You've made the mistake of putting your job on Synchrony (Lowes card) and NO ONE will return calls on your LOST job - this card is how they own you and the discount is NOT worth it. My card was charged within days (accruing 19% interest) - weeks before my job was even scheduled. Next start a formal complaint through Lowes Corporate office in North Carolina (800-445-6937), tell them that you have an attorney who specializes in "breach of contract" and let the corporate office know that you've been advised to begin a dossier and record all phone calls for future action if required. At this point, no one at Lowes knows what you've done because no one will return your calls. I received a call back from a Lowes manager the same day I registered my complaint, so corporate responded very quickly. Here what I notice about this location...a great view of the mountains and horses. It grabs attention for people leaving the parking lot. Is it a competition for Home Depot? Mixed review on our recent online order, delivery and subsequent follow up through this store. Online ordering through the website was easy and I was very happy the item was in stock given the current supply chain issues. The delivery was delayed a few days from the initial delivery date, but they did stay in communication on the delays and new delivery date. The delivery team that brought the fridge were efficient and friendly and arrived right on time. When the refrigerator was delivered one of the interior door bins was shattered/cracked. I tried to resolve through Lowes online support but they said I needed to contact the store directly. It has been a big challenge to actually speak to a person at the Vallejo store. I have tried different days and different times of day. They immediately put me on hold or hang up. If I am able to reach customer service they "transfer" me but nobody in delivery actually picks up. If you wait on hold too long (5 or 6 minutes) the system seems to boot you. I am not joking when I say I have called over 20 times. So frustrating! I would strongly suggest looking at other nearby retailers if you're planning to purchase any large appliances requiring delivery. I went through an ordeal where they knowingly delivered the wrong appliance (dryer), left it in my kitchen for two weeks, couldn't locate the correct order, wouldn't answer the phone/return calls, etc. Their delivery team is also outsourced, so nobody takes responsibility. The Vallejo store never called me after 3 "confirmations". I eventually got a hold of their corporate office (via Twitter- the only place they'd respond) and received a meaningless discount. After ordering my refrigerator a 20-cu ft Kitchenaid refrigerator (Item #735649), I found that the exact same model was for sale at a local appliance center (Contra Costa Appliance and Kitchen Center) for less money ($2249.10 v. $2515.98). So in accordance with Lowe's Price Promise, I brought the printout that showed the $266.88 difference and asked that amount to be refunded and complete the price match. I was informed that since the refrigerator had not yet been delivered, Customer Service was unable to complete that transaction. It felt like they were being deliberately difficult but fine, computers and all that, I will come back after it's delivered. So I go back after delivery and once again ask that it be refunded. At this point, Ramona in Customer Service informs me that it has to be 12-hours after delivery for it to appear in the system. Ok- I guess I'll come back the next day (today). Today, the woman working in Customer Service (Maria) informs me that they only honor this agreement with retailers like Home Depot. And I point out that in the Lowe's Price Promise it uses the phrase "local retailer" and that distinction is that Contra Costa Appliance Center is a local retailer and Home Depot is a national retailer. Maria argues with me further that this is their policy. I ask to see the policy in writing. She hunts around on the website but she cannot find this part of the policy. Bear in mind, this part of the policy was never mentioned by the associates in my previous two visits. I ask to speak with a manager. The Assistant Manager comes over and I once again explain the difference between a local retailer and national retail store, at this point more loudly and emphatically than I typically speak to people. Finally, she begrudgingly acknowledges that I am correct and refunds me the $266 dollar difference. This took three trips. I had to speak to at least five different associates in Customer Service and ultimately multiple managers. My takeaway is that despite what is on the Lowe's website, the Vallejo Lowe's will do as much as possible to not honor their promise. If you are trying to use the Price Promise, they will say anything and everything to refuse to honor it. You have to keep arguing your points and providing as much documentation as possible. I'm just grateful that I happened to have the time to do this right now. I'm guessing that Lowe's is hoping most people won't. I will never shop there again. read more

