Since 2011, Loyalty Pet has been taking care of my two bosses, Cluny and Cuervo, the two cats who let me live here with them. I met Terry, the owner, through a relative who was a friend of hers and was immediately struck that she was someone who loved animals, all animals, as much as I do. I arranged for her to take care of my cats while I went overseas for over 2 weeks at Christmas and I've been using Loyalty Pet ever since! While Katty (love her) or Jessica (love her, too!) may take care of my boys as well as Terry, I am confident that they are going to be well cared for, played with, and loved while I am gone. And since they are older cats and I worry about their health, I know that all the sitters are really attuned to changes in behavior that may indicate that my cats aren't feeling well. This year, they even had to take Cuervo to the vet to get a steroid shot he really needed, and it was no problem at all. I also have a mother in hospice in another state, so they have been taking care of the boys while I visit her as much as I can, sometimes at short notice. They even were able to take care of the cats a couple of months ago when a relative died in Arkansas and we had to leave the same day we heard the news. They were wonderful! In such a time of turmoil over a very unexpected family death, I cannot stress how comforting it was not to have to worry about my kitties at all. I am crazy about my cats and do worry about them as they are getting older. Katty, Jessica (and new sitter for me, Claire) are wonderful about taking pictures of the cats often and sending them via text if I'm in the states or email if I'm abroad. I even have Loyalty Pet come and care for my cats when I'm gone even though my nephew (who loves the kitties) may be here; he's great, but I know my sitters are professionals who are going to notice any problems that he might not. Terry use to watch my two dogs. Terry came highly recommended to me when I was getting my new rescue puppy. My boyfriend and I already had our Bichon, who was 7 at the time, before acquiring our rescue puppy so we wanted someone who could work with both of our dog's needs. Terry was EXCELLENT!! She was very attentive to both dogs and made sure they both were taken care of. It is hard to leave a puppy at home, but it made me feel better knowing that every day Terry would be there to play with him and our other dog. She leaves a journal after every visit and really explains how they are doing. She noticed when my dog had worms so I could get him treated which is hard to know with puppies. She was easy to reach and very adaptable to my rapidly changing schedule. She really loves all animals and takes a personal interest in each of them. Our dogs loved Terry and looked forward to seeing her each day. One day I forgot to call Terry to let her know I was home sick and when she walked in the door my dogs ran to her and gave her a ton of kisses. Terry is also great about spending time with the owners and answering any questions too. My 14 year old Lhaso Apso was a sassy girl (to put it lightly) with mobility issues due to ruptured discs in her back and the corrective surgery that followed. I called Terry at Loyalty with our story and let her know that we were no longer able to travel with Ellie so we were looking for pet sitters in the area to care for her when we had to be out of town. I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to hiring someone to care for my own dog and especially gun shy of referring others in my competing business area for fear that they wouldn't be able to measure up to my high standards. Loyalty Pet Care has met and exceeded my expectations. They were absolutely awesome with communication of Ivy's happiness levels when I was away. I chose them because I know Terry, the owner, personally and know that she is very strict with her attention to detail in animal care. I can't say enough good things about Terry and Loyalty. From the first time we booked her for our honeymoon, she was thorough and efficient, and clearly loves animals. (I mean, my cats are awesome, but I'm perhaps biased.) Her rates are reasonable, she responds promptly, and we always come home to happy cats. But what really moved me to write a review here was that last weekend, when my grandfather passed away, my husband and I called Terry on the way out of town to see if we could schedule a last-minute appointment for the day or two we'd be gone. Terry quickly responded that she'd be happy to stop in to check on the cats and not to worry about how many days we needed her; she'd just keep coming until we told her we were back home. AND she didn't charge anything extra, despite our making arrangements literally from the parking lot of a gas station halfway to North Carolina. She's awesome. I hired Loyalty Pet Care to care for my two new rescue dogs while my husband and I went on vacation. After comparing prices with day cares and boarding, in-home pet service with Loyalty was comparable. The tricky part was that we were vacationing over Thanksgiving and Loyalty was caring for the dogs over half the holiday and then family was watching the dogs the other half. A tricky setup for some dog-walkers but Terry at Loyalty handled it lovely! I was confident that my dogs were in good hands. Communication was clear on prices and times that she would be visiting. She wrote a ton in the journal about what the dogs did that day (IE. Betty pooped and Jack only peed) I would recommend her and will use her in the future for my pet care needs. I have really appreciated and relied on Loyalty Pet Care consistently for the last two years. They are professional, prompt in all communication, and every employee clearly loves animals. I trust them completely with my senior-age cat, and find vacations much less stressful because they take such great care of not only my cat but my house. They have also been really great at adapting to my senior-age cat's changing needs over the years as she has had new medications added and gone fully blind. They do a great job of providing updates every time they visit your pet, cleaning up after themselves, and tidying the pet area, as well as keeping a journal so you can read about each visit when you get back. They are pricey, but worth it, and you get a lot more peace of mind for the price than if you went with a one-off sitter or neighbor. read more

I am a new customer, and I have been very pleased with Loyalty Pet Care so far. I work at a law firm, so my hours can be highly unpredictable; Loyalty had no problem rescheduling my home visit twice. Scheduling my "project" (as they call it) was very easy; the Loyalty staff is constantly following up. While I was gone, I received daily updates on my cat, as well as many photos and videos! It definitely made being away from my cat less stressful. When I came home, there was a detailed account of each visit in the notebook which Loyalty provided. My cat eats wet food and so has to be fed twice a day. I expected some resistance in setting up two Cat Contented (30-minute) visits per day, but it was no problem! Loyalty Pet Care is amazing! Terry, the owner, has been walking my dog for well over a year now and is fabulous. She is extremely trustworthy, responsible, caring, and best of all, great with my dog. Terry treats my baby like she is one of her own and even goes out of her way to let me know if my pup seems "off" that day. Terry leaves very detailed notes in a journal every day. She also not only walks dogs, but gives them tons of love and snuggles. The pricing for walks is about average for the area, but for such wonderful care it's definitely a steal. Terry started walking my rescued German Shepherd after I returned to work. I had been retired for 2 1/2 years. I didn't know how Bonnie would take to me being gone (again) but I believe she enjoys it thoroughly and a large part of that is due to Terry. She enjoys her walks (not so much on hot days) but especially the hugs and scratching!!! Bonnie is still shy but Terry has done wonders with her. Loyalty is absolutely professional. They take their job seriously and that means something to me, because my pets are family to me. I have a very special reason for appreciating the quality of care they give: Terry saved my dog's life--literally. We were out of town and she was caring for my dog and cats. She found the dog extremely ill and rushed him to the vet. It's a long story, and the dog required emergency surgery, but it all ended well. I have been using Terry for pet walking for the past two years. I adopted two older Jack Russell Terriers from a shelter, and boy do they love Terry. Having her come every day; when I need her after work or on occasional long weekends has been a such a great service, and has added so much to my dogs' (and my) quality of life.
