I have been here many times, back in 2019 had the same situation where they left a giant scratch on my door but they refused to fix it saying it was already scratched. Didn't feel like arguing so just let it go & paid to have it fixed myself. Today went through the car wash, was at the vacuums and noticed several scratches on my hood that were not there previously. I proceeded to talk to the car wash employee who mentioned it was just a "paint crack", arguing with her wasn't going to get me anywhere again so just left & went to the shop to get a second opinion. The guy at the auto shop said it was 100% caused by the wash, more than likely by rocks stuck in the washing equipment. As someone who had the unlimited car wash pass for 2 years & been here countless times and this being the second time this has happened & Lucas Oil claims it's not their fault, I will NEVER return. Don't go here to get your car washed unless you have a shitty paint job to begin with. I recommend BOSS car wash on the north side or buggy bath on N Green River. read more

This is the best automatic car wash I have ever been to. My car actually looks like I hand washed it!! I usually get the middle wash that costs $14 but I think that it is the best deal and looks great. What's nice is that before you enter wash, two guys power wash the tough spots on your car. I feel that wash is well worth the money. There is also FREE vacuums that you can use. They also have a full service station as well. read more

Went to clean my car at this location. I used the vacuum first (no scratches/dent/chunk missing at this time) I proceeded to the car wash. After leaving the car wash I stopped at Menards To do some shopping. I noticed swirls on the sides of my Lincoln MKS. I THEN saw small scratches on the left side which lead me to seeing a nasty dent and a chunk of paint missing from the back passenger side of the car the size of a quarter! Not a happy customer. While traveling my oil plug blew out of my oil pan. The last group to do an oil change was Lucas Oil 3 days prior to the incident. Due to being on travel I could not call Lucas to come and get my vehicle so I had to take my car to a dealer. This was not a cheap repair. I tried working with Lucas but they say they are not responsible. read more

Scammed and Insulted by Lucas Oil Center My wife dropped off her 2012 Honda CRV to have the Front Break Pads changed. She was told it would take 15 minutes a wheel. She left the vehicle there to go to work. I purchased the break pads the day before from Auto Zone because I was going to change them myself before having to leave town for work unexpectedly. They refused to use the purchased pads because they could not guarantee them even though they purchase from Auto Zone (same place they purchase from. I understand that policy but not the price difference because the representative said they get a better price. When the vehicle was picked up by my father in law because my wife was at work she was charged a total $328.49 for the change if front break pads. The break down of the invoice was $49.99 for the pads (ten dollars more than the ones I purchased the day before from same location). $275 for the service and $3.50 for the tax. She was never quoted for the service and only asked to have breaks changed when vehicle dropped off. After calling the following day she was told she was quoted over the "phone" for the $275 charge after waiting 3 hours to receive a response for cost inquiry. The representative that responded to inquiry said they would not "just change the pads" but the representative early said yes they do "just change pads." There is no way in the world anyone would pay $275 in labor to change front break pads!!! At 15 minutes per wheel like "quoted for time" but not cost in the store dropping off the vehicle with 2 wheels, she was charged a $550 dollars an hour rate for labor on break pads!!! They completely took advantage of her because she was a women dropping her car off by herself. What a terrible company to do such a thing. The bill has been paid but this is absolutely ludicrous of a company to take advantage of women who walks into a auto service center. Please be aware of this company!!!! I will handle this issue legally on principle to prevent this company from taking advantage of other women in the future. Perhaps the most insulting thing is the response 3 hours later essentially calling my wife a liar stating she received a quote for the cost the day before prior to dropping off the car. Nice clean waiting area but management really needs to get their act together. In my opinion, managing classes is strongly recommended. It's tough running a business. The management team has to always be respectful of their employees.. especially the good working, loyal ones because without them there wouldn't be a need for a manager. This is the best car wash in town. We have been to several others, but this is by far the best wash. Our cars always get clean. They have three levels, $18, $14, and $9. We always get the $14 Shine wash and are very happy with it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

