Always Clean was easy to work with even from across the country. Set up an appointment which would work when I could get someone to meet him. The staff Jason, Devin and Stacey had very poor communication and a lack of follow-through that created significant coordination difficulties and confusion throughout a process that should not have required nine months to finish. The company claimed work could not proceed without payment from the insurance provider, essentially forcing us to pay a deposit under the guise that the balance would be reconciled later. Despite providing us with written estimates, they ultimately disregarded those figures, retaining our deposits even after being paid by the insurance company while still attempting to collect additional money. We believed this because we took the vinyl sample home, which was solid and were assured by the two sales associates that it would feel the same as the sample. My wife actually asked both of the sales associates if the floor would feel solid and be strong enough, as we have heavy furniture and her husband could lose a few pounds. Again, she was told it would feel solid, just like the sample, no problem. This has nothing to do with the sample being attached to a solid display board either, obviously. Our foundation is solid too. We noticed pretty quickly upon installation that this type of vinyl is for floating floors only and feels like an entirely different product. It's certainly not a firm or solid feel by any means, more like walking on a gym mat as the floor is not supposed to be firm. We returned to the store for what we thought would be an easy return or exchange, maybe a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, we were met by the owner Nick Beno, who was less than welcoming. When I explained to Nick that we relied on his 2 sales reps to give us accurate information about the flooring and that we needed to choose a different product now, his reply incredibly was "you should've done your own research, good luck going through the manufacturer". He refused to exchange the product or accept a return. That told me everything I needed to know about Beno's Flooring. He also said if I would've used the store's installer instead of just purchasing the flooring by itself, this wouldn't have happened. As if that would somehow change the flooring his associates convinced us to buy. Crooked to say the least. As someone who loves to support local business, this service was shameful. Buyer beware!
