I came in on a Saturday to drop it off and they tested to see what type of gold it was (18k) so it was $45. I signed the slip and left it in their hands. The following Saturday I called them to ask when I can expect it to be done and they said they were working on it at the moment and should be done and cleaned up before they closed. I ended up picking it up the following business day and the repair was great, the weld is super small and you can't tell unless you look at it closely. I went to the store and the person working behind the counter was not able to find any so he left a note for the owner and told me that the owner would call me as soon as he returned. It has been ten days and the owner hasn't called. A few days later I drove past the store and their neon OPEN sign was turned on in their front window. So I found a parking place on Riverside Avenue (not easy) and went to their door. It was locked with a small CLOSED sign and another sign that said they would return at 11AM. It was after 12 noon when this occurred. Three days later I drove by the store again and the neon OPEN sign was off but their front security door was wide open with a big OPEN sign hanging from it. I was lucky enough to find a parking place directly in front of the store. When I got to the front door with the OPEN sign, the door was locked and there was no button to push so I could be buzzed in like other coin shops have. So I called their phone number and it just rang and rang so there was obviously nobody in this "open" coin shop. Whomever runs this place is an inconsiderate buffoon who is too dim to be in business, and they will certainly not be receiving any business from me.
