I really enjoy the clearance plants at this Lowe's. There are always some available at half off (or tiered for plants originally marked less than $20) and they're not in bad condition normally. I catch myself talking to the very nice lady who works in gardening department (I can't recall her name) but she loves plants just as much as I do! This review is really about the cabinet installation services. I don't have an opinion on the store really. I wanted to install cabinets in my laundry room that matched my kitchen cabinets. It's a straightforward job. Just 3 cabinets and a small filler strip at each end. There is just a shelf there now so no big demo job. I did also get a price to install 2 washer / dryer pedestals as well as the cabinets. I went with Lowes rather than search for a contractor because I figured they would do a nice job and I didn't need to worry about selecting the contractor etc. The process started well. I did everything through their virtual meeting process with their central associate. She helped me find the right cabinets and I gave her the measurement to prepare an initial estimate. I understood that until the installer came out the price was not firm. However the recorded meeting would show that it was represented that the installation estimate was all inclusive. Here's where it went down hill. I received the estimate from them on 6/17 at 3 PM. The cabinets had a 20 % discount that was listed as valid through 6/24. I agreed to the job early in the morning on 6/24 and paid the measurement fee. The installer called and due to theirs and my schedule I couldn't meet them at my house until 6/30. I let the advisor know the day I scheduled the appointment. The installer was here as scheduled on 6/30 and sent their estimate to Lowes on 7/1. I never heard back from Lowes until 7/6. Here is where the problems begin. The final estimate showed only a 15% discount because I didn't pay before 6/24. Remember I did pay for the measurement that day and even if the installer came on the 24th Lowes wouldn't have their estimate until 6/25 meaning the deadline was missed. I was told too bad you didn't purchase by 6/24 even though when they took my money for the installation estimate they new it would be impossible and they never mentioned that while they were taking my money. That's the minor misleading unfair and deceptive act and practice pricing practice as eventually they did agree to honor the 20% discount. What I couldn't understand is that their price for this straight forward installation was 32% higher than the estimate. I did ask the installer to add dry wall repair which was only $132 and I have netted that out for the price calculation. I don't know if the associate just didn't know what she was doing, If their software is just not good, or it's just a simple bait and switch deal. But I am not going to pay anyone that increases their estimate by 32% and tries to weasel out of a discount that hadn't expired when I made the down payment. As it stands now we have parted ways and I will be cancelling the Lowes credit card I applied for as part of the transaction as I don't see myself spending any money in that store for a long time to come. read more

I purchassed a refridgerator from Lowes last October and had it installed by them. It is August and the ice maker and water does not work. So I pulled out the refridgerator and there is a bif dent in the bottom. This was the first time it was pulled out (see picture). Called customer service and they would not give me any resolve as to my purchasing a damaged refridgerator for full price. Installers never gave us a chance to see the back before putting it into place. Guess I'm expected to pull it back out to look at it rather than trust the installer to let me know there is damage. I'm disappointed, disturbed, and unhappy of the delivery guys that dropped off the fireplace mantle. They seemed to be in a rush and on of the guys that was hold on the other side of the mantle dropped the merchandise and slammed it on the floor. Anyhow when I removed the plastic wrap around the fireplace mantle I noticed there was a chip/crack on the side right side edge. I took a picture of the fireplace mantle w/ crack on side. DO NOT HIRE LOWES FOR ANYTHING!!! I am very sad to have to even make this post but I have to let people know about my experience with Lowes. We hired Lowes to remodel our kitchen in March of 2020. Understanding that the Covid thing may delay the project, we picked a design and ordered our cabinets thru Lowes. In Sept of 20202 the construction began. Understandably, there were some issues and Lowes explained that they would make it right. Long story really short, its been 2 and a half years and things are still not fixed. Our dishwasher is STILL not even installed. Our Rep Shirley kept ordering new cabinets but they kept coming in damaged or the wrong color. We received about 30 replacement doors but most of them were worse than the ones that were installed so they just went directly into the trash. We had a laundry list of things that needed to be fixed and it was only after I contacted the corporate office in March of 2023 that they send someone to fix some of them. Now, Crystal at corporate is saying that they are no longer obligated to fix anything because its been over 2 years and they are claiming that they installed cabinets and that is what they were paid to do. I got the cabinets from them, Kraftmaid is only accessible thru Lowes and when I try to contact Kraftmaid, they never reply. Lowes stated when they installed them that they would get things fixed. They accepted responsibility for the bad cabinets when I was signing that the job was done so they can get paid but now it's "not their issue". There I no excuse for Lowes to not do what they agreed to. They knowingly installed bad cabinets and promised to get them fixed. Take a look at the photos, it is clear that they are not the right color, the photos don't show the warped or bad finish on the doors. About a quarter of them are warped, the wrong color and don't close correctly. Now they are saying they were only paid to install them. All we kept asking for was for them to get it fixed and make it right. They are now telling us that they will not fix what they agreed to and we hired them for. We started working with an attorney and I hope that this gets things done. I would NOT hire Lowes to do anything. If they don't want to do it, they will take your money, refer you to corporate and then you are just ignored. This has been our experience. Hopefully not yours. read more

