Got rid of all their cashiers. Now complete self checkout. One person trouble shooting all four registers and EVERYONE was having problems. Four people "working" customer service two registers but still took five minutes for one of them to come assist. Used to give military discount but no longer (my items were apparently on some secret excluded list) even though the list of excluded items on the screen did NOT include what I was purchasing. Nick (the store manager at the OKC location I240) was so extremely helpful today he went above and beyond to go above and beyond to help me match Barbie Dreamhouse Pink perfectly! he didn't patronize me or even scoff and when I asked him to put in a silly scent sometimes it's nerve wracking to be a women in a hardware store asking for something silly but Nick was so kind + I got exactly what I wanted! Don't go to this ghetto store drive the 10 or so miles to another one. I've had 3 bad experiences here. First two were with a manager at the returns desk. Terrible attitude and just generally annoyed to be there. Third time I came to buy a table saw waited 15 minutes on employees to find a lift. Then they had to find the manager to drive the lift. Manager asks which saw I want, I tell him which one and where it is and he quickly says I know I put it there. I said I'm just telling you because you asked. He drives down the isle and calls me a smart-ass and says he can't stand people. I just just forget it I'll go somewhere else. Every time I come here it's a hassle to do business. I work for myself doing remodel and I don't have the time to waste here with these miserable people. The manager that called me a smart ass was black. read more

This is my favorite lowes store! I know where everything is at and I am TOTALLY in LOVE with plants. So here; they always have plants on sale or marked down for super cheap. Today I bought two blueberry plants for 5 each! Normally runs for 11. So it's about 50% off it's original price. The last two times I came in to shop, Dylan had helped me! I wanna give him a thumbs up for giving great service and answering all my questions! I can't wait to come back! I come every week or few days to see if there are any plants that are marked down. I bought a defective dryer from here. It was defective because of a bent screw. It also had some dents and scratches but I can overlook that. The delivery guy was also convinced that the black wire was neutral and the white wire was hot for my power cable. There was no way to rate their performance. Trying to get the screw repaired/replace was a nightmare. I kept getting told to talk to different people. Horrible experience so I created a Yelp account today to share it. read more

I've always gotten better service here compared to Home Depot. All of my appliances were bought there after the 2014 tornado and so far haven't had any problem. I will say when my carpet was installed by one of their subcontractors, they were so rude the store manager had to come to my house to resolve some issues or I would have had them pull up what they laid and leave. It was seriously weird and intimidating to be treated so badly in my own home. But that was four years ago and Lowe's was great about it. Bought my new stove from here today and needed it loaded into my large SUV. Because all of this was last minute, plus it's the week of Thanksgiving, I unfortunately forgot to make room in the back for the stove before arriving to this Lowe's location. As I scrambled to make room, the Lowe's worker sat and watched and did not even offer to help. Also, he called for backup at the very last minute because he needed help loading the stove into the SUV. Don't know if he thought I was going to help load it or what? We went in to purchase fencing materials. We initially were at the lumber section, but the panels we needed were in the outdoor section. The employee told us to walk down there and see if they were in stock. We asked if he could call someone down there as we were parked at the loading area at that end. He said he guessed he could do that. After 5 minutes someone called and verified they had them in stock. They rang us up and told us to drive to that end under the canopy to load them. Upon reaching the other end, there was no canopy. I went inside and searched for an employee inside and outside in lawn and garden but could find no one. (I was the only customer). Went inside to service desk and the lady there ignored me, and continued to stack energy drinks inside the customer service desk. Finally went to the "pickup" area, where an employee apologized and went looking for someone in lawn and garden. She could not find any one either. I finally located an employee hiding talking on his phone. He told whoever was on the other line to hold on. I told him what I needed and he said he couldn't help me until my husband came in to pick them out. Never again. read more
