We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! If you are looking to get hired by this company I advise strongly against it and here's why: I recently applied to Lowe's for the garden department and had an interview with one of the managers named Anthony (very nice guy by the way) and I explained to him that I'm a firefighter and that I work twice a week on a rotating schedule so I'm only available to work on certain days and certain hours. He then told me that Lowe's is extremely flexible and all I have to do is write down my availability for each month and show it to the lady who does the rest of the hiring process who's name is Wendy. I went through with the hiring process and when I showed up for orientation I showed Wendy my availability just as I had spoken about with Anthony and she stated "you don't get to choose when you work, the company chooses when you work" which I found to be hilarious and extremely rude because the lady is very rude and has been from the beginning. According to her she is the one that dictates my availability. I let her know that I told Anthony all of this from the beginning and she simply stated that she was not there during that interview. Regardless she knew from the beginning that I had another job so for her to sit here and tell me that I can't choose when I work is absolutely ridiculous. Anthony and Wendy told me opposite things so it really seems like this company lacks internal communication. This was a complete waste of time for me. I also want to reiterate how rude Wendy is, she talks to you like you are beneath her, good luck dealing with her if you do apply here. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Ordered a new front door. Came out to measure 2x which required someone to be home over 18 which meant taking time off work. Then waited 8 weeks for door to be manufactured (From Oct 3 to Dec 3rd 2025). On Dec 3rd rec'd phone call saying they ordered the wrong size and would order a new door. I said no cancel order but threatened a $1000 plus restock fee for wrong door and they assured me I would be compensated for mistake and they would expedite the correct sized door so I agreed. At this point my sales person Tom called and said he would take care of everything. So the expedited door I was told would ready Feb 16th 2026. So now "expedited" door will take 2 and half months (2 weeks longer than 1st door). Door arrives but Lowes store does not mark down it is install and keeps calling and texting me to pick it up even though I went in person to make sure it does not get returned until their contractor picks up for install. The contractors availability is another month out so now March 13th 2026 install date (24 weeks after original order). Installer informs me the door swings the wrong way and I notice the window configuration is not the same as my order. They say they can return and order a 2nd replacement but it would probably take another 2-3 months. At this point I agreed to install the door due to the condition of my front door, which was bowed to extent a lock had to be added to secure the door to frame and was unable to lock from the outside. After my complaints the executive team only offered me a 20% discount off the wrong door I was basically left with little option but to install. They basically offered me a holiday weekend discount for 6 months of aggravation and gross incompetence on their end and now Im stuck with a door that hinges the wrong way and windows are not what I wanted. read more

Lowe's has you covered for all of your home improvement needs. This particular store is huge with loads of products to choose from and would satisfy all your short term or long term needs. There's a huge parking lot outside with ample parking space. The store is neatly stacked with proper labels and signs for the isle. If there's something you need finding, you can look up and see the markings on the isle and just walk past or, you could ask any of the representatives out there for help. You can almost find everything in here from flooring to lights, plumbing, electrical and kitchen products and much more. Everything is neatly organized with huge boards hanging from the ceiling so that you don't miss a thing. There's also an outdoor gardening area where you could find all your gardening needs. My reason for visit was to buy a particular high strength glue. I couldn't find the particular brand so I asked around and the rep working there was kind enough to let me know the exact location of the item I was looking for. The store at my particular visit had hardly any people inside. The checkout was quick and the entire shopping process was a breeze. All the Covid precautions are in place. This place has everything from toilet papers to dishwasher pods, detergents and other everyday products. My overall experience was good and I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

Disorder is still in process at 12:00 p.m. on the 18th not even out for delivery I could have rented the truck and got it here quicker and cheaper. Across from my (relatively) local Wegman's this Lowes makes a great place to go to get anything from large appliances, to paint, to curtains to door knobs. It seems Lowes works hard to make itself a more comfortable, welcoming space than most Home Depots I've been to. Everything is bright, the aisles are clean and organized and there are bold appliance displays distributed throughout the middle section of the store. One interesting note: the store now stocks a *wide* variety of cleaners, laundry detergents and drier sheets. These are placed not too far away from the washers/driers. I was impressed by the range from your common stuff like Tide and Fantastic to CLR and heavy duty cleaners. Service was a tad uneven. The first time I went with my girlfriend, we were looking for clips for bookshelf and we were having a heck of a time finding them. A sales person on the floor did a great job helping us find them and he was super friendly. The second time we needed a rolling curtain (one of the ones that get cut to order) and the lady at the curtain section was so busy chatting it up with two other customers (and friends, as they seemed very familiar with each other) that she virtually ignored us. My girlfriend wound up having to wander off to find another person to help her. Check out is a snap as you have options of going to cashiers or going to a self check out. A good branch, and I definitely will go back if I'm in the area. read more

