I had a great visit to Lowe's! I got everything I needed in under 10 minutes and the Lowe's team was very helpful. It's a great place if you need to get extra keys...which is one of the reasons I went (been procrastinating for a while). I also purchased some new numbers for our house..upgrading from the original #'s that were put on it. Buyer beware - 48 hour return policy on all appliances...including unused window air conditioners. BTW, this return policy is not posted by the appliances, on the receipt, or at the check out counter...only at the returns desk. That's just poor customer service. My wife bought a window AC unit for our daughter's apartment on a Thursday. After a failed attempt to install on Saturday due to a poor fit with the window sill, we attempted to return on Sunday and were told it was beyond 48 hours. Not even a store credit was offered. I checked with MENARDS...no such return policy for an unused appliance. I will not buy appliances from Lowe's in the future. read more

When he came, he said he had to cut it out of a bigger piece which was twice as expensive. The First one he cut wrong. He finally cut mine and I was just glad to get out of there. We bought a stove and dishwasher and scheduled the delivery for Black Friday since we would be home on that day. Received a call right before Thanksgiving and they asked if we would be ok having it delivered on Saturday instead and we agreed to that. Took our stove and dishwasher out and waited all day. Called Lowe's store at 4pm to ask about our appliances and were informed they pushed our delivery back to December 4th now. No call to ask us if we could be pushed back or anything. I purchased a stove from Lowe's. When it was delivered I was not feeling too well and forgot to empty the drawer under the oven. All my great frying pans were there. They took the stove with all of my pans. i called first thing the next morning and my things were gone. I acknowledge it was my job to empty, but taking things that don't belong to you is stealing. I talked to the manager and he was going to try to get me reimbursed. it never happened. So beware Lowe's delivery workers are not to be trusted. You might get ripped off. Lowe's as a company gets 5 stars for supporting the Military with parking AND a nice little discount if you sign up. We have probably spent a couple thousand dollars here in the past few months and keep returning for this factor alone. They missed out on a big ticket sale as we were going to redo our kitchen cabinets and it was next to impossible to get any information or a bid at all. I realize that this is a part-time gig for some folks but seriously it is apparent that you have people in key positions that really need to be doing something other than bumping their gums about whatever NOT kitchen cabinet products and projects. The flooring dude has always been super helpful and knowledgeable. The paint department always willing to offer advice and point you in the right direction. Nothing but issues with the Oak Park Heights, MN Lowe's location. Ordered flooring online to pick up at store and 5 weeks later ended up canceling the remaining missing cases and going to the Blaine Mn Lowe's where they were amazing and got my product ordered correctly for me. I actually went into the Oak Park Heights Lowe's after 5 weeks of run a rounds on the phone and spoke to a " manager " named Shane. He was rude, had little to no interest in helping me and was extremely dismissive. I will NEVER shop at this location again. I wanted to provide feedback regarding Lowes house plant selection at the Stillwater MN location. I browse and purchase house plants often from Lowes, I am there at very least 6 times a month and more in summer. I usually frequent the local Home Depots and other greenhouses/nurseries on the same days in search for houseplants. Let me say this - Lowes has stepped up their game in the last few months at the Stillwater MN location and it is BEYOND noticeable. In the recent few months the plants NEVER looked this good, they are ALL well taken care of and the few new hires I met are actually VERY knowledgeable about each plant and it's watering needs. I see them pruning, rotating and polishing the leaves and taking many preventative measures to ensure the health and well being of the plants. As a plant enthusiast it is wonderful to see! I do not like seeing a clearance rack with dead plants full of bugs and barely noticeable of what the plant was. Now I see ones on the clearance rack that are able to be saved and pretty healthy for the most part just as expected while the rest of the NON clearance plants are flourishing and will sell without the need to make it to the clearance rack!! RIGHT ON LOWES! This ensures my confidence in my plant purchases! It feels better knowing you care about your plants and not just selling to be selling! You are going to give the local nurseries a run for their money as your Houseplant department at the Stillwater, MN location is AMAZING! Holly and the other new hire (I forgot her name) are truly assets to your staff and they are so professional, knowledgeable and the times I was there they were all hands in the dirt keeping these plants healthy and appealing their passion for plants shows! I made additional purchases I may not have had on two separate visits had they not shared their knowledge of the plants with me! KUDOS Lowes and staff! I am so impressed! read more

