I feel like I've been robbed. I have 2 holes in my favorite pair of shorts. I took them in to get stitched up and patched up. Well let's just say a 6 year old could see better than who ever charged me $30 for less than acceptable patchwork. Secondly, I took my Patagonia Down jacket to get dry cleaned. I paid $120 delivered. To have it dry cleaned, which looks and smells NO different. They charged me $60. No wonder why they have only 3 stars. I literally now have to take my shorts to a more reputable place. read more

Drop off was quick and easy. I needed 24 hour turn around on a dress for an event and they were able to deliver. I am pleased with the quality of service. They are more expensive than other businesses, but the location was perfect between work and home. Likely will continue to use this business when I am in a pinch or can't make it to my regular place. read more

I met the owner and he is a very nice and honest person, and takes pride in his work. Yes they had to re-do the zipper on the coat I brought in, but he was apologetic, helpful and gave me a discount for the delay, and it was ready a day later. I like the vibes in this store, very ethereal, zen and calm. They are more competitive than other cleaners too, and from the looks of their inventory, they are quite successful and busy. Really an excellent service to Lowry and the area. The only other nearby cleaners are often overpriced, and don't offer the personal service I have experienced at Lowry Eco Cleaners. The reviewer who stated that he was overcharged must have been cleaning sweaters or somehow otherwise been mis-charged. The usual price for men's shirts is very reasonable, especially compared to surrounding businesses. As mentioned, they also have expedited service at no extra charge, and I've never once had a garment come back shrunk, stained, or unclean. The way in which the cleaned clothes are packaged is also indicative of their commitment to quality and the pride they put into their work. read more

I originally came here because of they good reviews. It's hard to find cleaners with a lot of reviews. Wow... don't believe it. 2 of my really nice dresses are ruined permanently! Dropped off my dresses... was given the whole spiel on there great eco products used there. Came to pick it up and 2 of my dresses were damaged in the process. I am a very particular person and I made sure my dresses were in good condition going in. The seam to one dress completely came out. and my other dress had several severe runs through them and cannot be fixed, as if something sharp had been dragged through it. I came back and complained. They asked me why I didn't check when I picked it up (I guess I'm a trusting person... do they think I went home and damaged my dresses and blamed it on them?). The girl said her mother (owner) is also a seamstress and can fix the seams (she didn't really apologize, she just told me they could fix it). As for the runs... nothing could be done. I let them fix it. But they didn't even return my money for the cleaning service (it is not cheap). Didn't even apologize for the damaged dresses. They simply didn't want to acknowledge fault whatsoever. Ahhhhh!!!! Worse business ever! read more

Only once have we had an issue in several years of service...a pair of my husband's pants came back with a strange mark that could not be removed. The owner asked my husband how much he paid for the pants and immediately cut him a check on the spot. Try finding that response anywhere else. They also do alterations and dry cleaning in Lafayette for anyone in that area. Definitely a winner. Lowry Eco Cleaners is fantastic. I totally dropped the ball and didn't dry clean my suit before an important meeting. I realized this the day before and frantically took it in and asked if it was possible to get it by the following day. Not only could they have it ready for me the next morning, but there was no extra cost! It was extremely affordable to begin with ($13 for a two piece suit) and they did a fantastic job. I have been to many expensive dry cleaners in the area and always felt I was being overcharged for mediocre service. I felt Lowry Eco Cleaners did a wonderful job at a reasonable price. I have been going back ever since! Personally, I love Lowry Eco Cleaners too. They are fast offering next day service and every time I drop my clothing off, it comes back brand new. They are ECO for a reason no harsh chemicals used and for laundry, wet cleaning only which is great because there is no typical smell associated with the outcome. Kind and friendly owner. Efficient drop off and quick turnaround. Clothes look great! My only complaint is that they are quite expensive. $10/blouse. $16/cotton casual dress. $9.75/slacks. $31/table cloth (no iron fabric). There are cleaners in the area who charge much less when you are not in a hurry. In a pinch, Lowry Eco Cleaners is a great place to go. read more

