I was lied to multiple times about a delivery date. I was forced to jump through hoops to add installation onto my order, even having them refuse to accept any debit card for the order, so I was forced to go buy a gift card with my credit card to finalize the transaction. I felt like I was in Monkey Island or Daventry just to get some basic service. When I left the store, I was shown my delivery was still going to be on the 21st. Today, I find out not only is it not showing up today, no one could help me, from the customer service people in the phone center or the Prattvile store itself. I got hung up on TWICE trying to speak to a manager and the people at the store started acting like I was out of line for calling back after that. I still don't know if my dishwasher is showing up next week or not. This is definitely the last time I'll ever shop at any Lowe's store in any town or online. Absolutely despicable service from top to bottom. I have not been this angry at a company in a very long time. Just absolutely worthless employees in all ends of it. read more

Lowes what happen to your store. You can't get help with anything and the people act like the customers are an inconvenience. Maybe it would be best to just make this a self service store and let the employees stay home. read more

Not surprised to see two stars. Based on staffing and management, two is overrated. I waited in an aisle for 15 minutes with two pages, noone shows. Went to find a manager who had every excuse, said he only heard one page, no doubt, associate had to go outside to get him. CHRIS has the leadership skills of a beginner. Told me his person was on the phone with another customer, why they had not responded. After front end Hourly told me they were way understaffed. I told Chris I did not appreciate his BS and he was concerned about my aggressive behavior and language. Never once did CHRIS offer a solution, never. Across the street is HOME DEPOT, sure they would appreciate my business as well as anyone else reading this review. Now I see why parking is plentiful, because service is so poor no one goes to this dump. Lastly, dont patronize the customer CHRIS, you are such a poor leader you probaly need to be educated on proper conduct with customers. read more

This store turned me into a Home Depot customer today. I've long been a fan of Lowe's but, alas, no more. I'll have to learn the Home Depot store layout now. Earlier today I waited patiently in line at one of the 2 open registers. She turned off the light when I was next in line and left. I had to wait in the line at the only open register. (They don't see fit to use the self checkout) Then I had to go back. One open register on a weekend evening. When I came in the store there were two people in line. I picked up what I needed In 2 minutes. There were now 12 people in line. NOPE! I truly don't understand stores that don't want to sell things. My visit cost them revenue because some will have to restock the pile of hardware I had picked up and left on the floor by the registers. read more

Product: They seem to have everything you are looking for. Service: The service here is standard. The employees on the floor do a fairly good job assisting customers if they are not helping someone at the time. Customer Service is not the friendliest. I was waiting in line to be helped and when it was my turn one of workers specifically tells the person behind me to come to her desk to be helped. So the worker helped me get skipped in line for some unknown reason. Outsourcing: I used Lowes for flooring my house. The pricing was reasonable. The company they used to install it was bad. They broke a chandelier and window. They also cut the carpet too short in the transition areas. Lastly, the company said the job would take so many days and went over their own date. Some of the days they showed up late, left for long lunches, or just worked half days. When we tried to follow up with them to get things fixed and/or reimbursed for the things broken, they stopped taking our calls. I am sure Lowes has more than one company they use, but that was my experience. read more

My delivery was scheduled BY LOWES delivery for 4-8 pm. They came 4 hours early when I wasn't home. I was then told they would come back out. They didn't. Undependable. Don't use them. Buy locally. Do not buy from big box stores. read more

We recently moved from Hendersonville, TN to Prattville, AL. Both Hville and Pville have a Lowes and a Home Depot. The Lowes store in Hville was far superior to Home Depot. As a result of our move we needed all new appliances. We chose Lowes in Pville for our appliance purchases based on our experience in TN. After 14 months and a very unsatisfactory encounter with Lowes management today--Pville Home Depot is far superior [in every regard] to Lowes. The lack of concern for a service issue and the hostility exhibited at Pville Lowes today exceeds any [except for one with GM in 1980] I have experienced at any retail establishment in my 73 years. read more

Poor Third Party Delivery Service, Store Manager No Help. Ordered online from Prattville, AL for delivery. Was given a delivery time of 1:00 - 4:00 PM. The day before delivery received email stating 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM. It was delivered at 5:40 PM. Was told by a store manager I should have received a call the evening before, didn't get one. Was told they would call when they were on the way, didn't get one. Wasted a full day waiting for something when they could have called and not wasted my time, but I guess their time is more important. read more

