My contractor had 16' pressure treated deck boards delivered from John's lumber. They really looked…read moresad and they were filled with knots (about 10- 15 knots per board). My contractor specified that we wanted "premium" boards - but the sales guy at John's told him that "premium" was just a marketing gimmick. When I called he gave me the same excuse. When I asked about the #2 & #1 stamps on the boards - he just reiterated his stance. I then called Fingerle Lumber and asked about pressure treated premium boards - they gave me the real scoop and I ordered new boards from Fingerle. They are beautiful, and almost knot free. They are also stamped "premium". We returned the sad boards to John's. Why 2 stars? Maybe the sales guy was just uneducated or new- benefit of the doubt.

We were originally going to go to Menards as they tend to have better quality lumber than Home Depot, but I'm glad we found Durst instead. Durst has high quality lumber for comparable prices, and they deliver for a VERY reasonable fee. The guys who work in the lumber area are extremely knowledgeable and were able to give us good advice for one of our projects. Excellent service. We will definitely be coming back here for all our lumber needs!

I purchased their top of the line extractor. It was supposed to be the lamborghini of all…read moreextractors. It caught on fire 2x at customers homes within 30 days of my purchase. I kept returning the machine for repairs and the management and owner put used and defective parts back in a new machine and tried to pass it of back to me, a 6000$++ purchase. The original pump was 500 psi and they tried to replace it with a 100psi pump thinking I wouldn't notice. The also replaced both 3 phase vac with 2 phase vacuums thinking I wouldn't notice. They are totally deceiving in their practices. BEWARE!!!!! Tom manager & the owner of the company purposely did this directly. I have receipts to prove my claims.
