What's available during open hours: Farm animals to visit and alpaca products to purchase (and more). My cousin and I made an imromptu visit to this little gem over a year ago. I have fallen in love with "The Farm", as I call it now. Tahny and Kent are amazing people. They have opened up their space to allow the public to come in and learn about the wonderful variety of animals that are on their care. Emus, cattle, pigs, donkeys, goats, chickens, and more (we don't talk about the geese LOL) can be found on this lovely little farm. If you want to experience the country without being responsible for it, I highly recommend going to Lowry's Little Flock Farm. The products available to purchase in the shop are absolutely amazing. The majority are made from alpaca fiber. If you have any questions on alpaca products, Tahny and Kent are the people to talk to. And if you're lucky, there might be baked goods for sale. read more

This place is so much fun!! You get to bring your own snacks to feed the animals which my kiddos thought was hilarious (we brought goldfish!) There is a little rope swing which my kid played on forever! Their flower garden is beautiful! Their baked goods are divine! I was super impressed that there were these kids bothering the geese (very inappropriate bothering) and as I was getting up to say something the owner immediately stepped out of the store to tell them not to and tell them why it's not ok! Thank you for providing a free space to interact with these animals we will be back again and again! Lowry's farm is a gem for our rural community. The pastry counter is mesmerizing I always buy a little more than intended because I can't make up my mind. I love to shop their large array of alpaca products for myself as well as for gifts. But the joy of seeing all their animals and smiles they bring to kids and adults alike is great. This family puts their heart and soul into their beautiful rescue farm. I was very saddened to see the negative review recently posted I only wish the writer had asked the Lowry's questions and educated themselves on how they run the beautiful little farm before posting an uneducated review. read more

What a gem of a place! Us city folk get to experience country living for an hour or two. Love feeding those cute and sometimes SO funny animals. And...stop by the "tiny house" shop that carries gorgeous items made from their very own alpaca wool. Hungry...oh my. We have been coming to Lowry's for a good 2 years now, and we have such a good time every time! My 3 year old has so much fun feeding and petting the animals, and the animals are so sweet and well taken care of. It truly is a little paradise for these animals and you can tell how spoiled and happy they are. It's just the beginning of summer so I'm sure we will be out many more times! I cannot say enough good things about this farm. The owners are awesome and the fact that they share their farm with all of us is an added bonus. The baked goods are off the charts good and the little shop is a great place to buy things you can't find other places. I bought my first pair of alpaca socks in the fall and I wore them all winter. They are soft and extremely warm. The animals are so fun to watch and you can tell how much they are loved. I highly recommend making a visit to support this farm. read more

This farm is one of our secret favorites to bring family and friends to. Much to our delight, many of the animals were out and about roaming the grounds during our visit last weekend. We also took home a giant box of arguably the best sweet treats in the county for Mother's Day! The animals are all well loved, stuffed to the max with snacks from visiting friends, and there is plenty of room to just sit and be with nature. We love going to lowry's. My granddaughter thinks it is her farm. You can see that the animals are very well taken care of. The person who left the bad review should have gone and asked questions. If you know your cows, you would know that being boney is their characteristic. This family loves their animals and if you go there you will see. This farm has been a great asset to our community. We are obsessed with Lowrys!!! They have the best bakery and the cutest shop. The animals are so gentle and very clearly well taken care of. My son had no issues roaming the property with his gait trainer and my niece and nephew loved being able to feed the animals over and over again. It's such a unique place and I love that it's so close to home. My son gets experience such a fun thing he wouldn't have had the opportunity to otherwise! A beautiful and well run farm that offers a petting area and has a quaint , charming little gift shop with items made from alpaca wool and the most delicious, homemade baked goods. A great asset to the community, lovely people and a wonderful way to spend a weekend afternoon. If I had one suggestion it would be to be open more than just Saturday and Sunday but if that is the business model that works for them then stay with it. read more

Our family LOVES the Lowry's Little Flock Farm. We go many times a month. It is a great FREE thing to do with the kids of all ages that is hands on and allows them to feed the animals and run around with independence. Not to mention the bakery items which are AMAZING. Lowry's Little Flock Farm is wonderful. We have visited several times and my son loves to see the animals. This family has opened their home for all in the community to come and visit with the animals-free of charge. The animals are always well taken care of as far as we have see. We love our trips to the farm. It is a great place to bring the grandkids and great grandkids. They can wander at their own pace, feeding the animals, and enjoying being outdoors. Visited this fun little farm recently as I had heard many good things about it. I wasn't disappointed. Great place to bring kids to enjoy the outdoors, feed some animals.