This Lowe's in not the best I've been to. It's hard to find anything here. There are hardly any employees around, so when I need help finding something I have to walk a mile around the store until I find someone working there. Recently I walked around the entire store trying to find the ladders without success. So I started looking for someone who works there. I walked around the store another time and ended up finding the ladders before I found anyone who works here. Today I needed help so I pressed the call button and waited for about 10 minutes and no one came. My husband went to find someone to ask for help. They told him their intercom system was broken and that they find someone. The man who came didn't seem thrilled to help us. That or he was having a bad day. He came off as rude in my opinion, and not helpful. I'll be going to Home Depot. read more

In November I ordered a washer and dryer from Lowe's in Prattville AL to be delivered and installed in January. I had to install these myself because your "installation crew" came to my house with none of the connecting hardware to install either appliance. They refused to give me any options other that call Lowes back and reschedule for a future date. I had them off load the appliances. When I returned to the store to get the connecting hardware, The manager at Lowe's refused to make any concession for not doing what you were supposed to do. Lowe's is one of the worst excuses for a business. Not only incompetent but completely uncaring. I will not be shopping at Lowe's again. You guys just lost a customer who has been with you for 47 years. read more

I'm am seriously annoyed with Lowe's in Prattville Alabama. I got A Maytag washer from in store Lowe's for delivery and set up on March 7th and it arrived the 11th. Shortly after getting it, I was having issues. The panel wasn't responding, I kept getting the LO FL error and the drum was constantly banging against the side of the machine loudly. So I called Lowe's since I have a 30 day warranty. We called the 18th and someone came out to look at it on the 21st. They pointed out it was dented but they couldn't figure out why I was getting the errors. The dent was causing the barrel to bang against the side of the machine. They said they needed to order one and we'd get it delivered. We didn't hear anything back. On the 28th I called again to see what was going on. After a 30 minute transfer game over who wanted to deal with me. They told me they didn't have anything in the system at all that we called or had anyone look at it. I decided to go into the store because no one could answer my questions over the phone. They tell me they will get it ordered and call me back. Again, no luck in a week. So on the 4th of April we call again. Our warranty ends on the 7th of April and I still didn't have a replacement. Still over the phone, no luck. So go into the store this time. They at least manage to order us a new one and give us a receipt for the new one l. They say that it will be delivered the 9th. Monday we get a call and a person from Lowe's tells us they can come out sooner. They come out on the 7th. We were expecting a delivery. He comes in and looks at the washer and we explain what was wrong with it because he was asking. He tells us that he still needs to order the washer and that it won't be until Friday or Saturday that it can be delivered. He leaves and we are annoyed and confused thinking that this was supposed to be over. On the 11th, still no word so we spend another 40 minutes playing the transfer and hold games on the phone till they tell me that it was labeled delivered in their system. We didn't get anything though. We go into the store again to talk to them. Again they set up a delivery and say that they can have it out by Wednesday. They said they would call us to confirm the appointment that same day. We didn't get a call. It's now the 14th of April and it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow so we call to make sure that it's still going to come since we have had such bad luck and guess what? It's not in their system for delivery! So now they say they are trying to figure out what is going on and will call us in an hour. So I've been working with Lowe's from the 18th of March to today and still no replacement washer. I want my washer and I'm seriously annoyed but once I get my washer, that I've already paid for, I'm not shopping at Lowe's anymore. This is insane! read more

if you need a special item or a hard to get item that lowes may stock, even a lowes in another state, make a beeline to the lighting dept and seek out the manager of that area. she helped me get an extremely off the wall solar charger that wasnt stocked, she found it in a california lowes and had it transfered to her store for me to pick up. she spent about 1.5 hours with me. never had that kind of customer service from a lowes before, or anywhere concerning a non stock item in a store. this item didnt fall under her department either, it was considered hardware. didnt stop her. i will also be dropping lowes a line about her. people always dont hesitate to complain when something is bad about a store, but rarely take the time to drop dime on an employee when they shine. read more
