I sat at a high top table by the bar, but there's also seating at the bar and seating in a small dining area. The service was great. And I really enjoyed my burger (cooked medium rare, it was juicy and delicious) and my beer (a Smithwick's on tap). My only teeny tiny complaint is that the mushrooms and grilled onions on my burgers were cold, and I wish they'd been warmed up on the grill before going onto the burger - it might have been perfect then! Overall, a great tavern lunch. I'd happily go back for another burger and beer! Or fish and chips! Or anything else!

I had ordered a pie to be delivered and it arrived not exactly the way I ordered it. I called the restaurant to voice my complaint and I spoke to the store manager, Joe. Not only did Joe offer to make me another pizza, he told me that he'd deliver it to my house personally, which he did within 30 minutes. I read reviews about poor service frequently, I wanted to take the time to let people know, excellent customer service still does exist. Thanks Joe, I hope your bosses know how big of an asset you are.

The thin crispy base had the Tomato Pie influence but the abundance of cheese that would slide off is more traditional for eastern PA.