Against my better judgement I decided to give Lowes in Woodbridge another shot. Call me stupid . Beware of buying any appliances from Lowe's in Woodbridge New Jersey. We bought a dishwasher and it was installed last week. I tried to use the dishwasher and it's not draining the way it should, instead I had a flood in my kitchen. I called Lowe's they have put me on hold for more then 30 minutes (i screen shot my phone to have proof) I call again finally I was able to speak with someone who told me she will put the Manager on the phone, I was placed on hold waiting for the manger to come on after more then 15 minutes the phone was disconnected. My husband and I have called the store many times and no one answers the phones. I have try to call Lowe's corporate and was unsuccessful because they put you on hold for another 39 minutes with no luck. I have a worthless brand new dishwasher sitting in my home and no one in Lowe's is of no good help. Does anyone have any recommendations? We can't get to the store because my husband works and by the time he comes out the store is closed. I take care of my sister who is disabled and can't wear a mask so I can't take her to the store. I will have to wait to Saturday and that's unacceptable. We should be able to call the store and get the problem resolved. Got to love that I got screwed by Lowe's Home Improvement with the "new" Blackstone griddle I purchased. Bought it at the Dale City VA location just before I moved back to NJ and since it was winter did not immediately unpack it (it was sealed in the box). So now it's outside the 90 day return window and I go to set it up today and find out that the box had been repacked and resealed with a significantly used and damaged griddle inside the "new" box. It was not marked as an open box or discounted at all; it was stacked with all the other new griddles. After calling corporate customer service and being told only the store manager can handle this situation, I visit the Woodbridge NJ location to speak to a manager and I'm told since it's outside the 90 day window I'm SOL (although had I used the Lowes credit card I'd have a year). Nothing can be done; per the manager the 90 day rule is "iron-clad". Even used my veterans discount to purchase it but the manager could care less; guess that's how much Lowe's Home Improvement values military service. Nice waste of several hundred dollars. Inconsistent logistics. I get voicemail night before delivery about approximate time. Then next day they called me while I was outside 2 hours before the scheduled time and said they were 10mins within my house. I had to rush home from Costcos, (imagine the chaos at Costcos on weekends.) Once I got there, the guys were waiting and began delivery of my appliance. Then one of them noticed the fridge had scratches and dents on the door and I had them take it back. Then on the night I got a call saying a new delivery will be scheduled at 10am-12pm. I waited and no delivery. Then at 2pm got a text saying my delivery will be 30mins. I waited and now it is 5pm and nothing and suddenly my XPO order was changed to no updates!! WTF!? This is about the worst delivery experience I have and this is for almost $4000 in appliances. read more

Like most, if not all, other homeowners, we either come to Lowe's or Home Depot for all the hardware and home improvement items. This particular location is near home, has plenty of parking and located near Home Goods, Bob's Furniture, Five & Below and Wegman's and few other shops that makes it really convenient for one who needs to shop for the home. I had home renovations done to my bathroom. I hired someone for their labor and bought all materials at Lowe's. The staff here is friendly. Marty, who is our bathroom tiles and grout guy takes his time in explaining the different grout stocked on the shelves and recommended certain products and most importantly, telling my husband and I what materials we can use to save some $$$. Thanks Marty! Items here are neatly organized and shelved. I recommend that if you have any questions and need to speak to a specialist for a do it yourself project, come here in the weekends when there's more staff working. During the weeknights, there's about 1 staff, if any, serving in specific area and if they go on break, you'd have to wait for the staff to return to work or take chances by asking other staff (whose expertise is in different profession) for their opinion. read more

