We started a huge renovation project that required a complete appliance suite; washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. We had been keeping an eye on possible sales, and because of Memorial Day, we knew huge discounts at the major box stores were imminent, and they were. Hands down, we prefer shopping at Lowe's. So we went to our local Quakertown PA Lowe's to check out the deals in person to see what kind of deal could be had. Since my wife and I are both retired military, we hoped to take advantage of any possible veteran discounts. Lowe's has earned our trust and confidence and thus Lowe's (especially this location) has become our "go to" store. With numerous shopping experiences at this particular Lowe's already, we knew from personal experience that the sales associates here are top-notch. So when the store manager, Rich W. pointed us in the direction of Jazz L., we immediately knew we were in good hands. Jazz L. teamed up Aaron H. to ensure we were getting the products we wanted, and of course, the best deal. All of our questions were answered, no matter if they related to product availability, function, accessories, delivery or installation, they nailed each one and allayed any concerns. Simply, there aren't enough adjectives to describe their professionalism and ability to collaborate. When our purchase was concluded and with receipt in hand, we asked them about the customer survey, because we felt they deserved to be formally recognized by name. The bottom line is this: If Lowe's leadership and upper management could garner any takeaways from this shopping experience, it's this: clone these three individuals and place them in each and every Lowe's store across the country. Why? Because my wife and I, having spent a combined total of 63 years serving our country's military/government, definitely know a little about service. Dedication to a profession, coupled with integrity, results in greatness and satisfaction in job accomplishment. In today's retail world, this is rare. So when we see it and experience it, it needs to be recognized. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally escalate a deeply disappointing experience at your Lowe's Quakertown location that ultimately resulted in me canceling a $730 dishwasher order. What began as a positive customer experience quickly deteriorated due to repeated breakdowns in communication, coordination, and accountability. My wife and I visited the Quakertown store on March 25, 2026, to purchase a dishwasher. We made it clear that delivery before Easter was essential. We were assured by the salesperson that delivery and installation would occur on Thursday, April 2. Based on that commitment, we completed the purchase, including delivery, installation, and a three-year warranty. On April 1, having received no communication, we proactively contacted the store. We spoke with Kim, Appliance Supervisor, and Robin, Store Manager, who confirmed the dishwasher was staged and ready for delivery. Robin advised us to contact the delivery company the following morning. On April 2, the delivery company informed us the delivery would not occur that day but could be completed on April 3. We accepted that adjustment without issue. Later, we received confirmation that delivery and installation would take place between 12:00-4:00 PM on April 3. However, on the morning of April 3, the delivery company contacted us again to inform us that the paperwork listed the delivery address incorrectly as the Lowe's store itself. They advised that proceeding with delivery under those conditions would void the warranty and instructed us to return to the store to cancel and rebill the order. I immediately returned to the Quakertown store, where Bry in Customer Service was extremely helpful and efficient in correcting the issue and coordinating with the delivery company. At that point, we were told delivery could still occur that same day. Unfortunately, at approximately 4:00 PM, we received another call from Kim, Appliance Supervisor, indicating the dishwasher could not be released due to the rebilling. I returned to the store again and spoke with Mike, Supervisor, who attempted to find a solution. However, Kim continued to insist the order could not be fulfilled due to the rebilling. Rich, Store Manager, appeared disengaged and did not take an active role in resolving the situation. At that point, after multiple trips, conflicting information, and a lack of ownership, I canceled the order. This situation reflects not just a single mistake, but multiple systemic failures: Incorrect order processing and documentation Lack of proactive communication Poor coordination between store and delivery Inconsistent problem-solving and leadership engagement While I appreciate Bry's professionalism and Mike's effort to assist, the overall experience--particularly the lack of resolution from Kim and the limited engagement from Rich--was unacceptable. Beyond the immediate frustration, this experience has significantly impacted my