We've loved Lucatelli's since we moved to Doylestown in May 2025. Their pizza is outstanding and consistent. I'm writing this review to share my experience with customer service last night. I had ordered a pie to be delivered and it arrived not exactly the way I ordered it. I called the restaurant to voice my complaint and I spoke to the store manager, Joe. Not only did Joe offer to make me another pizza, he told me that he'd deliver it to my house personally, which he did within 30 minutes. I read reviews about poor service frequently, I wanted to take the time to let people know, excellent customer service still does exist. Lucatelli's is in the upper tier of Pizza spots. The interior is bright, modern and has touch screens along the left side wall where you can place orders. Their menu is displayed on large monitors which makes ordering a breeze. My father, brother and son have been on a Pizza tour all over the Tri-State area and Lucatelli's was our choice on a Sunday in November. We decided on a traditional pizza and a square grandma. I would describe their standard pizza as a cross between Trenton style tomato pie and traditional pizza you can find all over the Philly Area and burbs. The thin crispy base had the Tomato Pie influence but the abundance of cheese that would slide off is more traditional for eastern PA. The grandma was a square and was thinner they most I've had, crispy and overall was pretty good. I wouldn't put the Grandma in the upper tier but I wouldn't tell anyone not to try it. They also get a +1 for having a very clean and nicely decorated bathroom. read more

Came here for dinner after seeing it on TikTok a few times. We don't live around here but happened to be in the area so we wanted to try it. This is a nice pizza shop and very clean. You order at the counter. All of the food was AMAZING. Standouts were the cheesesteaks and the meatball sliders. Both were perfect. I loved the cheesesteak and the seeded roll it came on. Defintley the style of cheesesteak I prefer. We also enjoyed the pizza. I would like to come back again and try some of the more different pizza flavors. I just had the roast pork sandwich and wow. I have heard great things and there was a lot of hype . The roast pork lived up to the expectations and even surpassed them. Fabulous seeded roll , white pork and tasty broccoli rabe. The provolone wasn't too sharp , which I liked. I had pick up and there weren't any issues and it was delicious. I'd love to give this a 3 1/2 stars. It's not bad by any means I think it's just overly hype and therefore it attracts so many people which honestly makes it a pain getting in here. Too many people idling at the curb in their vehicles (even though there's literally a row of spots for 15 min parking) And way too many deliver drivers just hanging out inside. Teen girls working the counter - one nice one not at all. I didn't eat in got take out, it was ready super quick which was nice but also, how did you cook it that fast? Got the drunken grandmom - I don't think the vodka sauce necessarily goes with that style of crust - the crust was ehh. Now the mvp cutlet sandwich was great ! Would have loved a bit more chicken though - they opened up the sandwich and it made it look less full. Overall great taste - vodka sauce had great flavor the regular tomato also good. Whoever they get their rolls from - amazing. I think just with how popular they are it's getting a little crowded. I kind of wish I would have tried it before it blew up! But overall good food. Lucatelli's is a strip mall pizza shop with a huge Tic Tok fan base. Only so many videos before we had to check it out for ourselves. A stunning glass case of pies each vying for your attention. Each one more enticing than the next. We went in for a pie and had to get slices because we couldn't decide on just one. The friendly staff was more than accommodating explained each one of the masterpieces on display that day. The Sicilian meat lovers is one of the best Sicilians I have had. Not too thick with the most perfectly crispy bottom, perfect tug and just the right medley of toppings. The pepperoni Margherita had the right combo of crisp and flop to it. We also decided to share one of their creative sandwiches and chose the vodka parm. This didn't overwhelm us as much as the pizzas. It was tasty but nothing we couldn't get anywhere else. The pies here are the true star of the show. Not your traditional decor here - it's slightly elevated, super clean, bright and decorated in bright blue and white with a Vespa theme, Two tiered dining area, plenty of seating. Order at the counter or kiosk and they will Let you know when it's ready to devour. Located in the Mercer Square shopping center in Doylestown we don't regret making the drive to check it out and highly recommend you do the same. read more

