    Hopefully this is the Poor Boys that was contracted out through Lowe's. I hate to leave a bad review for the wrong company. Here goes....I purchased an exterior back door, accent window above the door and storm door from Lowe's. Poor Boys came out for the job. First issue the door leaked inside my home. They came out said there was no corking. Second issue, the storm door screen defected. They replaced the storm door. Now the storm door leaked. They came out again, said installer didn't cork around the door. Third issue which prompted me to leave this review, the exterior door sticks and I have to really push on it to open. Poor Boys came out yet again, made adjustments but ultimately said the reason for the sticking is the type of door I selected and the way the sun beams makes the door swell. Ok....so I guess I just have to live with it. But wait, there's more. My neighbor also had an exterior door installed and I noticed that the hinges were carved out on her door. Mine were not. SMH. By the time I realized this my warranty was expired. I still reached out to Lowe's who agreed to have the installer come back. The installer stood me up again. Oh, I forgot to mention through out this whole process Poor Boys stood me up 3 times. 3 times I took off from work. So this last time they were supposed to come out, they gave me 2 time frames. So, naturally I waited until 2:30. Lowes called back and said they came at 3:00. But also said that cutting the hinges on the door is not part of the installation!!!! OMG!!!!! That's probably why my door sticks. I WOULD NEVER GET ANY MORE WORK DONE THROUGH LOWE'S, IF THEY ARE SENDING POOR BOYS. ALSO, THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME TO HOME INSTALLATION EXPERTS. BE WARE!!

    The flooring department was good, dealing with Josh and Chase had been a good start. The problem came with the installation and their "preferred installation team" of Service Pros: $746.49 is what Lowe's charged in installation charges to install approximately 90sqft of LVT in two upstairs bathrooms. That is $746.49 in installation costs only, the material was another $800. That $746.49 probably was cut to the lowest bidder of Service Pros, and profits were divided up between the two before sending out the youngest lowest paid, minimum wage worker that they had for the 6 hours of work (or it could have been even further contracted out from SP, I don't know). I am the end user, the customer, the person that has to live with the crap craftsmanship that was provided. At about $125.00 per hour, I would expect some good quality work, but it was not there. There are so many issues/problems with this install, from crap cutting, to waste, to poor installation practices... this guy must have not even had a tape measure. The worst visual is the guest bath where a 24" tile should be offset at the halfway point of the previous row of tiles; however, they come to 9" on one side, and 14.5" on the other. Visually it looks worse than terrible. When calling this company because the worker did not understand what he was doing (including not knowing the difference between LVP and LVT), and left me with a less-than-desirable feeling I received a "he's one of our best workers". Really?? Calling back again some time later after being told that there was not enough material, and seeing all the waste of poor cuts, etc. just to ask for a supervisor/manager to come check the quality of work and amount of waste that meant material was not going to last, at the halfway point was met with more and more excuses, and a "we don't have anybody in the area for quality control". So I guess you get what you get at the end of the day, which by the way includes cleaning up most of the mess left, I had to cleanup myself, as the worker was so busy skipping out when the work was done. The quality is so poor and subpar, they should be ashamed of themselves for not rectifying this crap. Unfortunately, I am supposed to have the same company install carpet next month... I'll have to see if Lowe's can find a replacement company. I am totally dissatisfied with the quality of work that this company left me and my family having to go into every day. What should have been a wonderful experience went sour quickly.
