Horrible service. I called regarding a tow in reference to work completed the requires urgent attention . I called three times with no answer, and their voicemail box was full, which is extremely unprofessional for a business. When my third call finally went through, a man answered yelling, saying: "WHAT DO YOU WANT???!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN CALLING??????" I was shocked and disgusted by the hostile and inappropriate response, especially since I was calling about a job they had already completed and been paid for. There is absolutely no excuse for speaking to anyone this way--especially another business calling in good faith to resolve a work-related matter. This behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect. If this is how they treat paying customers and professional contacts, I would strongly caution others before doing business with them. My experience with Lucky 13 can be described as a mixed bag. On the one hand, the car pick up service was prompt and even surprisingly quick. Once they had the car in their workshop, it was not transparent to me what services they offer exactly. I asked them to detail the car and do a quick check up including oil change etc. Upon picking up the car, none of these services have been carried out. In fact, it looked to me as if my car was just sitting in their yard. Given this mediocre service, the price is too high in my mind. My biggest complaint is how difficult it was to get in contact with Lucky 13. I believe it took me more than 10 calls to get a hold of someone (thus the name...). Old aol-email is also not in use anymore... Pickup and checkout process was quick and efficient (as long as you bring enough cash - no credit card accepted). Would I recommend Lucky 13 to a friend? Probably not! Next time I will go back to my KIA dealership for the yearly inspection. read more

Always call them first and schedule a time to get your car so everything is organized! They had towed my car and I was upset but they were really kind and helped me out , they even opened on the weekend just so I can get my vehicle and didn't charge me extra! These people were called to tow a car that is owned by an elderly woman. The elderly woman went out of town with her daughter. She parked her car at her daughter's complex for a few days and the complex called these greasy people to come tow the car. When she got back into town to pick up her car it was gone. This place towed it and are now trying to get close to a thousand dollars from an old lady to give her car back. He immediately says "well of you can't pay you need to sign the title over to me". So now he wants to steal an old lady's car. We are calling out attorney on Monday to look into this. This is so bad to do to people. I don't know how these people sleep at night. I'm sure it will be worked out in the court system. This is theft and make no mistake about it. They are all slime balls. read more

Absolutely disrespectful. Had my car repossessed, got a release of property from the bank which I made sure to add my mothers name, as I am across the country, so she could pick up my stuff. Was in constant contact with them for two weeks and explained from day 1 that Monday mornings are the best days for my mother to pick up my stuff as she has a full time job. I explained the importance of the stuff as most of it is my 11 month old daughters. Spoke to multiple different people and it seemed neither of them knew what was going on because their communication sucks. Whenever they would tell me a time it somehow seemed to change. My mother wasn't able to make one appointment as stuff came up. In the two weeks I spoke to them they never once told me it was only cash. But they lied and said they did 3 times. Yet everytime we spoke I texted my mother EVERYTHING they said and never once did it include cash only. The lady at the garage where my stuff was let my mother into the garage, she paid them 100 bucks for emptying my car and my mother asked for a receipt. She starts bagging loose stuff up only for a bitchy ass man to come in there with an attitude and say she can't be in the garage and start dragging my stuff outside as she's bagging it. My mom wasn't having it and gave them an attitude back and told them to F off. She calls them out for their scam of 100 dollars cash that they're definitely just pocketing and they proceed to say "how much is this stuff worth, it could have been in the garbage" like no sir you got paid so stfu. I'm on ft with my mother this entire time just BAFFLED at their instant bitchy attitudes. They tried to say they're lucky they're giving my mom this stuff as it's not her property. Like umm no bitch the release of property was issued from the bank who paid for the loan on the car and my mothers name was definitely on it I made sure of that day 1. Started with a phone call lady dude answers, getting information shim Could Not Give me a Direct answer as to How much a Tow Costs from when they decided to tow and break in to my Vehicle.. Now, back to where she says its ahhh $325 today and then $360 Tomorrow, i said "What?" $325?!?! "How much is a Tow?" she says well its $35 a Day i said ok so if you want to say yesterday is one day and today is two.. that's $70 for 2 days and $255 For the tow out. Once i Heard this I continued to question the tow amount and again she like its 2 something yeah. What?! I asked are you open 24/7 NO WE CLOSE AT 2:30pm.. Im like what?! Also states "You need to make an APPT to Pick up the Car" and appt?! what? let me know if you want to make an appt. i had to get off the phone to process my thoughts, what a bunch of scum bags...I calls back to "BOOK said APPt". when calling back Guy answers and proceeds to talk with me not knowing how much this costs, all of a sudden I'm on a three way phone call with the lady as well, and she's informing him of my vehicle