I was told that I would be put on the waiting list because of the high demand of work to be done. Then I was told that if I paid an "Emergency Fee" that I could have the work done next week. Anyway I left that place and came upon a guy that told me about Stuver Springs. I call this place and was told to bring the trailer in an it's first come first served for the next day. I took the trailer in that very same day and before I had a chance to get my day started they called and said your trailer is ready... we close at four o'clock!!

The next morning, I was trying to find a place that could come tow it or put air in so I could drive it to be fixed, since that service was covered by our insurance. I called McCall's, and the call was sent to voicemail. While I was talking with my brother about the tire over the phone, I got a call back from Bill McCall. I returned the call, and he said they could come put air in it. When Jeff arrived less than 15 minutes later, he surprised me by saying HE would take the car to the shop, leave his truck at my house, and then bring my car back when they were finished. I thought that was pretty awesome, but they topped themselves by bringing it back and saying "no charge"!They also turned the tire around, because it had a noticeable mark on the tire from where I drove it flat. I was blown away!! Where on earth do you get that kind of service these days? So glad I went with a local company. They've been in the same spot for so long, they have to be doing things right or the business wouldn't have lasted. Everything was fine and well until I drove My vehicle out of the shop. I was quoted and purchased both an alignment as well as brake work. This came to a bit over $1,000. I was handed the keys after leaving it half a day and overnight because of a missing part. This was unexpected and last minute notice but still not a big problem and I walked home. The nex day upon picking it up I was reassured that Not only had they test drove it but had disassembled and reassembled some of the work after noticing the car didn't have the get up and go that it should. They contribute to this to transmission issues and recommended I see a specialist. I agreed that I would. After leaving however it was apparent that something was wrong with my brakes. It would take a solid 3 seconds to stop as if I was pushing the breakdown into mud. Immediately called Charles, the store manager, to and mention that I don't believe they bled the brakes nor could they have possibly test drove it and approved of the performance. He apologized and I brought it back a day later after being reassured that it would be safe for me to drive it short distance in the meantime. Today I dropped the car back off and after about an hour received a phone call informing me that it was leaking fluid from the brake system. Charles was sure to let me know that it hadnt been leaking when they did the work prior to me bringing the vehicle back and that they would have noticed the leaking. I explained to him that I believe that. That is all the more reason that I was not at fault seeing that they not only allowed me to leave with faulty job done and the vehicle supposedly not leaking at that point, But also when I called Charles and reported the new issue with my supposedly fixed brakes about 10 min after leaving, he reassured me that it would be safe to drive until Saturday seeing that he could not get me back in that same day. I did not drive long distance and stayed local seeing that it was so hazardous to be driving anyway. Despite this "conversation" I was simply told that he understood but, regardless, it was going to cost me an additional $500 to fix the leak. A leak that I did not have until after they worked on my car. A leak I did not have before I was reassured that I could drive the car with no concern until he could get me back in to fix the mistakes made previously. I spoke to the owner of Gold Star Auto Care for a second opinion and they agreed that I was robbed My boyfriend drove over to confront them about this matter and upon informing them that he would be contacting the better business bureau, charles threatened to call the police. I can't even believe that the manager had the audacity to attempt to charge me after unintentionally admitting the negligence let me just on their part. I am now without a vehicle after spending well over $1,000 to fix exactly what was quoted. I'm normally not the type to complain In fact I go out of my way to leave positive reviews where they are due. But in this case It is the opposite and I feel I need to warn future and current customers of this con job.

I then took it to Tallmadge Auto/Tire and they told me immediately it was the hub bearings and that Market muffler didn't even tighten the axle nut it was completely off. Mind you Ray the mechanic told me the car was good and ready to drive to south carolina! On top on their incompetence they were rude and dismissive and their mistake could have cost my life or at least catastrophic damage to my vehicle!
