I tested positive for Covid on Thursday and emailed Monica immediately to request a refund. Not only did she say no, she said that even if I was better, that we cannot attend. She said I have to show no symptoms for 5 days which aren't the actual CDC guidelines. To not even be seated separately at an outdoor event when the CDC released information that 24 hours of no symptoms means I'm good to go is simply rude. My case is mild and by the time the event happens it will have been 3 full days which exceeds the guidelines. We won't be back or recommending this farm. Treat people with empathy especially when they are honest with you. With the rise in Covid cases, I can promise at least one attendee at the dinner has Covid anyway and omitted it. Good luck.

My husband and I have been to Hackettstown Trading Post numerous times looking for couches and new appliances. First of all, everything is WAY overpriced. When they have sale or clearance items they mark up the original price to outrageous amounts so that the "sale" price ends up being the original price. Example: a couch marked as 70% off showed an original price of $5,000 with a "sale" price of $1,500. This was for a basic plain love-seat. Now, unless the upholstery is hand stitched by Swedish virgins, there is no way a simple love-seat should start at $5,000. It's a scam. The staff is generally not helpful. While browsing the store, we saw around 10 staff members, only 2 of which acknowledged us, only one offering any assistance. The store currently has large signs in the windows and throughout the store indicating that they are going out of business and everything must go. Signs say that all items are 30% - 70% off, but, as stated previously, that seams to be a ploy to get people to stop in. Unless a 8" tall plain white lamp is really worth $180, then the sale price of $60.00 really is a sale. Overall response- Stay away. Save your money for someplace that won't try to gouge you with fake sales.

Ricky was knowledgeable and guided us towards the mattresses that would be a good fit for us. He explained each mattress, the benefits of owning that particular mattress and was 100% honest if he didn't think it would be a good fit. When we decided on the right mattress, we were going to tie it to the roof of our car. When Ricky saw that we were in a predicament (we did not have ratchet straps or rope) he offered to drop the mattress off at our house after the store closed at 8pm. To his word at 8:01 he called us and told us he was on his way and at 8:09 we have the mattress in our house. It's going on 8 months of them maybe coming back to fix it Doors are crooked and they don't line up. Garage door is dented. They spot painted it when the did come back and left and it looks like trash. They wanted to just floor paint over the mold in the shed and said that will fix it. I got to the point That I asked for the paint and floor paint and it took them a bit to get back to me but when They finally did they said they will give me the paint( so I can paint it over the summer) but still have not given it to me. I'm sure many people have had a positive experience but mine is straight trash. I asked for the owner to call me several times and they simply had someone lower call me and say they told him them deal with it because they didn't want to deal with it. Actually no, the worst I've EVER seen or been put through. To tell a customer to "suck it up, it was your mistake" was about as disrespectful and discourteous as one could be. He had other choice words to say but I'll leave those out of this review. If there was an error in an order is that the way to do business or to respond to a customer? Sad, just sad. Mike, you should be embarrassed to have a manager running your facility like that. Embarrassed. I could only imagine the work ethic Jim has in all aspects of his responsibilities there at Amish Mike's when he told me, "I could give 2 shits about this business, it's not mine."