again and how much she just spewed out to me for costs..which she didn't remember and i shouldn't have said listen I'll have the cash at this time and said amount out loud like hand to head.. why did I repeat that... I said I am getting money after 1pm I can be there by 2 or sooner, The lady proceeded to tell me she was driving back up to where she towed my car if i wanted to pay her.. like no I don't have the cash yet once again and what do you have my vehicle with you?! like WTF... I'm not giving you cash if you don't have my car.....they tried to say can you come now?! i just said no I can't, .. I can also tow your car back to you for $65- What?! How does that even make sense, either way they say call when you have the money, when i had called I left two messages prior to and they say they close at 4pm during week closed on weekends.. I finally got the money shortly after 1pm of course i googled the company and it said cambridge st, i called the number to which the guy answered i said i was calling in ref to vehicle and said id be there in a few mins about to be on cambridge st, for him to proceed to tell me they are not located there they are located on Greenwood st in worcester 119..... well i put in GPS and guess what the location doesn't exsist I had to call back to double check the address and make sure im going to the proper location so i dont miss the " scheduled APPT" which he got bitchie with me bc he doesn't even know their address.... shocker.. anyways it was 117 and a broken down ass gas station.. i pulled in they say 20 mins... they had also said to me over the phone yeah we're closing maybe you'll have to make an appt to pick it up tomorrow at 9AM.. I said the hell I Am.. I am not paying you another day, this is ridiculous, I can't miss another day of work because of this non sense and game playing with peoples property.. I already made an appt and you guys keep rushing me when I said what time I could be there.. At this broken down gas station waiting the lady drives up and I get out, like where's my car she proceeds to tell me he's on his way with it now... like what?! its being towed here... yeah from another lot.. the guy eventually comes, I noticed my door was unlocked to which I asked and he replied he have to break in. AWFUL PEOPLE, they are scammers to a tee. There's a reason why they have their own business, they're attitudes are so poor and unprofessional I'm sure nobody would hire them and if they did they'd be fired within the week. I'm not sure why any professional company would associate with them. They will do anything to take money from you, including ignoring your calls so your car can stay an extra day and through the weekend. No star review if possible!!! I just had my car towed from where I lived bc I didn't have sticker to show I lived there. I had just bought my vehicle and the sticker slipped my mind. I had no issues before until last night I parked my car in a different spot and this morning I woke up to my car gone. The information for the tow company was vague their address is wrong and they're still handing out cards that say 32 Cambridge St. I called the number I found online and someone very rude and demanding answered the phone and said he had no idea where my car even was said he was out of state and that there was two lots the car could be at and he needed his driver to tell him where it was. I asked him to call me back when he found out. Few hours later I got a call back from the driver and he was demanding I meet him at their "tow lot" at a specific time to meet me there in Charlton which was 6 City Depot Rd which isn't an impoud lot or even a tow place. Just a spot they said they rent. When the guy showed up he just wanted the money. No reciept. When I said I wanted to wait for the police to make sure this was a legitimate company he got mad and said he was gonna leave and charge me more for wasting his time. I ended up saying alright I'll give you the money and the guy was like nah you can talk to Mike Holmes when he comes back on Tuesday and we can charge you everyday till then. I had to say that's not a good idea right before the cops come and they took my money. The cops showed up and told them this isn't professional business practice that they need to provide me with a receipt and he said that he would of called the cops himself. After the police verified it's an actual towing company they gave me a small "receipt" Very sketchy and unprofessional. What a nightmare. Unfortunately our car was towed. We were told our belongings from the car were at lucky 13. We went to get our possessions and all of the high ticket items were gone. Missing were one digital camera, one hitachi drill set, bags of shark bites (plumbing connections-brand new in the packages). They had removed all our CDs from the cd case. Oddly enough I purchased a butane torch for a small welding job and they opened the package, took the butane tank and left the spigot and ripped open package. Luckey 13 Recovery repo agent (Michael Holmes & Christine O'Leary (Holmes) do not follow any of the state laws. The police had been called for due to jumping a locked gate onto private land. He jimmied the car door and refused to get out after being told to leave. When the police arrived he did not get out of the car until the police said either get out or go to jail. He then argued with the police saying that the car was unlocked even though he still had the Slim Jim in his hand and that he didn't jump the gate even though there was no other way for him to get on the property. He was told he was breaking the law and would be arrested if he didn't leave. I know some repo guys get a bad rap because of the type work that they do but this company thinks that they are above the law and shouldn't get a bad rap for the type work that they do it should be for doing a bad job not having a bad job. read more