Nice spot to grab a quick bite!!! If you're looking for pizza but don't want to commit to a whole pie, you can order a slice or multiple at the front of Lucatelli's Pizzeria. I tried the hot honey slide and the grandma burrata pepperoni. Both had similar taste profiles but it really came down if you wanted a thin slice or thicker crust and bottom. Both slices were pretty good and filling for a quick lunch. Caesar salad was nice and fresh. I liked that the dressing came on the side so that I could adjust how much dressing I wanted on my salad. Service was great too. As this is my first time here, I was given explanations on what slices they offered and what was popular. There is plenty of seating inside if you're looking to eat inside as well. Overall, would recommend! read more

With family in town for the holiday, we decided to do a fun pizza tasting of six different pizzas and rate each one based on appearance, crust, sauce, and cheese to see which was the favorite. I was excited to order from Lucatellis because I had heard great things, and everything looked delicious. I ordered the Rip and Dip as an appetizer, a plain pie, and the honey hot pepperoni. When I ordered online, it said the food would be ready in 40 minutes, but it was ready in just 15. I was able to run in and out, which was convenient. The recently renovated restaurant looked beautiful, and they were quite busy. When I selected the pizzas for our tasting (the two from Lucatellis, a local tomato pie, one from a chain, one from a convenience store, and one frozen), I thought for sure their pizza would be ranked as the best. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I regret not taking a photo until after we had cut the pizza, but you can still see it was overcooked. The center of the crust was mushy, and the cheese was rubbery and didn't melt well. Even my teenage nephews only took a few bites to complete their rankings and had no interest in eating the rest. Surprisingly, the frozen pizza won by a landslide. It's possible this was a one-off, but I'm unlikely to return. read more

I ordered a simple take out pizza with olives and mushrooms. It wasn't quite ready when I arrived for pick up but they had it out in about 5 minutes. Unfortunately I did not open the box and inspect it before I left. When I got home, I found an overcooked, bone dry pizzas that was burned and tasted like burnt toast. Great pizza! We have ordered delivery via UberEats twice now since moving to Buckingham and Lucatelli's does not disappoint. The first time we ordered Drunken Grandma which was more of a Detroit-style pizza with square foccacia crust. The sauce was delicious. The second time we went with the White Truffle Mushroom and it was great. My only negative is that I wish they offered different pizza sizes as the only size available is large and they are very expensive, so we aren't able to order more than one kind at a time. But we will definitely continue to try different items on the menu! read more

Beautiful place nice staff. Nicely decorate it and the people behind the counter are fantastic. Let's get to the food. We tried a bunch of different slices not one bad thing to say the ingredients are top-notch and I cannot wait to go back again. My 2 Hour Dr. to the location was worth it. Their regular cheese pizza is fantastic and their variety of slices are also incredible. But cannot pass up the chicken cutlet Parmesan hoagie with the hot honey. I asked her hot honey on the side for the sub. Must have. A lady next to me was eating a chicken cheesesteak and a regular Philly steak and they said it was out of this world. It looks so good. The staff on several occasions were not welcoming and present as they are doing you a favor. The steak sandwiches are good, but not worth dealing with strange and untrained staff. The owner presents the same so it makes sense. We had a pizza delivered and it came with honey on it. We wanted a plain pizza. When I called to tell them he said with a rude tone if I come in next time he will give me a pizza, and hung up on me. He did not get my name or any info so he would not know me from someone else. I tried it there again but never mentioned the pizza,as the staff appears bothered even when they are not busy. Just looking for a good pizza. The pizza was not good. The sauce was not a good taste. After watching a tik tok my kids and I took the 2hr trip from Harrisburg to give this a try. All in all we were satisfied but the food was not prepared as seen in the tik tok video. The cheesesteak the cheese was not cooked in to be creamy but clumps of undercooked cheese. This was the biggest disappointment. Not on the same level as Angelo's. The drunken chicken cheesesteak was good but the vodka sauce was way too watery and also missed the creamy sweet spot. Wife saw this place in an Insta review so we took the 55 minute ride out. Got 2 cheesesteaks for there and a margherita pizza to go. The cheesesteak was amazing!! My personal test is if it needs ketchup. I eat 90% of cheesteaks with ketchup cuz some more flavor is needed. NOT the case here. The super tasty chopped steak, the right amount of cooper sharp (some places overdo it), on a perfectly tasty roll. Almost total perfection. A solid 9.2. Get that cheese more evenly distributed around the beef and it would be 10 stars. The pizza was great both cold and reheated in toaster oven. Crispy but not chewy crust. Thin crust was awesome. The pointy end of the pieces in the middle were a little limp, but it was just the first bite. It was worth the 1:45 round trip. read more