Currently have the absolutely worse customer service experience going on after purchasing a Frigidaire Refrigerator from Lowe's in September of last year. After spending $1,800.00 on the refrigerator and extended warranty and waiting over a week to take delivery, the gasket inside of the refrigerator and freezer were already peeling. Numerous calls to Lowe's later and we were told that we needed to contact the manufacturer because it was under warranty. Frigidaire was not helpful at all, stating they wouldn't be able to send out a service technician due to COVID-19. This is quite confusing as they had no problem sending out a company to deliver and install the product. Instead, they sent a gasket for us to install in the refrigerator ourselves. The point of purchasing a brand new appliance AND the extended warranty was so that we didn't have to worry about these things. After waiting for the piece to arrive, it was delivered to us BENT IN HALF and clearly compromised. Of course my wife was told that it being bent in half was no big deal and to go ahead and install it ourselves. Not feeling comfortable doing so, my wife spoke to a manager and low and behold were told they would send the service company out. My wife informed them that the service company would need to bring a new part as the one we were shipped was mangled. In the meantime, the refrigerator began making some pretty unnerving sounds and we were told they would check on it as well. The service company finally showed up, a day after we were promised, WITHOUT a new gasket and would not be able to use the one that was shipped to us (DUH). After pulling out the refrigerator, we were told that the compressor and another part or two needed to be replaced but that we should contact the company because they shouldn't need replacement already. The tech said they will order the parts but it will probably take 2 or 3 weeks to get and they would be refurbished parts. This was ridiculous so we made our way back to Lowe's, where we were met by Daron in the appliance department who did everything he possibly could to help us. Daron, who was the only bright spot in this whole ordeal, called both Lowe's corporate as well as Frigidaire, doing everything he could to get a resolution. Unfortunately while he was on hold waiting for a response, he got a message stating that the company was closed and he would have to call back during normal business hours. I don't understand how a company could do that to their own employees, no wonder they treat their customers so poorly. The next day my wife contacted Lowe's to speak with a manager as at this point we feel as if we should be entitled to a new refrigerator as there is no point is paying $1,800 for a new refrigerator, if it is going to begin breaking down less than 4 months after purchase and be fixed with inferior parts. She was told that we would not be receiving a new refrigerator and would have to go through our extended warranty to have it fixed. Makes tons of sense when the item is supposed to have a 1 year warranty through the manufacturer but here we are less than 4 months later and NOTHING. After being on hold for HOURS waiting to speak to someone at Lowe's corporate, she was told she would get a phone call back, which she eventually did, TODAY. She did not answer as she was at work and wasn't expecting it. The message was essentially that this is the first repair to our item and there was no way that we would be receiving a replacement product. If we have a problem with that than we will just have to deal with the Woodbridge store. Absolutely disgusted after paying $1,800 in full for an item that barely lasted a month. We have been going back and forth with both companies since NOVEMBER of last year, just over a month after we purchased the appliance. The 3 parts that need to be replaced within the first 4 months of purchase are pretty major parts of the unit, you would think they would be a little more understanding of that. The customer service for both Lowe's as well as Frigidaire is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM LOWE'S. I purchased a Washer/Dryer from this Lowe's, and purchased "Haul Away and Removal" services at checkout (the only services that were available when I went to check out online). They deliver through XPO Logistics, a 1-star rated delivery company. Go ahead and google their atrocious reviews while you're at it. XPO confirmed with me the day before my scheduled delivery. At NO point did Lowe's or XPO ask me if my appliances were disconnected, or inform me that my appliances had to be disconnected. When XPO deliverymen arrived at my house, they informed me (for the first time) that the current W/D had to be disconnected, and that they are not legally allowed to disconnect OR install the new appliances for me. But...for a fee on the side, they would. They told me that this is a common occurrence, where Lowe's sends out appliances without telling people that they need to be professionally disconnected or installed...must be nice to have such a lucrative side job offering off-the-book disconnection/installlation. Bottom Line: Lowe's and their shipping affiliates made NO effort to convey to me that my appliances needed to be professionally disconnected before the deliverymen could "Haul Away and Remove," as I paid for them to do. Now I have to confirm with Lowe's and XPO that my appliances have been disconnected before they will allow me to reschedule. What a scam. read more

My husband and I were at the store on Saturday 5/22/21 to get something's and I wanted to use my $100 Lowe's gift card my daughter got me for Mother's Day . I got some indoor plants and other items . I told the cashier I had a $100 gift card and she said she needed the four digit code and I was about to scratch off the gray coating when she said give it to me I'll scratch it here , she scratch it deep and fast on a piece of metal attached to the cashiers draw . She scratched away the code . Ugh Lou ( last name unk) a very sweet gentle person came and attempted for over an hour to help . I had to send my spouse to the car as he had begun to get agitated as I didn't want him to make a scene . Lou assisted me and became a customer advocate as it was not my fault with this problem . He got the manager to compensate me for the time I was there waiting . . He could not at that moment get the card to work as who ever he called had him on hold the entire time . He did get me 30 % off my entire purchase and promised to work on my card . I was able to leave the store. The next day he called me and said my card was ready , I was Soo happy but had some libations and did not wish to get behind the wheel . Today ( Monday ) I went in because he said he starts at 6:30 and we made eye contact and over the mask I can see him smile and wave . He says to me " I kept the envelope close to me the whole time ". Service was god awful. I placed an order for curbside pick up I parked in the correct location called the phone number and was hung up on several times. I had to enter the store where I spent 45 minutes waiting in line at customer service only to be greeted by a customer service rep wearing a mask not covering her nose who had no knowledge of social distancing who came closer and closer despite the fact my order was right in front of her but she would not listen. When I finally got my order there were items missing and the items I did receive correctly were damaged. Unless you want to receive whatever items the employees feel like destroying do not order from Lowe's. read more