Recently purchased a washer and dryer from this location. They we're scheduled leave my old unit inside my property. They took my old washer and dryer, that I was planning on selling. I went to the store and they informed me to call the delivery department in which I did, the delivery department told me to go to the store in which I did, the store then told me to call the delivery department. I spoke to Desiree the assistant store manager on the East Craig location and completely got the run around. They make the mistake and are hesitant to assist. They literally stole my old washer and dryer unit. This was a terrible experience. read more

Mood - paying a bill and of course shopping ( Covid19 Edition) Upon entering the carts that have been freshly sanitized were just on the inside of the store waiting for patrons to pick and get to going. Today was a bit of flop as I actually forgot my card but needed to pay the bill. The first attendant said that would be no problem and he proceeded to put in the information that I gave him so I could be located. This truly made my life easier opposed to going all the way back home. I was able to handle business pretty expediently. Honestly love great customer service especially when they know what they are doing or call over someone to help them out. Interior of the store is very well laid out, everything is marked before you hit each isle so you are not wandering around unless you want to. The store was very clean and stocked with a lot of supplies that most of the stores are still having a hard time to carry. The Covid19 procedures are def in place with social distancing, and now with the plexiglass to protect the employee at the register. Would def recommend - pricing to me is fair. I ordered a propane griddle on may 2 and was supposed to be delivered on may 8, called on may 11 to see what was going on with delivery because it was going away from my location after arriving in my city, was told to wait a few days called back on may 20, and was issued a refund called back on may 31 because I still hadn't received my refund and was told it would take 10 business days for them to process my refund and to call back june 2 if I haven't heard anything back. I actually drive to a Home Depot (North 5th) that is farther because this place is so bad. Employees: not professional in the SLIGHTEST, not knowledgeable in the area they are 'in charge' of, foul language in front of customers, not enough employees in the store-ever. Example: I ordered an item online to pick it up after Thanksgiving, when I told the employee at the Customer Service desk (where it is labeled 'Internet Pickup') what I was there for, he laughed. Then he turns around and yells (not 'talks loudly') to a fellow employee "We got another one. Great.". Then he tells me "you're gonna have to wait because all of you came at once", I respond with "how long is the wait, i do have some more shopping to do?" he replies "a while, we got a lot.". So I ask "do you have a time estimate?" He says "I dunno....maybe 15 minutes, could be a lot more though" I just can't believe he had no tact, not a "Well sir, the bad news is it is going to be a little bit...etc" Just frustrating there is no regard for customer serice, tactful approach to things, as I said earlier I will always go to Home Depot off of North 5th-they are FRIENDLY, know how to conduct themselves in a business setting and many more features. The only time I don't go to that Home Depot is for paint....when I go to Home Depot off of Craig & MLK (by Capriottis) and see 'Cam'. After many failed trips to Lowes I've become a Home Depot loyalist. Months ago it took me several trips to Lowes to finally get help with what I needed. Even when I got fed up from wandering around looking for what I needed I couldn't even find an employee to help me. Nobody even asks if you need help, they just walk past you. As a young female with very VERY little knowledge in handywork, I think it's great that I can come in here and easily find someone to help me with finding "you know, that clear tubing.. size? uhh.. what do yo think would fit around my shower head?"