Good cheesesteak. They got the formula down for a great modern sandwich. Ribeye, Cooper Sharp cheese, fried onions, seeded roll. My only gripe was that the meat could have been seasoned better and the cheese could have been mixed in better. Other than that, its nearly there to be one of the greats. I found out about this place through social media and happen to be in the area so had to give it a shot. The interior design is modern and clean. The foot traffic was heavy so that was a great sign. The menu has a wide variety and I wanted to try them all. I ended up getting a few items to try. A slice of honey hot, grandma MVP, and boardwalk. Also got a arancini and meatball sliders. I was not disappointed in any of these selections. Great crust and ingredients all meshed well. The garlic knots used for the sliders were soft and buttery. I saw a lot of other items I wanted to try so guess I'll be going back. The staff seemed friendly and I believe the owner hand delivered some of the order, which is always nice to see. read more

Mystery girl wanted pizza for dinner and we have been meaning to stop in as this has been recommended to us time and time again. We are from NY & just love/crave really good pizza lol. Tonight was the night. It looked pretty busy as we pulled up but it also seemed as if everyone was leaving. Sure enough they were. It isn't a huge pizza place, but it is really nice. The inside was very well decorated, felt more like a house than a pizzeria. They were very busy, but they kept up the flow well. Our pizza came out in good time. We didn't wait very long at all. The pizza was perfect. So good. It was perfectly well done without being burnt. Exactly how pizza is supposed to be. The pepperoni was crispy. The sauce was delicious as well. The steak was good and the roll was awesome. Me and my nephew both got cheesesteaks with extra cheese. So they put cheese on the bottom of the steak down by the crook of the roll. Also definitely wasn't extra ‍ So we both had to eat most of our sandwiches with no cheese on them. I'm 58 and originally from Philly. I've been eating cheesesteaks my whole life. 09.28.24 Came for the Phillies Red Hot-tober sandwich which we seen advertised a few days prior watching the Philadelphia Phillies on television by Taryn Hatcher. About a hour and a half drive from Lititz, Pa. But it was so worth it! Fast service, good service. Extensive menu of all types of meals, sandwiches, pizza and appetizers. Prices were decent. Nicely decorated inside but not over the top like a lot of Italian eateries. Theres a scooter on display as well as a logo of the scooter. I'm sure there's a story behind it I can feel it in my bones. I'll have to research that at some point. But yes, The Red Hot-Tober was incredible from the chicken to the salami to the sauce and the seeded roll made it a home run. I also got a cheesesteak (because I love them and my will power is weak) with fried onions and it was delicious. A generous amount of meat. We also got an order of French fries which was more than enough for the both of us. We enjoyed everything! A great place and if we're in Doylestown again we will definitely come here. Pizza is good but not great. Sauce tastes good with plenty of cheese and the crust is done well and completely. Orders are always done on time. Cheesesteaks are also very good and loaded with meat. We came for the Red Hotober and the boardwalk slice. Both were worth the drive! The vodka sauce really makes the sandwich plus the great seeded roll.
