher price. read more

I stopped in looking for a certain item yesterday, and waited at customer service for a while. There were 6 employess behind the counter, 2 customers, and finally someone ask me "Can I help you", I explain the item, even show her on my phone, and the clerk points out go look down that aisle. She stated Ive never heard of that before. Welp I went down the aisle, item not on shlef, I left feeling some kinda a way. Customer service is a must in any business. I will never stop again. Home Depot is my go to store normally, I only stopped here because I was in this town for a few hrs. I purchased a $400 stand up a/c unit from lowes with the promise that it was the best product they had.I got it in June this year and 2 months later it quit working. I tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps without results. When I tried to return the unit the first thing they tried saying is that I couldn't return it without the box? Excuse me who keeps a box that long? Next thing was that I didn't return it within the 30 day time period. At that time I lost my s#$! You are going to take this back or I am going to raise hell until you do! Then they tried saying oh you can exchange it for the same exact product!! Nope I wouldn't buy this brand again if my life depended on it. So either I get a refund or I stay here and tell everyone walking through your door that they should never make a purchase here again. They blatantly talked about me right in front of me and laughed. Finally a "manager" came in and refunded me. Never buy anything from that location!!!!! read more

Some of the employees do try there best to help people out but others just don't wanna work I would recommend that they need to have a talk with there employees on customer service do to the fact that there was employees that weren't working they were talking looking on there phones and even laughing at customers for complaining about the service that they were receiving I stood in an aisle waiting for help had to walk to customer service desk twice to get an employee to help me out read more

My husband and I stopped in on the way home, they were suppose to be open until 7:00pm. I was notified that they would be closing in 15 minutes, as soon as I walked in the door of the garden shop. I was only going in while my husband needed to get something for his office. Within 5 minutes, the garden shop door was locked and I was almost pushed to leave through the front doors. Seems to me that when I was in business my doors were not locked until closing time and heaven forbid that I would rush a paying customer out the door. I was going to purchase a few plants... but no, I walked out empty handed....and I ask the garden manager to unlock the gates to let me out ...she hesitated and thought better of it, then begrudgingly she unlocked the gate. I am sure this is not the philosophy of store management... nor would corporate management approve.