I called every department extension and waited at least 5 min each time with no answer, so I chose the "curb side" option and when someone answered I said I just needed to know if an item was in stock because no one was answering any of the extensions. I've been to this place more times than I actually checked in. We had to do a recent remodel of our bathroom and I was visiting this Lowes every other day during that period. Its a nice location near other shops including Wegman's and its not that busy. They are mostly helpful but expect one night we couldn't find anyone in the flooring to answer our questions. They had to intercom a person to come, I guess it was a shift change during that time. Week nights is the best time to go because its not that busy but expect to search for help. This store has the worst customer service EVER. I set up an estimate for flooring and explained to the guy what it was I wanted which was an lvp flooring for two rooms and stairs. I waited about 2.5 weeks for the contractor to come because their availability was SO inconvenient for people who work during the day. When the contractor got there he informed me that Lowe's doesn't even install lvp stairs like lumber liquidators does. I called the store to explain how infuriated I was that they wasted my time and all they could tell me was that they would speak with the sales associate to let him know he was wrong. Jeez, thanks that helps me out a lot. I went in to the same location to get a credit card and dealt with someone named in Hazel in customer service who is SO RUDE. I've dealt with her before for a return also and she speaks so condescendingly, it takes everything in me to bite my tongue. And then on top of being rude, she doesn't even know what she's doing half the time which makes it even worse. This Lowe's location is conveniently close to home which is the only reason I stop in here from time to time. From Beverly who always welcomes me with a friendly hello, remembering every project I've come in for to Kevin in paint who saved me when my dog chewed through a wall (which I didn't know the paint color of) to Will in lumber who was quick to show me a couple useful tools for small cutting jobs. The selection, however, is better than at the surrounding Home Depot locations and some other Lowes stores, so I still go there, provided I know what I want and know it is in stock. If you don't know what you need, or you need advice, as distinct from locating a product in the store, I'd suggest you go elsewhere. Pros: Well-stocked, reasonable prices, sometimes excellent unadvertised clearance items, especially in plumbing and electrical, open late. Cons: Minimal, vaguely unhelpful/unpleasant staff, no experienced mechanics on staff. Located in Woodbridge but the store itself is a royal pain to drive to as you can't access it directly from any major road. Special note on Lowes: I buy their appliances online, not in the store. In 11/10/21 my dad and I visited the Woodbridge store #1658 looking to buy a snow blower. We saw different models, but we needed more information before making the purchase. We asked for help. Steven and Jose came to help us. They were friendly and accommodating. Steven educated us about the different types of snow blowers. He was patient, personable, and knowledgeable. We ended up buying a snow blower. It was a little heavy to carry, so Jose brought it to our vehicle for us. What an amazing experience. Drove 45 min yesterday to pick up a fireplace at 7:00, I was told originally they had 3 in stock. Got there went to speak with someone in customer support to not waste time and get in and get out. I was given an attitude immediately. Walked away to get some help from someone else, Found a gentlemen by the name of Hector who tried his best to assist. No one knew a damn thing about anything. The fire place on display was not only sold out the price went from 199 to 250. The "manager" refused to sell me the on display which is reasonable. I saw another one that I liked Hector checked the computer and it said there was 2 in stock. He couldn't find any and no one wanted to help. I wasted 45 min driving there and another 45 minutes trying to locate these fireplaces. There people in here that shouldnt be working in customer service. HORRIBLE. read more

This Lowes is right across the street from my office, so if I need something quick - I can just stop in during my lunch break or on the way home from work. The store is clean, bright, and organized. The employees always ask if you need any help. I had one bad experience when an employee was very pushy in trying to help me. I don't like that, being a girl, all the male employees feel like they have to 'save' me in the big, scary store. I know what I'm looking for, thank you. If I need your help, I will seek you out. I don't need you badgering me with questions on what project I am doing. read more