Buyer beware! We purchased a washer and dryer from here. Dryer came as scheduled. Washer was scheduled and cancelled 3 times. The 4th time The attached the pedestal wrong, and it jumped all over my laundry room causing wall damage. Called them out again. They fixed the pedestal, but detached the waste hose. Flooded my laundry room. Lowe's referred me to XPO Logistics. They stated that if I didn't want their team out, (just not that team), I had to do my own repair, call a contractor to fix the damage, and make a claim. They only left 1/2 hour before! Lowe's did not answer my calls, transferred me around and hung up on me. I went their personally, waited 15-20 minutes to see a manager. (Calmly and quietly), Suddenly I was surrounded by 3 managers, including the general manager Adam Royer. I asked for alternatives to get the repair done. He told me to leave the store, or he would call the police. What? Adam intimidated and embarrassed me. I felt humiliated and distressed. He made disparaging remarks about my husband. For reference, I am a 61 year old Grandma. Pretty scary. I have documented every detail of this nightmare. Believe me when I say, the sale is not worth it. You will either not get your appliance, get it late, or have it installed wrong. The manager, Adam Royer will threaten and try to intimidate you if you complain. Customer service is dead at least at this Lowe's location. If this was my company I would be ashamed. read more

We got the standing freezer and it took another 2 weeks to get the chest freezer. We were told that they would issue a credit been 2 months since and I just received a mail to be a rewards member. Friendly, but not helpful at all! I have had one issue after another for the last week and a half. I was given the wrong information from the Pro Services area. I was later told in store that they couldn't order what I wanted and I needed to go home and order it from online. I have called and given my feedback over the phone and one time I had the customer service person put me on hold at the 00:35:00 mark of the phone call and they didn't pick it back up until I had been on the call for 02:07:37. Two other times I called in I was assured someone from the Oak Park Heights store would call me to resolve the issue. I still haven't received a phone call in 5 days. All I wanted to do was spend thousands of dollars on decking materials. I never knew it would be so hard! read more

BEWARE GETTING ANY SERVICE DONE HERE! You should have a no star option, since the only thing I've gained through this lowes experience was a headache. Most unreliable business I have ever dealt with. Ive had better outcomes when I've had issues with cell phone service and cable companies. That says a lot. We ordered our countertops SIX WEEKS AGO. Paid 2.5K that day. We were told we would have our countertops in 4 weeks. Dude came out to measure the next day. Told us it would be 14 business days until we had our countertops. We get a call TWO DAYS BEFORE our countertops should have been at our house, telling us the measurements were off and they needed $175 (after already giving them 2.5k- and 3 weeks after measurements were taken). THEY HAD NOT EVEN PUT THE ORDER THROUGH. Told us we would have to wait ANOTHER 14 business days. If it was up to me, we would've cancelled that day. They didn't deserve our business. My Husband decided to go ahead and wait the second round of "14 business days", to save us the time and hassle of starting all over again, plus he was told we would see a reimbursement (let's start with that $175 you charged us for 4 weeks ago?). We are now on week two (again). I called yesterday (Friday). At 10AM. They apparently couldn't get a hold of the company that does the countertops ALL DAY LONG. And now it's the weekend. So they're closed. Called today (Saturday) to talk to Heath, who has been "helping" us through this process. He was with a customer and would call back in "a few minutes" half hour later, I call him. He's a little annoyed at this point, saying he's still with a customer and has not forgot about me. I told him the "few minutes" turned into a half hour, that's why I called back. He is still saying "I haven't forgotten about you", that he is still dealing with customers and will call back "in a couple minutes". For real???? Don't tell customers "a few minutes" or "a couple minutes" unless it will literally be just a few/couple minutes. I was tempted to literally call back in two minutes, but I didn't. He called back in about 10 minutes. I told him I needed answers today or we would cancel. He told me he could not get me answers today since countertop place is closed (but they weren't closed when I called on Friday- still got no answer). Said I'd have to wait until Monday. Sorry, after 6 weeks, your time is up. We cancelled our order. Dude didn't even seem to care. We opened a lowes card to save 5% and then paid the card off. Well, turns out the refund went back in our card for a store credit. We weren't aware it was policy, but Heath could have done this differently and had a check sent out to us, but he did not tell us how we would get the money back or offer any options. By the time I realized we were only being credited, he said it was too late because he already did the refund. We will request a check through the Lowes credit card company, and shouldn't have a problem getting our money back in full, it's just another process they have made harder on us. Any apologies we've received have not been genuine (except for corporate- they've been great). read more