confidence in Lowe's ability to deliver on commitments. As a result, I chose to take my business elsewhere and will be reconsidering future purchases. Given the time, inconvenience, and multiple failures in execution, I am requesting: A formal review and response of this incident. I tried to return some backsplash today. I bought it and now moving and have no use to it. They are unopened boxes. When I tried to return it without my credit card, but with my ID and my Social Security number, the lady couldn't look it up. So after waiting for about 30 minutes only getting a little frustrated but obviously not taking it on the lady. I asked to speak with a manager . the manager Mike who wouldn't give me his last name but is super tall Came out in a half. This man look like he was annoyed to even work. He was so rude and aggressive. I think that anyone like that shouldn't work in customer service let along alone talk to a woman. His refusal to help was a parent. He told me to take my business to Home Depot. It's right down the street and Satterton and close my account because he doesn't care. I felt very intimidated by him. And I filed a claim on lowes by calling the phone number. All they're doing is reporting it to the store manager. But when I got the number to call, Mike laughed and act like it's no big deal. Handicap Electric Carts are never charged, today one was labeled "Out of Order" okay, one when checked had a flashing single bar charge indication, the third when I checked had full charge indicated, I got 20 feet and the charge indicator changed to a flashing single bar. Is the yellow extension cable these are plugged into even plugged in? Whoever is managing these carts have no clue what they are doing. Went home and placed an order with Amazon. read more

This place has all of the items you need to make sure you have good maintenance on your home. I never came here and didn't find what I need for my home needs. The cashiers are always polite and friendly. You can get help when you ask but the staff doesn't follow you around asking if they can help you like other stores. I went into this Lowe's on May 17, 2018 with the intention of spending ~$2,000 on a riding mower and some other yard equipment. Instead what I got was the rudest customer service of my life. Every time I tried to get any help I was treated like I was inconveniencing them. I even had two different employees audibly huff and puff when I politely asked them for help. It was like trying to shop in the twilight zone. The final straw was when I asked one of the women at the customer service desk to help me get the mower purchased so I could leave and she just stared at me for like five seconds without saying anything!! After saving money to replace my fridge, dishwasher, and stove, and doing my due diligence picking out new ones I went to Lowe's in Quakertown, PA and purchased them. The salesman said they were special order. He determined the date they would get them in and we agreed on a delivery date. The day before delivery I called to confirm. I was told that they were not at Lowes yet, sorry, you'll get them in two weeks. Four weeks from when we placed the order. I was speaking to the Manager and asked how this happened. He was FAR from compassionate. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere but Lowes. When ordering a washer and dryer I was told that if anything was wrong with the product not to let them deliver it and they would bring a new washer and dryer by the end of the day. Well that was a lie because the washer came extremely smashed and I was told a new one would not come out until the next day. Now I lose two days of work and the deliveries manager refused to take any discount for the inconvenience. Today the second washer came and it's broken too and I cannot get ahold of anyone because nobody ever picks up the phone. My husband and i ordered vinyl fence online for store pickup, to replace damaged pieces. the fence was a horrible product to begin with when we bought it years ago, but we just wanted to replace some pieces versus a whole new fence at this point. 3 out of the 5 pieces we ordered were very damaged. My husband only noticed as he was putting in his truck. And then on top of it when he went back in to tell them, they said, bring the pieces back in. I went into this Lowe's requiring a fairly simple service: I needed to purchase a sheet of glass, cut into two smaller sections. Having to wait for an available employee to find someone who knew how to cut the glass was no problem, I expect that sort of thing. When the appropriate employee was found, he made it very clear he did not want to be helping me (his exact words were "I hate cutting glass"). He did not wear protective equipment of any sort. He worked quickly, needing to score the sheet several times before he was able to make the cut. He dropped the piece at one point. He sliced his finger and bled profusely over the wrappings he was placing the glass on. He then used his bare hand to wipe at some of