Building a wood shed and needed to make several trips and purchases as you can imagine. But after my last trip, I won't be back. Was buying a bunch of wood and I needed 3 pieces of wood cut in half. I would recommend NOT EVER ordering from Lowes for any appliance. We ordered a refrigerator on sale for 4th of July, and it was delivered today. It is the EXACT same fridge we already have in the house, same size, just a different brand. I was told by the delivery driver that he could not take the doors of the fridge off to get it into the house. And said I could take them off, but it would void the warranty on the fridge and it may not seal right again after we put them back on. I told him I have never heard of that before, and how does anyone get a fridge delivered, since I have a standard size door. And he said he has a ton that are sent back and not delivered. I took a half day off work to wait for this delivery. I called Lowes who said they had never heard of such a thing and and they directed me to 1-800-445-6937 number (I'm guessing Lowes corporate) I spoke to a representative who also said he's never heard of that, and just today had 3 deliveries of the same type fridge that were delivered with the doors taken off. Then he said he could have a new delivery date on Saturday, and I said yes please but I do not want the same incompetent delivery drivers. He put me on hold for a while then came back and said actually with this fridge "the doors are very complicated and they can not take the doors off" I asked to talk to a supervisor and after "doing some digging" she said that they stand behind these doors can't be taken off because they can't guarantee they will be put back on correctly. I asked if it was a refrigerator limitation or the delivery people's limitations. She just kept repeating that they stand by that these doors shouldn't be taken off. And suggested I buy a smaller fridge. Basically I think they screwed up and they didn't want to admit it!! I ordered the EXACT same model and fridge from a different store in town, and they said the doors can come off, and they do it all the time to get it into the front door! Saw one I liked, price posted as $249 (30" Scott Roveland model). Adjacent sign invites customer to chose width, door colour & counter top colour. So I chose Black Oak, white counter, 30". Ask for help; "I'm just the paint guy" offers to page someone. 20 minutes pass, no-one comes. Decide to see if it's easier to buy on-line. On-line price is $518 so now I'm determined to buy it in the store; go back the next day, still can't find anyone to help! Return today & finally Appliance dude assists; "I can't do a sale, sorry" but he finds someone else. someone else can't explain why on-line price is different, but can't sell me the one I've chosen from the chart for the posted price. Offers to get a manager. Victoria comes; she seems to understand, offers to split the difference between the posted price and the on-line price, because none of this model are in stock, but can't find it on -line. While I'm pulling it up on-line she vanishes. Once I've got the on-line page I go looking for her; her supervisor comes, we agree $350 as a compromise price after arguing about whether its like seeing a car posted for one price but the other car has more features but costs more (the alleged $249 isn't even there; the $518 has no more features!) and he goes to the back office. Out comes Victoria and cancels her compromise, rips off the posted sign saying its gone. So a 30" Scott Roveland vanity on sale at Lowe's, Vallejo doesn't even exist and the staff can't explain why there are choices and can't keep the commitment they make to sell at an agreed price. It was 8:30 And the closest Lowes was across the bridge in Vallejo. So we book it, and order online. Get there 10 mins before closing, our order wasn't ready. My wife and I purchased lots of plants and trees and other garden needs here last year in November. Some of the plants we purchased died and so I went back to Lowe's to get a store credit so I can buy other plants. I was denied. They said that the one year guarantee was for other plants and the plants we bought was for 3 months only. This Ass t manager Prassad came over. His approach to me was argumentative and rude. I've honestly had a great experience every time I've come here. I feel like the store is very well lit and well organized, and I can easily find what I need. The website is easy to navigate, and when they say a product is in stock at the store, it really is in stock. I don't often need help when coming here, it's usually for a quick item or two, but when I do need help, the associates are great. I purchased the wheel barrow 2 days ago and never received a confirmation that the item was ready for pick up. The only reason I went to Lowes was because they had the flooring that I wanted. I had misplaced my receipt and wanted to have a copy emailed to me so I called customer service in Vallejo California where I Purchased my flooring. Customer service tried to connect me to the flooring department where they said I would have to get the receipt from them. Long story short: after 5 referrals back to flooring where they never picked up, being hung up on 3 times, dialing 4 times and waiting 45 minutes , I tried one last time calling. I don't know how this store is so poorly run. Employees are not helpful, they on't treat anything with a sense of urgency. I was going through installation customer support, which was fantastic, and then they had to transfer me to this store. Some woman picked up the phone practically screaming "Lowe's!" and put me on hold. I went ahead and cancelled the entire order. I have been rooting for Lowe's over Home Depot for a very long time but it's clear, at least with this particular store, why the Home Depot parking