Dr Fouts is knowledgeable and caring with my pets. I have been through some very rough times with them such as a difficult euthanasia and a pet with a chronic illness and they have made the experience wonderful. The front desk staff are rockstars and know me by name when I come in. They are friendly and engaging. I have interacted with Dr Hopping, although she has not seen my animals, and she seems great as well. The hospital is beautiful and clean. If I need a medication or food they look into ordering it for me. Their prices are reasonable. My pets actually enjoy coming here, as do I. Calls and lab results are returned promptly and appointments are easy to obtain. They do some neat adoption events and open houses through out the year, so keep an eye out for those. I really could go on and on, but you have to see for yourself. If you want the best care for your pet, this is your place!

I have supported this place for a long time and shared their statuses and thought they were such an…read moreamazing place until I adopted a puppy and they offered zero solutions and took zero responsibility and the fact that nobody told me even though it was in the paperwork that I did not have reviewed with me before leaving with him that he had Giardia and now my old senior dog at home has caught the Giardia, which is contagious after treatment and getting a negative result from being tested to check for it again, it is contagious for weeks after treatment and they did not tell me that when I took this puppy home and I have the sensitive senior dog at home now that is pooping diarrhea from Giardia and extremely sick just a few days after this puppy getting here. When I insisted that they take responsibility and that they did owe my dog medication for Giardia because nobody disclosed this to me when adopting this puppy they told me that that's my opinion and that I can take him to my own vet or pay at their vet for the treatment even though they kept admitting that this puppy did have Giardia and they were belittling and gaslighting and disrespectful at a time in my life where I am going through a lot, and I have had the patience of a saint, with this puppy, cleaning up his pee every five minutes and taking him outside every five minutes through the night without sleep and trying to train him and now my own dog that I've had for 13 years since the beginning of his life who only weighs 8 pounds is pooping himself to death right now and I have to take him to a vet and pay for treatment for a sickness that I didn't know the dog I was adopting from the league had. They will be rude and they will take zero responsibility. I will 100% admit any time that it's my own fault that I did not sit and look in detail at the paperwork before taking this dog home and the chaos of the adoption. But I will say that the shelter did also admit that they only disclose information on current illness not previous illness if it's been treated. Well, also admitting yes, even if it is contagious after treatment because I asked and the answer I got was yes they will not disclose that if it's already been treated. Be very careful about the details on the pets you adopt because every animal deserves love and every animal deserves a home and and I'm heartbroken to the point of sobbing right now while I'm writing this from sadness and frustration for this poor puppy and my own dog and because my mental health cannot take this right now, and I do not have the financial means to take care of this kind of problem, hardly for my own dog and I'm upset at the fact that at this point for my own health and my child's health and my dog's health that I already had. I have to take this puppy back because of Giardia being contagious for weeks even after being cured and now I have to do even more deep cleaning at home after all of the hard work I've already done cleaning up after him trying to help him get settled in, and my son already fell in love with him, but my son gets sick really easily and my dog gets sick really easily and more I do too so for the sake of my own family's health, I'm taking him back to the shelter and I should've looked into things more and asked about any previous illnesses, but I just thought that the leak for animal welfare was better than that. I'm not giving up on my own dog who could potentially die from this because he's so sensitive to everything and has almost died from previous illnesses. They seemed like really cool people and a really awesome place and it turned out to be very opposite of that. I'm not saying they don't care about animals, but they definitely don't care enough about people. I also wanna make it really clear that I did not yell at them on the phone and all I did was express my feelings and express the fact that they would be upset if they were in my position and someone did this to a dog that they had for 13 years since they were a puppy and wouldn't take responsibility, anyone would be upset in this position. It's wrong and unethical and to hang up on somebody who's legitimately upset, and just begging to be acknowledged as a human and for their own pet that they already had to be cared for instead of being belittled and gaslit, it's all just really devastating

They offer 24hr on call emergency care and my 14 y/o 85lb husky dane mix had collapsed and due to covid I had no help to get him up and to the vet. I knew it was time, and these guys came right to my house. Dr Schram was so compassionate and comforting at a rough time. They were respectful and did not rush me. Price was reasonable for an emergency house visit. The aftercare and return of ashes went smoothly, and again, was reasonably priced. They even made a clay nose/paw print as well as a stamped one which meant so much to me. My second experience was also wonderful, but again under unfortunate circumstances. I had just rescued a puppy several months prior, and on Halloween of all nights, he started vomiting non stop. I called ahead and spoke to the vet and after some back and forth and some observation, I headed down to the clinic around 11pm. Despite having numerous other worse emergencies pop up they kept in constant communication with me and were very compassionate. Dr Patchel as well as a newer female vet (I feel so bad I forget her name) were wonderful. The price was reasonable compared to larger emergency/specialty hospitals in the area and it feels like just going to your regular day time vet. Luckily he didnt need surgery that evening, we did a wait and see, but they checked up on him first thing Monday and sent everything over to my regular vet when he did indeed need surgery. While I don't use them for my daytime vet, as they are a little bit further from my home, I imagine they are wonderful for that as well! They also do farm animals and regularly scheduled house calls!

I have an older lab and he is a rescue that is extremely shy but they get him comfortable and he does well when he stays there. I recertification a call back within one day and was able to get her grooming appointment for the following week. I know they were booked and was so happy when I was able to be worked in. I will always return to this business as my dog looked gorgeous. I was also happy with the intake process which minimized exposure by having me call when I arrived and was embarrassed by my pup deciding she needed to go number 2 right when we walked in the door. I felt much better when the groomer told me it happens all the time. Anyway when my Samantha returned to me she was looking and smelling so fresh and I'm telling you she was a hot mess since my old groomers couldn't take her anymore.

For me to have to ask if I've called the right number turns me off from the beginning. But, then when they answer 'Hello" and sound as though I just woke them up or disturbed them from a sound sleep, it makes it worse. I recently moved to the Anderson/Mt. Washington area and have been looking for a good pet groomer in the area that grooms cats. On my way to work I noticed a sign outside of a place on Salem called Angie's Angels that read "Now Grooming Cats"! Yay! I immediately looked them up on Google and found the number and the store hours. Today's hours were 9:00 - 3:00. It was 10:45, so I called. The person who answered the phone answered "hello" in a very irritated and sleepy sounding voice. I had to ask if this was Angela's Angels grooming. Instead of the person saying "Yes! Yes, it is, how may I help you?" , The person at the other end, sounding hesitant and grouchy, said "yes.". I said that I saw a sign out front that they now groom cats?. The voice at the other end said, "yes.". I hung up. Even though this place might be great and that person at the other end might be a very nice person, I didn't get the feeling I was looking for from that first experience. If she acted that way to me, how would she be with my precious cat. I will not be going there. My search for a nice, good cat groomer continues.