Atrocious installation process. Purchased a front door. We paid $40 for someone to come out and measure before we actually purchased the door. The measurement information was relayed back to Lowes and we then purchased the door on November 12, 2021. The door arrived in March of 2022 but installation was delayed because they didn't get a building permit. We finally received an appointment for installation on March 25th. When the installers arrived, they indicated that the door was too big for my opening and would have to be returned to the store. They put the door in my garage and said that Lowe's would contact me to pick it up and I should expect a call from them. By Monday, no one called so I called to get the matter resolved. Unfortunately, Lowes puts the responsibility on the salesman who sold the door to us to handle the matter even though he is now in a different department and you're at the mercy of his work hours. We finally connected and he concluded that the door should fit with some adjustments and an appointment to have it installed was scheduled for April 14th. After no one arrived at the scheduled time, I called the installer and was told it was too windy that day to install the door and that they could possibly be out the next day. It would have been nice to have been given a heads up so I didn't have to waste my time waiting for them to arrive. Better yet, it would have been nice to know whether or not they would actually come the next day. Without a call from the installers, I again contacted Lowe's. I was told that the installer would contact me the following week. Again, when I didn't get a return call, I called the installer. It seems they didn't have me shown as needing an appointment and apparently fell off their radar. We eventually received another appointment on May 4th. Not willing to give up the earliest available appointment, I cancelled a doctors appointment for that day. Sure enough, no one showed up at the scheduled time and no call was made to inform me. I called the installer and was told that the person who was to install the door had quit. I received another date for installation on May 10. The same installers who originally told me that the door wouldn't fit did finally arrive. They remeasured my opening and came to the conclusion that the door still would not fit. To remeasure the door, they removed the trim and chipped it. They said Lowe's would be contacting me. After I let a couple days go by, I contacted Lowe's. They again said that I would be contacted by someone to pick up the door that I had been storing in my garage since March. It wasn't until the week of May 23rd, almost 2 weeks later, I received a call stating that I should be getting a call to have the door picked up. I did get that call and was told they could pick it up on the May 28. I told them that wasn't going to work because I was going to be out of town. The pick up was then scheduled for June 6. On May 27, we received an automated phone call stating that our 'delivery or pick up' would be the following day between 8 and noon. We called the store to clarify what was being delivered as we had another door on order, or what was being picked up. I was told that I needed to talk to the salesman in millwork but he wouldn't be in until afternoon the next day. We called the following day concerned that our June 6th pick up might have been jeopardized. I asked the salesman about the status of the new door order and he told me it was waiting for management to approve the order as the door had gone up in price considerably. This was disappointing as it just created more of a delay in getting our door. Not surprisingly, when we got home on May 30, there was a message left on our answering machine that someone was at our house from Lowe's with a delivery. I have both messages confirming the June 6 pick up and the May 28 delivery saved on my answering machine. So it was a phone call back to Lowe's to see what this delivery was all about. I talked to the head cashier in customer service (?) who was less than accommodating and seemed annoyed at my complaint. She told me that they couldn't order the new door until the old door was returned. She said management wouldn't do anything different. It's not my fault that the door has been in my garage since March. She said that the installers should have returned it. Again, not my concern. I also don't quite understand if they were here on the 28th to pick up the door, why is it that I have to wait until June 6th? Also, that $40 measurement fee was supposed to be credited when we purchased the door. No where on the invoice does it show a credit. Lowe's requires full payment which they've had since November and I have nothing to show for it, not even a door on order. read more