the blood streaks, smearing them excessively, before shrugging, taping up the bloodied paper, and handing me the bundle. I was too stunned to say anything. The guy was clearly disgruntled and I was afraid declining the glass after his ordeal would cause a conflict I didn't want to deal with, so I just took the pieces and (carefully!) went home. The purchase ended up costing me twice what I had calculated it would be; I don't know why he didn't realize he could use a smaller sheet of glass rather than making multiple cuts in this big sheet. When I got home, I carefully opened the bloody paper to find that there were already spider cracks forming along the roughly cut edges of the glass. It was unuseable. I re-taped the bloody paper and back to Lowe's it went. The only reason this store gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the cashier who handled my return seemed appropriately mortified and apologized profusely while doing a very efficient refund. read more

Yesterday 3/14/20 I walked into the store to return some items. There was a guy sitting on a machine right in front of the door yelling back and forth to a girl at the customer service desk. His name was Eli, I'm not sure about hers. Eli was yelling to her in front of all the customers waiting in line about a customer who ordered flooring and didn't pick it up on the right day and blah blah blah. Then proceeds to yell to this girl "I really don't like this customer, if he needs it loaded, call me up here and I'll talk to him". This has to have been one of the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard or saw. The place was a mad house yesterday and I understand it was stressful and overwhelming for employees, but to blatantly scream across the room and annoying a customer is and how much you don't like him is unacceptable. Is this a joke or what? So I just had a instant replay from my last horrible experience with this place. I go to get a piece of Plexy glass cut to my dimensions. I'm using the $69.99 piece to start with and need a piece 30"x20.5". First I have to wait for someone to show up to cut it. Then first thing guy says to me is "Thus is very expensive piece are you sure you want this?". Uh? For real? I wait five minutes for you to come to cut it, yeah I'm rather sure I can read the price. Then after multiple times of telling him the size and which end to cut he puts it in to cut backwards. So I ask him to please flip it around. Then he cuts it and after measuring its almost 1/8" too big. So since glass doesn't flex I can't use that size and since it's oversized and not under we can't use it. So he says well guess I can't help you! What? So after all this I'm supposed to what go find another store with competent people. No - I suggest he try again. Well long story short next piece is magically over as well but barely 1/16" so I'll see what magic I can do. But seriously why are guys who can't do the job on the job and better yet they put the blame on the buying customer. I get it you get what you pay for. Bought a dishwasher last Wed online. Somehow location was switched from Lowes to Warrington about an hour away. Called to have switched back and was told I had to come to Warrington to be issued refund and then go to Quakertown to repurchase. So much for online shopping. Drove an hour in the rain and an hour back. Quakertown rep told me delivery/install would call by Friday PM to schedule date and time. It is now Monday 3:15 pm and no one has called. Called Lowes Install and they put me on hold and then the line went dead. Called Quakertown store and Matt in Appliance Center put me on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up. bought a whirlpool washer and delivery was scheduled the fouth of July 2021. Well they never showed and ruined my holiday, while they were giving me a 4 hour window, they changed it to an 8 hour window after they didnt show. i waited 8 hours. then i had to take off work for another 4 hour window. when they finally showed they told me they could not install due to pipe corotion, what?????? I said that is calcium.he did not even try to turn the nozzle. oh and before they left they dropped off the washer and said, put w2 40 on it overnight and they will be back, he looked up at my house and asked me if i lived alone. Him and his buddy got back into the truck and left. I got a wrench and with a light tug enabled the hose. i called them to come back. Now 2 days later I must pay a plumber to hook it up and pay a junk man to haul the old away, Why? because lowes in quakertown will transfer you to deliveries, and for me 9 times where NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! We received outstanding customer service from the store manager and the gentleman that was on duty in the tool corral area. They very carefully looked throughout the store for items with my wife and they really treated us great. Both negative and positive. Had a good experience in the plumbing department, helping me find a hose and needed supplies to make