That was amazing. It was on the edge of a peach Orchard and they had beautiful produce. The owner, Mr. Lawson told me he picked these cucumbers the day before. I've got them working on some pickles right now. The tomatoes were so beautiful! My husband and I ate one last night. You can't get tomatoes like this in the grocery store. In the afternoon we bought some yummy housemaid peach ice cream, and sat on the rockers and just enjoyed! The staff there was so friendly; they exuded positivity and southern hospitality! I only wish I lived closer so I could shop there regularly If you're ever going through Valdosta, I highly recommend stopping here !

I lived in the Winter Park, Florida area for 40 years after growing up in Thomasville and I've not found a better farmers market anywhere. Zellwood has it's corn and Plant City-Lakeland area it's strawberries but the is no one place to shop and have the choices we have here in Thomasville. We returned to Thomasville 5 years ago and I'm so happy that there is this wonderful, well stocked marked in which to purchase things that we love. Even living in Central Florida, I have called Mr. Lewis and asked him if he would put aside a hamper of those wonderfull Georgia peanuts and that I woud pick them up the following week when I went to visit family here in Thomasville and he woud always have my peanuts saved in the cold vault just waiting for me to come by and get them.

There's a beautiful field to pick fruit in based on the time of year. We picked fresh and delicious strawberries. The store has a huge variety of clothing including Simply Southern, toys, decor, snacks, drinks, and candy. The fresh fruit slushies are delicious. They have ice cream that you can buy by the container or in a cup or cone. There's a sheltered area with several picnic tables to sit and relax while your kids play on the playground. This is the ideal location for birthday parties.

They have quite a bit of local produce but things not produced in the region or out of season are shipped in from elsewhere, just like any other grocery. The citrus, peppers, squash, and potatoes selection was especially good (in early Decemeber) and they have local cane syrup (from two different producers!), honey, and jams, jellies, and more. Of course, also fresh eggs and Nettles' sausage, as well. Supposedly when it's watermelon season this is THE place to come for your watermelon!

When it comes to nuts, this store is an homage to the pecan and the peanut offering everything from butters, candies, fresh, roasted, syrups, etc. you most definitely can't go wrong with sugar free roasted pecan syrup for your pancakes and if available, a nice size bag of some freshly boiled Cajun peanuts to snack on! They also carry fairly priced Vidalia onions which I always stock up on a few bags every time I visit.
