I've been their customer since 2008 and have never had a bad experience! Never. These reviews are crazy. As for letting customers know about their pawns that is the customer's responsibility. Secondly, they do let customers know in the mail. They try to extend your pawns if needed as well. Customers need to work with them. So to say they are rude and don't work with the customer, that is not true. As for their doors. lol. The doors are not jammed. The doors have buzz locks for safety of everyone. You ring a door bell, they buzz you in. Are we really complaining about doors? I also want to make it clear there is only one entrance and exit and that is the front of the store. If there is a back it is a fire exit and for employees only. Every single employee who has helped me with selling stuff, buying stuff, layaway or loans have been very professional to me. I've noticed professional customer service towards other customers as well. The only rudeness I have witnessed is by the customers. Sometimes customers don't like their quote. Often the customer are missing paperwork or do not have sellable goods, so they get frustrated or desperate and they take it out on the employees. As for the management, top notch!! Yes, I know what's up at this pawn shop because I've been coming here for almost two decades. I wanted to work here at one time! It looked like fun and challenging. Went back to the place & they had new guns & even the dream gun I wanted & was very familiar with in using. They let me take the down payment off the 1st one & put it on the new one without a fee. I came in today and was helped by a young woman who was initially pleasant. She told me that I…read moreneeded to bring additional cash in order to buy back the earrings I had previously pawned. I gave her $10, and the amount owed was $7.50. She brought back my change and told me she was giving me $2.50, then placed the money in the slot. I noticed she said "$2.50," but I only saw $2 in bills and a few (dimes and nickels,) so I asked if she had any quarters. She said no, and I told her that was fine. I took my change and left. However, when I got to my car, I counted the change because something didn't feel right. I realized that she had only given me $2.40 instead of $2.50, leaving me 10 cents short. I walked back inside, and I saw her come to the window and place two nickels in the slot without saying a word. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. I walked back out to my car AND THEN noticed that my earring holder was missing from my jewelry box. I realized that when I originally pawned my earrings, I had given them the earring holder that contained my earrings. So, I went back inside ONCE AGAIN to ask if they still had my holder. This time, a man came to the window, and I asked if they still had my earring holder. He went to the back and asked the young woman about it. She became very loud with him and spoke as though I had accused her of something ABSOLUTELY heinous. I was surprised by her negative reaction, especially since I was simply asking about an item that belonged to me. The owner eventually came out. He was kind and professional, and I appreciate that he made an effort to rectify the situation. He gave me a new jewelry box, which I appreciated. That is why I am giving this business 2 stars (instead of 1). Lastly, 10 cents and a bad attitude may not seem like a big deal, but small situations like this can easily become a bigger issue in the future, especially when dealing with customers' money and personal belongings. I hope all employees receive the proper training and customer-service guidance to ensure situations like this do not happen again.

I sold the ring on eBay to a diamond buyer, who had a shop in Massachusetts. I had no problems with the transaction & no complaints about any "chip" on the diamond.
