My first experience with Rolling Hills, sadly, was on the worst day of my life, but these guys made it easier to get through. They offer 24hr on call emergency care and my 14 y/o 85lb husky dane mix had collapsed and due to covid I had no help to get him up and to the vet. I knew it was time, and these guys came right to my house. Dr Schram was so compassionate and comforting at a rough time. They were respectful and did not rush me. Price was reasonable for an emergency house visit. The aftercare and return of ashes went smoothly, and again, was reasonably priced. They even made a clay nose/paw print as well as a stamped one which meant so much to me. My second experience was also wonderful, but again under unfortunate circumstances. I had just rescued a puppy several months prior, and on Halloween of all nights, he started vomiting non stop. I called ahead and spoke to the vet and after some back and forth and some observation, I headed down to the clinic around 11pm. Despite having numerous other worse emergencies pop up they kept in constant communication with me and were very compassionate. Dr Patchel as well as a newer female vet (I feel so bad I forget her name) were wonderful. The price was reasonable compared to larger emergency/specialty hospitals in the area and it feels like just going to your regular day time vet. Luckily he didnt need surgery that evening, we did a wait and see, but they checked up on him first thing Monday and sent everything over to my regular vet when he did indeed need surgery. While I don't use them for my daytime vet, as they are a little bit further from my home, I imagine they are wonderful for that as well! rolling hills made a horrible situ better...we had to euthanize my 13-year-old granddaughter's dog that she has had her entire life. She sat there with her dogs head in her hands until he took the last breath. Everyone at the clinic was awesome. The tech that did the euthanasia was so understanding and explained it every step of the way, so my granddaughter would understand. Highly recommend. read more

I had a miniature collie years ago that I had cared for by a very large Vet in the area. After she passed I didn't think I would ever get another dog but God had other plans. My son had a beautiful German Shepard named "Bailey" that he was going to have to get rid of due to moving into an apartment. So I decided to take her for a while, but for a while turned into forever. Being a mom of 4 kids that have all formed families of their she is my baby. After getting her she got sick and Rolling Hills was amazing, just amazing. They helped me got my baby in right away and was not only so unbelievably sweet but professional. Dr. Patchell is by far the best, most practical vet in the tristate, for farm animals and pets. He has helped our farmily countless times. Right now he is trying to save our 13 year old dog with bloat. He is amazing and I know he is the only one who can help him, at a price that isn't a second mortgage on our house. I've been using this vet for several years now. The very first time was an emergency situation for our pug. He had a bladder stone. I asked to see the stone once it had been removed. The vet kinda laughed and said, "Crazy thing, but we can't find the stone, it must of fell or shot out because we can't find it anywhere." I didn't look into this at the time, because I was so thankful for their help getting our dog feeling better. Second time, same issue. They took an X-ray and didn't bring him back to us. The vet said it had stones and he needed surgery. It all felt very rushed and impersonal. My kids were upset they didn't even get to see him before we left. So finally 12/10/2021 we took him back for same issue, we thought it would be like every other time. Sadly, somehow through the night he passed and the vet wasn't sure why. She claimed it probably was a blood clot, he was only 5 years old!! I tried to understand and wasn't upset with the staff at first, until 12/11 we picked up our deseased dog and we paid Rolling Hills Veterinary with a care credit card. Our bill reflected a customer credit. Instead of being credited we were charged the amount. After a couple calls to the office they finally are refunding me the amount that we were over charged. I asked about the credit and if that could be applied this time. No one in the office can tell me where this credit came from. I've talked to the vet( Dr. Luker), techs, secretary and even office manager. The office manager is guessing, that the techs probably messed up and took medicine off and gave us a credit, however she's claiming she can't give that credit to us, even though it's clearly on our bill. Not only am I in complete shock and devastating from losing our young dog so suddenly, but now I have to argue over the balance. I will forever warn other of this place!! read more

I have been using dr liming since I met him at a friends house when he was there caring for his horses before he even opened this office! Then I had him come to my house to treat my puppies and there parents. Then I got word from him he was opening a office. So we began to go there . Then I met dr patchel who was a great addition to a already wonderful thing! Then there was the time we called and dr patchel came to our house for our poor bull dog jorma, who unfortunatly has very bad cancer and was not able to go on. The compassion from dr patchel was amazing, he cryed with us as he put him down in our kitchen and removed him to be cremated all alone he never even mention a word about a bill or anything! We talked in the driveway right before he left and said to stop up at our conveince and settle up with him! One word for these people "Amazing" read more
