Had a fantastic experience at Loyal Order. We were early for our reservation and the staff's hospitality was top notch. In fact, they had a comfy bed to lounge on until our table was ready. The whole atmosphere is unforgettable. Drinks were made with fresh juice and served just right. Grilled octopus appetizer, manti, and lamb were all delicious. We would have done the tasting menu but it's pesos only and we didn't carry enough. You can pay USD cash at a conversion rate only slightly worse than ATM. There were some bugs/mosquitos but your on a beach near a jungle so that's is expected. read more

This was our first dive into the incredibly instagrammable world of Tulum beach bars. We had our minds blown. On our first day in Tulum we were wandering up the beach strip looking for a nice afternoon cocktail, and we didn't want to fight the hoards of beach fams at the hotel bars. Don't get me wrong, we are tourists and do not, by any stretch of the imagination, pretend otherwise-- but still, we wanted to get away from the mobs. Loyal Order isn't super well advertised from the street and you definitely might miss it if you do not know what you're looking for. You walk directly into the sand and up through the tropical trees and bushes that grow along the dunes. Small intimate tables and scattered through the premise. Everything is naturally beautiful. If you keep walking, you will come out to the beach and ocean (obviously...) and they have a few couches and spots set up closer to the water. The bar and kitchen itself melt away into teh sand and the brush. There was almost no one else there when we stopped by around 4:30pm et on a Sunday in March. We got two delicious cocktails- they were refreshing and beautiful. The prices were fairly high (around 10 USD). We didn't scoff at the high prices though because we were so in love with where we were. I would come back here any day of the week, month or year. I wish I was there right now. read more

Loyal Order is truly a special place nestled amongst the mangroves over looking the ocean at Tulum Beach. We were greeted with a warm welcome smile as soon as we entered. We had reservations for 4 @ 6:00, my opinion is the best time because you get to see the beautiful restaurant with sunlight and watch the sunset. The atmosphere is a beach/jungle vibe with a twist of Turkish accents.. Service and food was pretty good. We shared hummus, pistachio cheese, calamari, baba ganoush. They were all excellent! My husband had lamb dish (the most expensive dish on menu) and he was a little disappointed and said it was over cooked and crunchy. I had lamb kebab and it was tough to eat but Flavors were good. I would like to try the chicken kebab next time ;) I recommend Loyal Order to anyone looking for good Mediterranean food with intimate setting. Had an amazing date experience at this spot. We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation time, but were greeted warmly by the staff. We were offered a beach/day bed or an intimate small table to wait at for our table while we sipped on some delicious drinks. The ambience and experience is incredible and like nothing else I have ever experienced. The entire restaurant is outside in what feels like a forest-meets-beach that's sprinkled with candles and nice lighting. All of the food was amazing and easy to share. I had the octopus which was incredible. A few notes to be aware of: Similar to some other spots in Tulum, this place is cash only. While this may not seem like a big problem, the restaurant itself is fairly isolated. This means if you don't bring a large sum of pesos or cash, you're going to be limited to what you can enjoy as you can't walk to a local ATM. We brought a little less cash than we should have and this hampered our drinking and dining experience. I wish the restaurant accepted card, or at least had an ATM onsite, as we would have spent more. Mosquitos. I saw another party had bought bug spray, which was something I definitely wish we had considered. The next morning we noticed we had lots of bug bites. Obviously this isn't the fault of the restaurant, as bugs are everywhere in Tulum, but be prepared to deal with bugs if you don't bring repellant. read more

We dropped in here as it was close to where we were staying and we fancied something a little different. The place has a "cool" vibe as soon as you walk in; you can tell they're happy for you to just relax with a beer or order enough food for an army. The drinks were great and you could definitely taste the tequila! A nice change from some of the "2 for 1" places in Tulum which we were doubtful if they even added alcohol at all. The food was amazing, easily the best we had in Tulum and some of the tastiest we had in Mexico. The hummus is authentic and packs a huge amount of flavour, their secret in house olives are delicious. And I HATE olives. You MUST order the fritters here though, wow, so much flavour. Service: Exceptional. The server named Claudia went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and explained each dish in full detail. It's refreshing to be taken care of by a server that is happy and enjoys working at Loyal Order. We sat at in the lounge area and the weather was a bit windy however blankets were brought out to break the wind. Some sand got on the table due to the wind and she quickly cleaned the table for us as we dined. Super attentive and kind. Food: we ordered the Kibbeh to start. Crunchy outside but soft inside and melt in your mouth. The green sauce finished it off perfectly. Packed with flavor. For main dishes we ordered Hungar Begendi kebab, lamb tandir, lamb shish Kabab(slightly overlooked)and Manti. ALL of the dishes were seasoned to perfection and our whole party raved about the flavors. Desert was Mastica rice pudding. Home cooked desert type of dish. had good flavor but for some in our party found it underwhelming compared to our main dishes. Atmosphere: Jungle atmosphere, however check the weather since it is an outdoor dining experience. I would def recommend this restaurant and dine again here next time coming to Tulum read more

Food was not very good across the board-and ive eaten plenty in Istanbul. Cauliflower main course was average and the atomic bomb appetizer was by far the worst tasting dish I had all week- probably all year. I am Turkish henceforth have eaten much Turkish food in my life. I was intrigued to find out there was a Turkish restaurant while vacationing in Tulum so naturally I had to come here! The food is amazing, I know good Turkish food and this is great Turkish food, it tastes just as delicious as it does when I am in Istanbul. I had the hummus and chicken kebab, my dinner also came with mezze and it was all extremely tasty! Everyone should definitely come and try this place when in Tulum, you will not regret it! read more

This place is gorgeous! That's the only thing you need to know. Wait...ok, more details to come: the food is amazing (modern Turkey quisine), the cocktails are flawless, the view is basically stunning, the atmosphere is unique! This review is long over due. I am a cook/baker by profession and have worked in Michelin restaurants to artisan bakeries for the last 15 years In San Francisco/ Bay Area. I was born in Turkey and lived a good 15 years of my life there. These guys are really doing an amazing job. They elevate Turkish cuisine to another level. They source the best ingredients and cook with the right techniques. It is not a gimmick as some other tweezer restaurant are around Tulum. I highly reccomend loyal order. read more
