I found this firm after two other places gave me the runaround over an HOA case involving their negligence on a repair that dragged on for over four years. From numerous posts preceding this one, you've been found out and exposed. I called about three months ago, and someone insulting answered the phone. Today I called, and it rang for 2 to 3 minutes before someone answered. There is no way that you can talk to a Lawyer or a legal person. The majority of potential cases do not get to the Lawyers because the calls are not correctly handled. Use caution and pay extra attention for any red signals when you receive your 1-hour consultation of $450 and only COMMIT on using their company if you are 110% comfortable. This was my experience: I scheduled my consultation and I asked to meet with one of their "best lawyers" and when my meeting came my husband and I were totally disappointed. The demeanor of this lawyer, was laid back, unknowledgeable about HOA's, was not engaged, and pretty much discouraged us from the beginning. We got the feeling that they make more money just collecting $450 from people. Luckily, he provided us with his name and license number and after our consultation, I researched his background and they had set-up us up with a lawyer that had government, corporate and finance background with poor lawyer ratings, didn't know much about CA law and had worked with their company for less than two years. We were fortunate enough that we received our money back after I reached back to the company and spoke to their management directly. I told him exactly what had happened and how one of their "best" lawyers was poorly and/or not qualified to take our case. UPDATE: Management did offer a second chance with a new lawyer which I had high hopes for and re-submitted all of my information once again before the new consult that was scheduled for 2-3 days later. When the new appointment came, it was only offered through a phone call (no video call). The new lawyer definitely did not review any of our information prior to meeting us and after we spoke for a few minutes she offered to begin the process for a refund. Unfortunately, it is hard for me to trust a company after a bad experience and maybe their google's response is legit and Andrew did have the "right" experience for the job, but in my eyes neither Andrew nor the new lawyer they paired us up with the second time, made us feel like our hard earned money and case was going to be handled with the importance, experience and professionalism that we were looking for. I am so grateful that we did not hire this company because their reviews and website content, I believe DO NOT AT ALL MATCH what they promote. KEY POINTS TO NOTE: I posted this review based on my personal experience on 9/21/2025 and today 9/22/2025, the manager who processed the refund back in May/June called me to discuss my experience with them and how to make things better for me. Called this firm due to a citation I received because I have yard signs that our HOA president found noxious. There really is no citation for yard signs but a restraint for election signs and time restraints. My yard signs are not that. One states "Are we great yet- cause I just feel embarrassed". The other is a Washington post motto "Democracy dies in silence'. Andrew Herzog my attorney lined out a strategy for letter writing and to who step by step and what to ask for. All the way to write to my senators. Our HOA president is a bully and feels very entitled and won't quit coming. I don't want to remove my12" signs. There are many signs in yards here. I choose this company because of the online reviews, but the reviews don't reflect my experience. Spoke to a Mr. Caplin who was very demeaning the whole time. I also paid for an hour and my call was ended in 35 mins. At the end of the conversation, he stated his assistant would book a follow up appointment but I never heard from them. I tried reaching out multiple times but no one seems to be responding. My money ($500 for an "hour") went to waste. Luckily I had another lawyer quickly pick up the case. Please be careful out there.