an extension for my sump pump pipe. BUT, try to get a call into the garden center and what a mess! I called three times, held on for a total of over 25 minutes all together, and each time when it range, it immediately hung up! Geeze, Lowe's, you need MUCH better customer service for phone calls. We need to be able to find out if you carry something before we make the trip to the store! I stopped on the other day to buy a trailer. It was about $1700 so I brought $2200 cash for it. I went in and told customer service I wanted to purchase a trailer. She said ok and called "Mike." I waited about 5 minutes or so and then the girl called for "Mike" again. She then told me he was on his way. After another 5-10 minutes a girl came up and asked who I was waiting for. The customer service girl said she called "Mike" twice and he was on his way. After another 10 minutes, I told the girl I was going somewhere else and she said "ok." I'm not sure who "Mike" is but he just cost them 2 grand. What a waste of time. Terrible customer service and I'll never be back. "Mike" should be fired. read more

The staff at the store is great but I would never use one of their contractor to install anything on our property ever again. I recently purchased a fence and the contractor was suppose to come on a Tuesday. They cancelled because their truck broke down. They promised to come on Friday. We waited all morning and no one showed. We didn't receive a phone call or anything. We contacted the store and they called the contractor. They stated they were held up at another job and would be there soon. They never came. Monday rolls around and two of the workers show up without tools. They stated a third guy should be here with the tools. They call the guy who stated he cannot arrive for two hours. They asked us if we have tools. My brother told them no. The drive to Lowe's to buy the tools. They finally start setting up the fence by the afternoon. 4:00 rolls around and they state they have to leave but will be back in the morning. Fence is not even half completed and we aren't fencing in a large area. Morning has come and gone so far no one has arrived. No phone calls and fence still not done. NOT HAPPY! read more

Went in to purchase a new kitchen sink. Even though they did not stock the one I found online, they were able to order it for me. The only complaint I had was it took forever for someone in the plumbing department to answer the phone. Then they would transfer me to another department which handles ordering. I did not like the wait time, and transferring. Need to have a better system. The customer needs to be instructed to call the correct department when they have questions. Had refrigerator delivered 1/23/18. Delivery co. gouged my vinyl floor. Cannot get any satisfaction! Lowes contracted to freight company for delivery. Freight company contracted with another company to delivery. Just getting runaround from everybody. Made BIG mistake for not buying from locally owned appliance store that do their own deliveries. I went to return few items back, I had an item without receipt, I requested for a store credit. The customer support person Nicole Rodriguez was RUDE and Arrogant and refused to give store credit. She even implied that i may have stolen a $10 worth return item. THIS IS CHEAP AND WRONG. I asked for the Manager and Mark intervened and diffused the situation. My Husband and I were in the Quakertown Lowes on Saturday, November 17. We got to the check out only to discover our 50 pound bag of Eco friendly sidewalk salt had a tear and was leaking salt. I asked the checkout Lady if someone would be available to bring another bag up front since my Husband who's been recovering from knee surgery didn't have to walk all the way back to the garden center since his knee was starting to hurt him, she said, sorry no one is available. Behind us three Lowes Associates were standing talking about lunch plans for everyone. How appalling no one was available to help out someone who is handicapped, better yet how rude it was for the checker not to try to find help. She kept saying sorry no one is available. She should be taught the meaning of customer service, better yet fired. Now we understand why some Lowes stores are closing. We will be taking our business else where. read more

Worst Saturday of my life due to total incompetence of their workers, especially the plumbing department. Me being a licensed plumber spent 30 min, working a repair job all around a clearance item, which there was many of on the display rack when I returned with the cashier. At that time I was told they can't make up for my time by matching the difference. It's not about the amount of money but the total lack of competence by management. When I requested a manager he was "with a customer". When I walk out he's saying "ok love you, see u when I'm off"??? Was that a customer or a personal visit? Plus as a contractor I know 3 outta 5 times lighting fixtures etc are missing parts. Total failure of customer service.