I really, really wanted to like this business, as the owner is very nice, they're so very handy (and have a monopoly on Lowry now that they own both shops, so my only real choice), but I just can't! They're WAY over priced from what Esquire was, so when I mentioned that to the owner, he said I need to ask for"the discount." So now, every time I drop off, I ask for the discount (20%). It's great! I get it and now they're in line with where the prior cleaner was... But I have to ask! (And at times deal with a very snarky employee, who seems notat all happy when I ask for it!) But upon picking up my order today, I see I'm not only missing a piece (shell to a cardigan set... So whole set now essentially gone!), But in reviewing everything found they over charged for many things (eg, said shirts were wool that are cotton, charged for king sheets that are queen)... And this is the second time I've found they've over charged!... So.. While I have found that they do a fine job, please know this: 1) they have a super secret, potentially pride busting cuz you have to ask for it and get judged by the not happy employee, 20% discount, 2) they lose things, so plan ahead for an extra few minutes to COUNT before and after, 3) they Over charge... OFTEN! So check! But they really are very, very nice! (But my drive back there tomorrow morning may just negate the eco friendliness of it all...sorry! ) read more

Service is excellent with reasonable turnaround times. The only con is the price. We paid 5.50 for pants and 8.50 for men's sport coats which is a bit more than other dry cleaners. We will likely go back given the excellent service. read more

I can't seem to find any dry cleaners with decent reviews but my dog pooped on my down comforter... yes you read that right... and it needed to be cleaned... and Lowry Eco Cleaners are down the street so I thought I would try it out. I brought my comforter in on a Tuesday. They told me it would be ready on Friday and it would be $35... not bad... pretty cheap actually. They helped me find the spots that needed cleaning and I went on my way. I got a text late on Wednesday saying the comforter was done!!! WOW! That was fast. I picked it up on Thursday and it was perfect. Super clean AND they packaged it into a nice bedding bag. So... pretty great service. I am impressed. I will bring clothing by to be dry cleaned next. The one thing I will say is, their shirt laundry is like $2.50 a shirt... and that's more than double what we pay elsewhere... So, that's frustrating. We basically use it for pressing my husband's collared shirts and $2.50 is steep. Will think about that... :) read more

It seems impossible to find a reliably good dry cleaner. Unfortunately, Lowry Eco was no exception. I tried Lowry Eco because it's close to my house. Dry cleaners never find all the spots, so I spot my clothes myself by applying colored stickers to all the spots. Most cleaners don't like this (they should, because I'm making it easy for them to catch everything, and therefore leave me satisfied). I asked if this was OK and Lowry Eco said yes. Good sign. However, after picking them up, I noticed that several items still had the spots I had marked. In some cases, it was clear that they had not even worked on the spots at all, leaving me to believe they simply ripped off all my 'spot' stickers, and went about checking my clothes themselves, resulting in missed spots, as is my usual experience with cleaners. The overall cleaning on items w/o noticeable spots was also sub-par. Basic arm pit stains were not only still there, but appeared even more pronounced, as if the cleaning process made them a darker yellow than before. Also, the prices are too high - and definitely a horrible value for 'spotty' cleaning and an obvious disregard for the spots I pointed out. I will not go back. And so, the quest for a decent dry cleaner sadly continues. read more

Lowry Eco Cleaners is by far the best dry cleaner I have ever used in Colorado, eco or not. I have used them since they originally opened as I had been looking for an eco-cleaner and could not find a good one that was even remotely convenient. It only took one order of cleaning to know that they were head and shoulders above other cleaners. My husband is extremely picky about his shirts - these have the sleeves folded and pinned in front to prevent any wrinkling and are crisp and perfect every time. I have also had difficult items - I spilled an entire breakfast burrito down the front of a silk evening gown (don't ask...) and I took it in without even blotting the front. It was pretty disgusting and I figured it was a lost cause - but they returned it absolutely perfectly after having to clean it multiple times. They also did not charge me any extra for the service. I now have moved 25 minutes away and STILL drive all the way here for my dry cleaning. I take enormous orders of around 30 pieces each time now and they are always returned perfectly and on time. I have also requested overnight service on some of these large orders when I needed them for traveling and it has been no problem and incurred no additional charge. Prices are also very reasonable. Again, from an extremely picky family when it comes to dry cleaning, these guys are amazing. read more
