I have been a loyal customer of this store for the past 5 years and have never had any issues until now. However, last Friday, Aug 14, 2026, at around 6:47 PM, I was refused service for no reason at all by a female employee who claimed to be a manager. I asked her to show me some fresh products, and she brought out three items. Since none of them had expiration dates marked on them, I asked if she could show me others. She visibly showed her frustration and practically threw two items onto the counter. I pointed out the date on one of the products to show her what kind of freshness I was looking for. Right after I said that, she pulled all the items away and told me she was refusing to serve me. When I asked why, she completely ignored me. I was deeply upset and felt utterly humiliated, but I had to leave because there were other customers watching. The following day, I returned to the store and handed a letter to Russell, the manager, explaining what happened the previous evening and requesting an explanation for the refusal of service. After a few days with no response, I reached out to Russell again, only to be told that no further information could be provided due to "security reasons." I understand that private businesses do not have a general legal obligation to explicitly state their reasons for refusing service on the spot, and I am also aware of my rights as a customer. However, there must be a legitimate, valid reason to refuse service to a customer. Looking through your store's reviews because of this incident, I noticed that another customer recently mentioned a female employee threatening them with a refusal of service as well. The principle of "the right to refuse service" was created to protect businesses and their staff from unreasonable or abusive situations--not to be weaponized at an employee's personal whim. If this employee is turning customers away for no reason, and the owner simply stands by and lets it happen, this business will inevitably face the consequences. Attitude is a skill. This is for the owners of lucid puyallup: I've been to your store a number of times over the last six months since moving just around the corner. Every time I go there, I am greeted with glares, only to be harassed at check-in and not helped with sincerity when I'm inside purchasing. I've had a problem every single time I got there, and it's a direct result of YOUR EMPLOYEES. When I was at your store just five minutes ago like I had been so many times before I was greeted by a very hateful woman, and then a few seconds later a guy walked up. She glared at me as I walked in because I brought a bag with me. My bag contained my birth certificate, front and back copy picture of my Stolen drivers license, AS WELL AS My new ID issued from Department of licensing. The bar scan was intact. The paper was perfectly crisp and clean. When I provided all of these documents, the dude even said "yeah I've seen you in here so many times before." Yet he still Hummed and hawwwwd and said he wasn't sure. And that he wasn't sure what the law was. Neither did the woman. Not one of the two employees in front of me knew Washington state law, but I do. They just looked at me, so I asked if they could call the owner. About three seconds later as I'm waiting for him to call the owner, the woman who I look back at is still glaring at me and says without being prompted " We can just refuse service to anybody too." I was a little taken back at first because I've spent my hard earned money at your store- thousands of dollars, and all I'm trying to do is purchase product from you! I watched the guy walk back and tell me that he's calling the owner, but I don't see a phone and I don't see him doing anything. It's then at that moment the woman asks me to step aside so they can help their other customers. They just completely Pushed me to the side, they were not calling the owner, and really just made me feel unwelcome. If you actually respond to my email I will come back and show you everything I brought with me because I've been to zips and two other dispensaries and never had an issue at any of them. It's only your dispensary that I ever have issues at and it's the most ungodly expensive out of all of them. It's really unfortunate that your employees lost you thousands of dollars in business. But the real moral of the story is to treat people with kindness because you never know what they're going through. Your employee recognized me, knows that I'm over 21, and even has a barcode to scan so you are legally compliant. But they refused to do so not even knowing what the state law is. They didn't contact the owner, they treated me like I was nothing, threatened me, and didn't even try to be kind at all. You never know what somebody's going through. I truly hope that you speak with them, Educate them, And teach them some manners. Who knows how many other customers those two have lost you. read more

BAMMER SHOP! New to the area and decided to stop in. I walked in and immediately noticed the lack of selection. Over half of this store is empty. No recognizable brands at all for this region, only things I recognized was Walden. If it wasn't for the first time in discount, I probably wouldn't have bought anything. In my opinion it was overpriced especially for the quality of service Unfortunately, I won't be back. I'd rather drive 15 more minutes up the hill to the other dispos to get better service, what I'm looking for, and at a better price. read more