lot is jammed and this Lowe's looks like a graveyard. I ordered online for a pair of Craftsman Automotive jack stands, and picked them with no problems at the store. Yesterday I went to use it (the last of 8 jackstands, 7 already holding my truck up.) and the extension bar of the jack would not go through the sleeve in the base of the jack. The store had no more in stock, and would take until next week to pick one up. I needed to finish the maintenance on my truck and get back on the road. I was left with no choice but to grind the too large tower down to fit. After a period of grinding, it worked for me, but what if I didn't have a large grinder? One would think that Craftsman product would still be held to a higher standard. If you need Jack-stands and not wait a week, PASS on THESE. Even the 3 pairs of Jack-stands I purchased from Harbor Freight 9 years ago still work great. In this cae their tools work better. Some for a long time. read more

I can go to one big box store or another, I can point and click on my computer and as if by magic, I have stuff I bought on my driveway, sometimes the next day! I like early morning home improvement shopping; less crowds, better parking. NormallyI hit Home Depot in Vallejo but for gardening products, they don't open their 'garden gate or registers until later. Lowes has been my early morning 'go-to' garden center. Just a few blocks away from the Home depot. Now the Vallejo Home Depot has spotty customer service and Lowes isn't much better. At Home Depot you can see the employees ignoring you. At Lowes I often wonder if they have any employees! This morning at Lowes I saw employees in the garden. They were too busy to ask if I needed any help and I didn't so so what if these two used to work at Home Depot maybe? BUT the garden gate was closed as was the garden register! I stopped the guy walking around the garden and asked if it would open soon. He didn't know. Here's where I ran into a manager-type who did ask how I was doing as he was walking another employee to some task. He had papers in hand and was, what's the word? Snarky. I told him the garden department was unattended, the register closed and so was the gate. His reply was, "Yup." Not, "Oh that area opens at 7:00AM" or "I'm sorry for your inconvenience.". I said it was poor service and he again replied "Yup." At that point I kept pushing my cart laden with bags of garden soil, bags of gravel and some medium for setting pavers. No offer to help me, just a bad attitude from a poorly trained person. I have choices. I left my cart near a register with its light on. I couldn't go through the register because there was a half-loaded pallet in the way blocking the register. I left. I went to the other big box knowing what to expect. I have choices. I wanted to alert Lowes to this experience but their website and contact information has no provision for a 'How we doing?" sort of feature. If you have a choice, avoid Lowes in Vallejo. read more

This Kia has got to be by far the worst Lowe's I've ever been to. The workers are clueless. Every time I ask for a location they always give me the wrong one. Most locations will walk you to the spot these workers just want to get rid of you. Can't tell you how many times I go there and just end up going to Home Depot and getting what I need there. The sore itself it clean and the parking is pretty empty so I tend to go there first. But my goodness!! These employees are just lazy! My experience with Lowes from the delivery of my new appliances to dealing with the executive customer service department has been nothing but traumatic. I bought 3 appliances for my new remodeled kitchen and was delivered a damaged oven. Because of the substandard delivery service there was a 4 day delay to receive my appliances. This resulted in me not having help to get oven in the house to unbox until 3 days later . Only to find my new oven had a gash on the control panel on the stainless steal. Because this was outside the 48 hours ( it was 60 hours) Lowes has refused to exchange my damaged oven. Beware of this company and it's gangster practice. Lowes does not value the customers. I have been told by family and friends. "DO NOT BUY AT LOWES" I should have listen to them. Suddenly, I bought an appliances package from Lowes for my new/remodel kitchen. The Samsung electric stove model (30 in. 6.3 cu. ft. Flex Duo Slide-In) according to the Samsung representatives and service tech. burners are defective, not reparable and not returnable. Despite their theory, they laughed in front of our face after 3 different technicians came to our house unsuccessfully and left components unfixed and apart without putting it together. Rick was extremely lazy and not willing to fix anything. On his last visit, he talked to his Samsung mng on the phone and both agree not repairing it. Rick said he was going to his truck to grave a tool and never returned. Overall, PLEASE DO NOT BUT ANY SUMSUG PRODUCTS. This place is on another level of mismanagement. I've been here numerous time for large purchases and each one has been disorderly and messed up in some way. I've only gone back because it's so close to home, not going to do that any more. I would rather drive to another city. From delivering someone else's appliances, to losing my order, to being three weeks late on a delivery, and to the staff lacking knowledge of the POS system and lack of organization this place is greatly needing oversight.