I looked at bill they used expensive synthetic oil and added an oil additive. Not sure who gave them that ok not my daughter. The woman who was "in charge" was rude after informed her that our rear wiper had been ripped off during our wash. The attendant forgot to bag the wiper, and the wiper was torn from the vehicle. She tried to convince us it was already broken, when it was not. She was yelling at other workers in front of customers, and was very rude to us. On top of that, the expensive wash was terrible. I do not understand how some places can change my oil in 10 minutes but this place takes up to an hour plus every visit. The last visit there was only one person in front of me and not that busy. It's my own fault! Instead of going to my regular place, I stopped in Lucas Oil because it is close to my house. I have never paid more that $30-40 for an oil change unless filters or something needed to be replaced. When I went to pay it was nearly double that...oh, the profanity I dropped on that place. Sent my 17 year old daughter with Daddy's credit card. Technician said she badly needed new brakes and quoted her $600. I told her NO and decided to take it for a second opinion. Girl at the counter really needs to work on her customer service skills! Otherwise fast service and happy to see that they come find you to discuss your vehicle's condition. Didn't like the bill though. Way to high for a simple oil change. I use full synthetic but even Chevrolet doesn't charge me over $90. For that they should've washed my car for free. read more

Last fall I had my oil changed and an over all check up on my Hyundai Santa Fe before driving down to Florida for a vacation. They did an excellent job. Everyone was friendly and informative. The lounge was relaxing and clean. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend. read more

I really liked Lucas until I took my car in a few months ago and they BROKE my door handle off. They didn't say anything, instead they put the pieces back so when I tried to leave my car to the next destination, I ended up with bits in my hand. Started off bad due to the cashier wouldn't honor my $5 coupon that was texted to me via Lucas Oil web site for new customers to try them out. She explained that I would have to print this offer out to use, luckily my Brother lives across the street from the place, so he printed the coupon and brought over for me. It didn't say anywhere that you have to print this out. I was using the mobile app, most places would honor the coupon via texts. No big deal though. My main concern was that I was overcharged on this particular service and I tried to get the cashier to correct the amount and I ended up having to call management the next morning; however, they haven't responded to my calls as of yet. I had the Premium Oil Change special with the Oil Additive added to it. They should've charged me $42.78 Total for the 5 quarts of oil and the oil additive taking the place of one quart of oil. My Jeep takes 6 quarts of oil total. They tried to charge me for 6 quarts of oil plus the additive, but only should've had to use 5 quarts plus the additive. The special includes 5 quarts of oil., yet they tried to charge me an extra $10.69 for extra oil plus taxes. As of this review, I still haven't heard back from the management, so I ended up disputing the purchase amount through my bank for the $10.69 credit. In closing, they have great service, clean place, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don't know if I would recommend due to my overall experience. read more

I got to Lucas this morning 1/2 hour before they opened to beat the rush. There was only one vehicle ahead of me so I figured I was in good shape. By the time they opened there were 5 vehicles in line. When the doors opened at exactly 8:00 am, everyone piled in together and went to the service counter. Based on the fact I parked immediately in front of one of the three bays, I figured I would appropriately be taken care of in the order I arrived. After placing my order for an oil change, I noticed they had moved my vehicle to the end of the line in one of the other two bays. I asked the lady behind the counter why people's vehicles who arrived after me were already in the shop and she replied that it depended on how many bays were being opened. Apparently my crystal ball was not working when I parked approximately 40 minutes earlier. I explained I arrived early to avoid a wait but she was unconcerned. Taking the only recourse I had available to me, I asked for my keys and told her I would get my work done elsewhere. Interestingly, I got the same work done at a competitor (Express Lube), for approximately 30 dollars less than what I would normally spend at Lucas. Until today, I have used Lucas and always been pretty happy. This will no longer be the case. My money will be spent elsewhere. read more

Over an hour waiting, I still see my car on the lot. I approach the counter to inquire...they are going to start on it in 5 mins. I said I cant wait. So they pull it around, with the hood unlatched. I got an oil change for my Honda Fit there and it was more expensive than going to a honda dealer, which i did not think was possible. but when i took it to get an oil change at the dealer for the next one (needed some additional scheduled maintenance, i discovered that they had taken off the lower splash shield (you have to in order to change the oil) and never replaced it! read more

Having an oil change is never a fabulous experience to be looked forward to, but it is necessary. I've been to some places that really tried my patience; taking longer than expected and sometimes costing nearly twice what I expected. I went to Lucas Oil this week and was pleasantly surprised. I went in prepared for a wait with my book, and considering the high volume of business at the time, about 4 cars in each line behind a vehicle being serviced, the waiting time was reasonable; about 1 1/2 hours total. Plenty of places to sit (chairs with tables, cafe stools with tables, and a comfy couch and chair), free Wi-Fi, coffee and snacks available for a price comparable to other coffee shops, and cameras showing the ongoing progress in the garage on screens in the waiting room made the wait pretty painless. The checkpoints on my vehicle were reviewed with me after they were complete. I wasn't pressed to buy other options or services, and the job was finished less than ten minutes later. The price was just as advertised and was less than I have paid nearly everywhere else. Definitely will return here. read more