I would literally invest money to someone buying this store and flipping it to a proper shop. Manager can't seem to run this place, and word is they dont pay their vendors, and that's why they don't have anything awesome on the shelves and they're expensive for nothing. Just the rock-bottom price wholesale prices jumped up 5x or something for the customer. The brands they sell would be cheaper anywhere else in the state. This store is nearly empty, and has weird vibes; nothing like the other locations at all. Please sell this store, or get a proper management company in here so someone can come in and serve the valley proper? this store should be at $400-500k monthly. I've been all over the country helping cannabis companies restructure, or improve processes; this store is less than a mile away, and I never go there....once another store comes, they're toast. The stores point system sucks donkey balls. I don't like the fact I had to repeat myself numerous time about the strains quantity and quality needed to their bud tender. . This was the 2nd time in less than a 7 day period and the still say I'm not in their point system. Overall the selection was all low grade and current selection was overpriced and mislabeled. This store is great. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are not pushy at all. It's a fun store and environment and even the other customers have been super cool when I've been in. And I've been in all hours of the day. The selection is goood but depends on when you go. Try to make it right after they stock because the good stuff goes fast! The store is clean and well lit. The parking is ample and they take cars (for a fee) and have a loyalty program! Go check them out, they are insanely friendly. read more

I have been going to Lucid since they opened. It has steadily gone downhill from the lack of product flow to some really rude staff especially the gnarly rude old guy. When I have asked when they will be getting more product, I either get a shoulder shrug or statements about not being able to say when the shipments come in. I go over to The Gallery in Puyallup and they have walls of everything. I asked the tender there if their edible supply is normally that full, I was told yes it is and they get shipments Monday through Friday. Just so disappointed with this place, will never go back again. Shame because they had a really cool format to their store. I would not recommend it no matter how close it is. Two nights ago my friend got THROWN OUT of this pathetic shop because he told a guy who was singing loudly and coming right up next to him to back away because he is taking Covid seriously and the guy wasn't wearing a face mask or gloves (neither was anyone in the building besides my friend). Instead of backing up the man called my friend a "Trump Voting Bitch". My friend kept his cool and explained that no, he's not a Trump loving anything, but that he's taking care of his 85 year old mother in his house and to back up the required six feet. When the guy still didn't move (think blockhead) my friend told him if he didn't move he was going to get his hands dirty helping him move. At this point, and not when it was being explained rationally, five guys surround my friend and escort him out! What in the hell? It doesn't matter to me if they want to believe Covid-19 is a hoax or they are all too stupid to wear a face mask during a pandemic, what matters to me is that the law is on the side of my friend who was the only one doing what he was supposed to be doing. Maybe the state should reconsider leaving Lucid open since they aren't following the guidelines that are clearly spelled out? Don't fret, I'm letting the state know for them. This used to be my spot. Bought a faulty cartridge that leaked everywhere and ruined my device. Went back 2 days after the purchase to get a refund or replacement and they said "too much had been smoked" and there was "nothing they could do." I'm like, blinking in disbelief. I show him the pool of wasted oil in the bottom of my trashed smoker. Almost none of it has been smoked. It flooded my device! Yeah, sorry, there's nothing they can do. I use cannabis medicinally and have spent a LOT of money at this place, but they won't see another cent from me. I come to this place almost everyday- [it is right down the street from my house] I am seriously second guessing coming here ever again. This place has been going downhill service-wise for at least a year now. Today was ridiculous. The people working behind the counters need better training. Understanding customer volume is CRUCIAL to providing good customer service. In the PUYALLUP location, there are many things wrong. Poor displays of flowers- Order cards all over the place- Zero professionalism- Terrible music playing- a HUGE empty showroom yet only 3 registers tops if you get lucky, which leads to my prime complaint- THE WAIT TIMES.. OMFG. There are almost always 6-7 employess in the shop and during peak times the best they can do is have 1 person try to take your ID and your order card.. I guess so you dont just up and leave the store from horrendously slow service. This is not acceptable. Also, please start letting someone who actually uses flower assist with the product selection. I shouldnt HAVE to pay $65 to get a potent eighth AND stand in line for 25 minutes. Step your game up or word is going to travel fast that this is no longer the "go-to" spot in this town. Their shelves are often empty with very limited product available, and the product that is available would be stuff you would find on the discount shelf in any other dispensary. The weed they sell is some of the worst flower you'll find and the customer service leaves much to be desired, as others have already mentioned. I was in the parking lot for 24 minutes talking to a customer on my phone and the security guard came and knocked on my car window because he thought I was filming people entering.
