Coming here was quite the experience, but not for the good. The owner of this place is the furthest thing from compassionate and has no empathy for the sick clients who come to her place of business. I came with a friend and witnessed it for my self: my friend was quoted one price by her and when she returned to pick it up she jacked up the price a couple hundred dollars. And fought with us about it; unprofessional to say the least. I wouldn't recommend seeing Lucinda. Although they have beautiful products avoid her! I will say Her staff was very nice , completely opposite of who she is. And for this experience she receives one star. read more

If there was an option for zero stars I would put it!!! Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. My poor friend went in to talk about wig options before she starts chemo and the woman basically threw wigs at us, didn't explain or educate anything about them. Got mad at us for asking for a color ring to see options. We were talking about other wig places as well because we wanted to know our options because it's a big investment and the woman snapped at my friend said she wasn't serious and was wasting her time. I was floored that she would snap at a woman who is already in a vulnerable state with knowing she will be starting chemo. Do NOT GO HERE! read more

Prices are a bit high, especially for the area. However, the stylists are nice and friendly. They have experience and always do a good job. They also work around your schedule and, in my case, came in earlier to accommodate my work start time. read more

I have been going to Lucinda's for nearly two years and it has been a true life saver. After experiencing an unexpected hair loss, Lucinda's was recommended to me. Their guidance from the early devastating days to the current maintenance days has been exceptional. I truly believe they saved my hair through their expertise and treatments. My hair stabilized and eventually improved to what I consider to be healthier now than before my loss. Tracey does the majority of my hair care and she is nothing short of perfect. The other staff is also tremendously supportive, knowledgeable, and caring. Every time I am in their salon, it is evident about their tremendous abilities. Very expensive mistake. My naturally curly hair was thinning greatly on the sides so after reading up on solutions I decided on tape in extensions. Lucinda agreed and having 30 years in the business I presumed she was the expert I needed. On her suggestion I went with Cyber hair- artificial but looking very much like real hair. The one downside was that she would have to curl it as it ( and all others) do not come curly. The curl lasted less than a week. Tried again with the same results. She then reordered me real hair extensions that appeared to be curly enough. After 2 weeks I'm rolling them up each night and securing them with bobbypins so they stay curly. In the morning they do not curl down or around my finger as normal curly hair does. They stick out more than down and it takes me a while to get the pieces to blend in with my hair. They don't act anything like my real hair. I'll be having them taken out next week and I'm done. By the way, the above is round two. Round one last year resulted in them losing the first extensions I paid for and then expecting me to pay for new ones. It was a total waste of my time and LOTS of money. Most disappointing experience of my life. Extensions were a huge rip-off money wise but would have been worth it if they worked. They did not so I'm out $700 with nothing to show for it. Beware- extensions only work if you have straight hair. I'm extremely disappointed with Lucinda as does not take responsibility for anything in this fiasco. Not her fault that the first extensions were lost , not her fault that the curl did not hold, I must be "doing something to them" etc. Not the professional businesswoman I expected. read more

BEWARE!! Very disappointed in my experience at this salon. The hair piece that I paid $900.00 was not worth the money. the hair piece is Poor quality and very thin on top where my problem area is. Shortly after my purchase I brought it back to have Lucinda look at it. Lucinda was not helpful and actually made a spectacle out of me in front of her staff. Lucinda insisted that the piece was fine and did nothing to help me. She is the biggest scam artist and takes advantage of women in this very vulnerable position. What a pleasure it is to have found Lucinda! She is a perky, personable, petite ball of energy! She truly cares about people and hair loss is her passion and it shows! I have been to her salon about three times now. I went to the salon seeking a new wig, I have alopecia and unfortunately, I am not new to this. I was really hesitant at first, but Lucinda suggested I try a different style wig that she felt would compliment me and my small frame. I have to say, she was so right! I love the wig, have gotten so many compliments, the wig is much lighter then what I have had and is good quality. As far as the price, it's standard. My mom ordered her integration kit in April it was supposed to be there in July. We are now in October and nothing has arrived. I am deeply disappointed. I called and left a message. Debbie called back and said they'll be contacting the place they ordered from. I called back after a few weeks and left another message. Tiffany called back and left me a message to call them back with my mom's name to locate the product. Debbie called back saying they called the company and are waiting for a call back. And then Lucinda called back herself and said the order was placed, but didn't tell me when they placed it, and then proceeded to say that it takes like 3 months because it's European hair and it takes longer. Ummm, it's October and the order was placed by my mom at the salon in April. That is definitely more than 3 months and she put half the money down, which was $1000. I am very disappointed with the service and about every different message left for me. Seems like nobody knows where and when my mom's order is or isn't. It really looks like my mom's deposit was just taken because of the need of money. This is not how you treat customers with previous orders. read more

Very disappointed in my experience at this salon. After many years of successfully wearing a hair piece, I decided to make the transition to a wig. Had two appointments, one for consultation and one to pick up my wig that was supposedly ordered. Lucinda was late arriving for both of my appointments. The wig I purchased is not the correct size for my head. I did not pick up on this fact until the next day when I wore the wig and went about my daily activities. This was an $1800.00 cyberhair wig that I also paid $100.00 to have cut, in addition to all the products that are supposed to be used with it. I am devastated at this point and embarrassed at what I am wearing on my head. I called the salon to speak with Lucinda but it is 3 days and I have not received a call back as of yet. It has been a very expensive mistake for me and just want to let others know to do your research before using this salon. As far as I am concerned, Lucinda is not a professional and does not give good customer service. read more