Pretty impressed with the customer service, but not great prices of selections. Usually I'm a Menards guy, but Lowes has the best selection of Lumber; it tends to be a lot drier than the selection at Menards. So, whenever I need Lumber I go there and usually end up picking up other odds and ends as well. Yesterday I went to Lowes to get sheets of plywood but needed to cut them down so they could fit in my vehicle. The gentleman working in Lumber did this for me no problem. When I get to my car, I found out that the plywood was too long to fit in my car, so I went back in and they cut it again for me. Yes, it took a little bit for them to find someone to cut it for me the second time, but since they really went above and beyond to help me out, I'm not upset about that. I bet you Home Depot wouldn't have done that for me. read more

Just terrible. We ordered flooring over a week ago and were originally told it would be two to three days. My wife went to the store 5 days later on a Wednesday and was told it wasn't going to be there until Friday. I called Friday morning and was told it was on the truck but hasn't been unloaded and would be available later that afternoon. I went to the store in the afternoon and was told that they were wrong and the truck with my order wasn't going to be there until Sunday evening. I took time off work to complete this project and now here I sit with torn up floors and a 1 year old and 3 year old that have to be corralled so they won't get hurt. And, due to this delay, it may be another two weeks before I have an opportunity to finish the work. They've lost my business forever. read more

I ordered and paid for a new refrigerator, paid almost $3000 for it. When it was delivered, the refrigerator was dented in 2 different areas in the front. Talked with Chris in the appliance department, no problem, we will fix it, couple of months later numerous phone calls and no results. Talked with James, in plumbing now who sold me the refrigerator, no problem we will fix it. Four months later and still have no fix or can get them to return my phone calls, no one is ever working or can be bothered to fix this problem. Wonderful customer service here, I will be telling everyone I know not to shop here. read more

Paint section is great! The rest is pretty bad. Employees giving wrong advice, constantly watch department heads walk past ringing phones to chat with other employees about nothing important. Management team is sub par at best, they lack ever aspect of customer service and mark gives you blank stares. I feel bad for the cashiers because they have to deal with angry customers so often. Horrible customer service. We purchased vinyl plank flooring and paid for installation. I believe they use service pro to contract for installation. The guys they sent out did a horrible job on our transitions. They didn't touch the floor, left gaps between the transition and the carpet and plank flooring and were cut unevenly, leaving jagged edges. We told them while they were still there. I made three trips to Lowe's the day they were doing install to buy more flooring (they did not include enough with their measure) and various transitions for the installers to try to use. None worked. And we were out a lot of money because they cut many of the types of transitions I bought. The installers left and said they wouldn't fix it. Dozens of calls and emails to Lowe's and multiple trips to the store to purchase transitions they said they wanted to try (they even sent one person out who never followed up to fix it) and our flooring install isn't done, 5 months later. Every time I called someone at the Lowe's in Oak park Heights, they told me someone would call me back (often gave a specific name), no one ever called back. Unless I was lucky to actually reach someone at the time I called, forget it. They eventually stopped returning my calls and emails asking when it will be fixed. We finally decided to forget it with lowes and hired someone else to fix the flooring and transitions. We could have done a better job ourselves rather than having them do the install. Go to menards. We have always been very happy with their customer service on any large purchase. read more

A week later still no call even after complaining to the Management of the Lowes store that the installer by the name of Cory had not called me. Two weeks later I received a call from Cory. He was supposed to have come out to my place to measure my old door. Cory never showed up and I had left work early expecting Cory to be at my place as promised.
