The donut poster at Golden Curry I had walked past so many times finally lured me in. I ordered 2 caramel donuts & 1 blueberry donut to share with my husband. We enjoyed the blueberry donut same as we would a Dunker-- but we LOVED the caramel ones! The dough is sooo thick and fluffy and the caramel icing is sooo sweet. Sometimes a donut can feel dry or not sweet enough, but these are truly delectable. I try to get one (or two!) every week. Since discovering the donuts, we've also tried the entrees at Golden Curry. The egg rolls are nice and crisp, not like the frozen ones from the grocery store. The chu chee shrimp is a real delight. The curry sauce is bursting with complexity and bold spices, and the vegetables are really soaked with the sauce. The portion sizes are definitely big enough to split with both people leaving feeling full. The miso soup was just broth, no tofu, seaweed or green onion to speak of. I saw a family having hibachi which looked ok and obviously fresher than the buffet. The location itself is very dated. The lighting over the buffet is also terrible. I like to see what I'm putting on my plate. It looks like they tried to revamp the furniture themselves at some point and the whole inside is run down. If you're a sushi lover I'm pretty confident this won't be for you.
