I had a terrible experience at this dispensary. The staff was friendly, but the worst part was the budtender's recommendation. I went in hoping to find something high-quality, and when I asked for advice, the budtender insisted on a strain that turned out to be awful. It had terrible effects, didn't taste good, and gave me a headache almost immediately. I trusted the recommendation, and now I regret it. Since I can't return the product. They do not know service dog law and treated two veterans disrespectfully. I request that all veterans (and those with service dogs) avoid this business until they change their policy and procedure regarding service animals. I will cease pursuing legal action the moment I receive a written apology, and assurance that their policies are in line with the law. They will not allow a service dog in without a leash, and did not follow proper service dog procedure. I was not ever asked if Ozzy was a service dog, let alone what services he provided. I was only told that "it was store rules" that Ozzy had to be on a leash. I tried to explain that isn't mandated because Ozzy is a bona fide service animal, but I was met with deaf ears and a snarky attitude combined with a subtle blend of power tripping and asked to leave. Thank you for your service? Not even a letter from my lawyer could sway them from avoiding this issue in heading to civil court. As I am not interested in making any personal profit from this, I will turn any award over the Parkland Animal Hospital. I take this action for my veteran family and all those whose lives are made livable by their service dogs. Thank you for your attention to this matter. read more

4 stars because this shop is super easy, they have online options and yea the prices may be a bit steeper but your paying for the convivence tbh. See lots of people complain about prices. If you pay with cash you can avoid those fees at the register. The staff is chill. This isn't a Gucci store where the staff is supposed to bend over backwards trying to please you. I purchased this last week for my arthritis and was hoping it would help with the aches and pains, but no. This product was made 12/14/2018 and expired 12/12/2019 and it offered a very timid balm at best. I have had other issues with The Gallery such as purchasing online and think I received the product I ordered but when I get home I see it is a similar looking product but not the one I ordered. I've only been to 2 dispensaries, Zips and this place but this place had really good customer service. I brought edibles here both times I went here and the people here gave me really good recommendations. The first time I had a 5-pack mint chocolate one and the second time I had the Honu 10-pack ones and they were more like candy then chocolate but they were also really good. They are one of the few stores that keep brands in stock for long periods of time so when you find one that is to your liking you can almost always bet they have it in stock. The reason for the 3* is in my opinion they have a poor selection for " top shelf " customers but that's probably because of where they are located. The other reason is that I feel like the bud tenders only recommend bottom shelf deals and when you ask for any 8th that doesn't smell like hay they seem to struggle with recommending stuff ... but not always.. they do surprise now and then and deliver with some very impressive flower. read more

I have advanced COPD and have trouble breathing with a mask on and wear a small shield that covers my mouth and tapes across my nose. I tried to accommodate them by wearing it and went in to purchase. I got to the ID check and he said I needed a mask to which I said I can not that is why the shield. I was polite to start but he got up and approached a bit aggressive and made me have to back up or he would have been right in my face. He apparently does not know NOT to approach Viet Nam vets like he did. I have been discriminated against by the "Spanaway" store many times and would encourage everyone to find a small "LOCAL" shop and go there instead..... The Gallery is not worth being discriminated against like I was a third world immigrant. Anyways, the products and quality great and all and would've gotten 5 stars BUT I came by around 9:30-9:45pm and mind you, it's open til 11:30, but the guy "helping" did nothing but make me feel rushed and as if I was interrupting him in his final moments of waiting to get off work. I am a regular here at the gallery, make a visit about every week sometimes more. No matter what day or time I come in, I am always greeted by enthusiastic people who are excited to help. The inventory is extremely easy to browse, with their binders perpetually updated and available at the counters. They only accept cash for various reasons, but their on site ATM makes it very easy to comply. Accepting cash only also seems to speed up the check out process. The lines can be sort of long sometimes, but business moves quickly, and the other customers are typically chill enough to bare the wait just fine. There has never been a negative experience for me at the Gallery, I honestly don't think I have ever left without a smile on my face. read more

When I tried to get my money back I was told it was illegal to give refunds (What?). Keep in mind I never even moved my feet, let alone left the building. I am extremely disappointed in the gallery. I bought a juju joint. I was told to keep my receipt in case it didn't work. I got home and it didn't work. I took it back and was told the whole last shipment of them were having issues. I asked if i could exchange it for something else. She said no i can only exchange for the same product. I live in Seattle but was visiting family in Tacoma. I Got home and it didn't work. Now i am out 50.00 plus the 10.00 tip. I will never return.
